The design language for this UI really reminds me a lot of AC3 Electrosphere. I know both AC3 and RR5 were both made by Namco, did they also have the same employees working on both games too?
In my research for ACE3 I found out yes probably. Maybe. They did a 2016(?) slideshow presentation about the fonts of NAMCO games going back to the '80s and the visual design team had stayed relatively the same. Kind of amazing.
