When I was younger, I would draw something and go “wow this is amazing” and now I’m like, “this is terrible.” and I look at my old art and go, “wow that is terrible”
My art that I drew in January this year didn't look good compared to now in November. I like redrawing my art every few months. It makes me see how much I improved.
Me, drawing something at 3 am: “This is amazing, an absolute masterpiece, I am the new Picasso” Me, looking at the same art in the morning: “ew wtf burn it”
Lucky! When I was younger I used to ask my mom what she thought about it and make her guess what it was and cry if she didn’t guess correctly on the first try. She refers to them as “art tests” and will jokingly ask if It’s an art test when I show her my art. It’s not that I can’t handle criticism, it’s just that I can’t handle criticism.
I get my dad to but its still hard since no one in my family are art professionals. Also let me just say from the look at your banner art on your channel, your doing great so far!
I do that to everyone who draws. I'm not gonna lie and tell them it's good when its literally trash. They always draw the face and body unproportionate.
Same, there are two characters I made months ago and looking at It back now the art is terrible, but the characters are still my favorites Problably because they were the first two characters I made for my most recent project
I have a friend who I call the “fake too harsh”. She is good at art but it’s obvious she only rags on it for peoples attention. When you say something positive about your own art she’ll talk about how good she is.
Animations with Aubrey i see way too many people on the internet like that way too many, “omG mY ARt iS sO bAd”: literally the mfing Mona Lisa. And the comment section is ALWAYS “nO yOuR sO goOd i wANt tO dRaW lIKe tHat”
Its something called Fishing for Compliments; its when someone says something along the lines of "im so stupid" or "im so ugly" or "im bad at everything" etc. Etc. Because people will say things like "you're super smart!" And other compliments. Its basically a very common, annoying way to get compliments. If it were me, I'd just do something worth complimenting, but some people are lazy and others dont realise they're doing it. Im no scientist or therapist or anything though, this is just what I know about it and is mostly my opinion and view on it
I’m one of the “best drawers” in my school, and most say I’m just behind this one girl. So, I’d compare my stuff to hers and fix my own mistakes. At least until I learned she’s a tracer. Tbh it kinda sucked, but she hated my guts anyway so I called her out. So I can’t use that method for my critique anymore. So lessons 1. Be careful with the artist at school 2. Don’t compare yourself to others (too much)
True, I have a friend who is awsome at art and he is the only one at school thata is better than , me, he is a huge role model for me, he did start out by tracing, and tracing is a really good way to learn, but to trace and claim that you are not, is just plain wring
Raimu 7 Exactly the same with me! Everyone says I’m the artist of the class (I’m 11, so my art is bad anyways lol) but there was a girl ppl said she was better than me, when she showed the process of the video how she “created” it, it was just her tracing..
In my school I’m known as the “art girl” because I am always drawing whenever I get free time. I was testing out an art app and making this really trash art. Then someone complimented it. That might sound good but then I realized that she was dared to say it. The one time my art sucks. :( Edit: I was like 12 when I wrote this. I was terrible at art it’s so cringy.
The Little Cherry Blossom awh it always sucks to be the art kid. If you mess up one time everyone goes to the second best :/ But sometimes it’s really nice to be the art kid. Especially when other people ask for tips. It’s obvious they love drawing so helping them really makes me happy :D but when u mess up they stop asking for tips and stuff for quite a while. :( hopefully the people at your school weren’t too harsh!
That'd hurt alot- I feel you. We were having like an oral checkup at school, I was standing in line and was leaning on second graders' window then suddenly I heard SECOND GRADERS BEHIND me. They keep calling me "drawing" ever since.
my family: *seeing my art* "OMG WOW THIS IS SO GOOD IT'S LIKE A PROFESSIONAL!!!11!1!" vs. me: *seeing my art* "bold and brash? more like, belongs in the trash. :/"
Friend: Bro that looks so good! Me: Oh, really it’s just a drawing. The anatomy could look better. I guess I could have tried a bit harder on the hair, and maybe a bit more details on the clothing. The shading a bit lazy in places, AND DON’T GET ME STARED ON THE FRICKING HANDS. Friend: WTF
Relatable ^^; AND YOOOO BRO I FOUND YA IN THE WILD- Its been so hetic, I'm so sick of it. Good news though, I'm working on a big project in my spare time! Can't wait to come back to Watty
Me and my friend have this give and take relationship in art where we show our drawings to each other, insult them (or I guess that's mostly me, but like critique them), then give points on what to improve and fix It's a pretty good system
It's good if you and you're friend actually accept one's critique and actually tells the truth. I don't have anybody to critique my art, my friends doesn't really care much when it comes to art, Am jealous for you( TДT)
The three devils of drawing in my opinion are: •Hair- I can't for the life of me get hair to look different, due to me drawing ONE hairstyle. •Mouths- I can't get a smile, a smirk, or a frown to look good. It's almost like emotions aren't my specialty. •Hands- They're. Hands. End of statement Edit: alot of people have given me tips for realistic drawing, which I'm not mad about seen as alot of others struggle with it, and I feel like I should specify something; I don't. I gravitate more towards an animation kinda style. Again, I appretiate the tips given, realism just isn't my piece de resistance :/
The hands and the mouth for me like FOR THE LOVE OF GOD they always look weird and when someone says it looks good im like "Are you serious that looks like I've never drawn before!?"
Finally a person who dosen't say "IM tOo hArsH oN mySeLf LoL" While desperately waiting for a reply like "Awwww don't do that your art is good!!" And to get likes.
Not comparing yourself to people on social media is hard. I always try to remind myself that I don't know, if they maybe have 14 more Years of experience or something like that.
Me *about my art*: it’s so bad! My friends: IT’S SO GOOD THO!! Me: thx :) My head: but the colors are off and there’s supposed to be a shadow there, those lines are disconnected, and that wrinkle isn’t positioned right. (I’m so glad my friends don’t know how to see mistakes...)
My friends are pretty good art critics. And most of us in the group like to draw, we all like to critique each other constructively every now and then. Though we all have really varied styles, like I do stylized realism, and one them does art in a cute and more stylized anime style and another one does pure chibi and pixel art.
Hi, I'm anxiety. Yes, they can see your terrible mistakes, they just pity you so much that they feel obligated to compliment you despite how horrible your art is! *:)*
What I found really reduced my anxiety and over-analyzing of my own art is to simply hold off judgement while working on it, and decide if I like how it looks upon backing up a bit and looking at it from further away. In reality, most of the time the only artwork you're looking at that closely is your own. But if you were to get up super close to even a very skilled artist's artwork in the same way you would with your own, you would definitely begin to notice some flaws that weren't apparent at first glance.
There’s a girl at my school who is the best artist there, everyone loves her art, HOWEVER, then whenever I try and get opinion on my art they say these exact things “It’s OK, go and ask ‘insert her name’ to help you out..”
I sort of sway between being confident with my art, feeling confused, and hating my art. Frankly, I do believe if you hate all your art and can see the flaws almost right away, you're improving very quickly. Try using more references and just sketch. Don't try to refine your art down to the line, just sketch out some things and you'll feel better. I find whenever I try to make everything symmetrical and perfect, I end up with an art piece with no personality. If you sketch without worrying too much, you can end up with something that feels more alive.
You can still flip your drawings!! Just use a large mirror or your phone, take a photo of it and flip it manually, spotting errors then correcting them!
When someone asks me how long I spent on a sketch. I tell them “my whole life” You’ve spent your whole life drawing nonstop and getting better and better up to the this moment. Deep stuff
I had to make an oil painting as a final project for my senior year art class. It was a lighthouse sitting in a rocky bay with mountains in the background and a sunset. I thought it was an utter piece of shit despite what my family kept saying and several good friends who are also artists. I didn’t listen because “oh they’re just my family/friends, they’re just saying that so I don’t feel bad.” Then I take it into class for a grade and I go up to my teacher to show her and say “Take a good look, I’m burning this when I get home.” She takes one look at it and tells me to leave it in the classroom because if I don’t want it, she does. So I leave it there and then go home and then after a few days, while walking around in the hallway, I kept getting stopped by people saying “Hey, I saw your painting! It’s really good!” And then they’d walk away. I went to see what they were talking about and I saw my painting hung up outside the classroom with a group of people standing around it looking at it. When I came near the group, several people turned around and told me what a good job I did and that it was fantastic. So long story short, I made a painting, thought it was shit, planned to burn it but found out it wasn’t shit and everyone thought it was awesome except me. The moral of the story is to not let your own doubts get you down
People giving me criticism: It's okay, just work on the shading, make sure you have a definite light source. Me trying to give myself criticism: *JUST STOP BEING SHITTY AT ART AND YOU'LL BE FINE*
I'm so harsh on myself. After I draw something I analyze it to figure out what I need to improve on but make notes in a really bitchy way bc its... fun? Idk. "Fix this f***ing arm" "This leg is too long! Do better." Idk why but the pressure works for me. I need it. Im like SpongeBob when he visits Sandy for the first time. "I dont need it...... I NEEEED IT"
As I've grown older, I actually started liking my drawings more and more. I have thought about why that is and I think it's because I don't draw as serious as I used to. Lately I've just been doodling more than anything else. And because of that, I can always find something to appreciate in every drawing. I still don't think they are masterpieces, but sometimes I'm just proud of the idea. I used to stress over so many small details, and now I don't really mind the mistakes any more
「 maenaiko 」 literally someone I know she traces and one of the first times I was showing her something I drew she said ‘maybe I should stick to the drawing’ or something like that I was thinking like ??????? WHAT!
@@Marie-di5gl He's just joking but honestly spending 30 minutes to an hour on a weird looking person is kind of just.. wasteful. Although they can sometimes be cute
@@Marie-di5gl But to be fair, out of actual artists and people who have been drawing for years, who wouldn't get upset when some kid who only knows how to use Gacha Life and has barely ever actually drawn anything calls their traced OC "art". Not to mention they think that they are on our level and blame us for think of ourselves as better than them when we've practiced for years if not more to actually be better than a tracer. IF YOU'RE GONNA MAKE A ROLEPLAY OC AT LEAST GET A MOVE VISIBLE CHARACTER CREATOR THAN GACHA LIFE!!! Sorry, I had some pent up rage.
Most artists I know heavily critique their own art and give themselves no credit. What I've learned is that even if I know what I've drawn looks like shit, I can still be happy with myself for improving on something, or trying something new, or just knowing that I'll get better if I keep on the same path. I've come to a point with my art that I'm usually happy with the outcome, but I'm not blind with the flaws. Getting other people's opinions helps a lot. Mainly people who are better artists than me give me the best critiques. It doesn't feel good to hate all your art. You gotta look on the bright side more and if there's a glaring flaws you notice in your art, work on it! Look stuff up, see what your doing wrong. At least that's how I see it. If you're just drawing for the fun of it, then whatever, just keep doing what makes you happy.
My parents always tell me my art is amazing. Even a piece of art when I first started, and knew nothing about anatomy. I get there trying to support me to not let go of art, but sometimes I want them to actually give me criticism, that way I can know what to work on so I can be better.
When I first draw something I say, “Wow, I think I’m improving! This looks better than my old attempts!” And then the more I look at it the more I see the flaws and I start to think it doesn’t look good. Edit: Oh she said the same thing, I guess I’m not the only one, I feel better now, I hope I can improve.
Tip#1 - Use old art as a guide 1:10 Tip#2 -pick out specific problems 3:15 Tip#3 - dont evaluate based on what others say 4:26 Tip#4 - flip your canvas (not to much) 5:12 and for traditional artists 7:08 Tip#5 - step away for a lil bit 7:37 Tip#6 - dont give yourself bonus points for how hard the art was 8:01
Usually the things that look off are really easy to fix! An eye being in the wrong place, or the head being disproportionate, are really easy to fix and can make a huge difference. As you flip the canvas more often in each of your pieces, you'll start to put things in the right place automatically, and the reverse image won't look as weird anymore. I used to do the same thing and flipping the canvas did so much for my artwork.
Same! I'm still guilty of thinking my art is bad, but I do see what's wrong with it. My main problem is that I lack the skill to fix the mistake. Bothers me to death
when I was younger, like 6 or so, I would draw pokemon alot. My friends did this too. we were all obsessed with pokemon. One time my friend shows me one of her pokemon drawings and goes "look this is my best one!" I was stunned, because it was AMAZING and looked EXACTLY like the pokemon. my best drawing didn't even come close. She didn't seem that proud of it though, and was just kinda like 'oh I made it accurate. cool!' I asked her how she was so good, because for me it would be hard to get the lines the right length and such. She was like "oh cause I traced it" and I was like "what?" and she said "don't you trace too?" and the thought of tracing pokemon drawings had never entered my head. "that's like cheating!" I said. She was like "hm. I do this with all of mine." I never traced drawing growing up, because I didn't see the point of drawing something if you just put a piece of paper over a tablet and drew over it. Why? if it turns out good, you can't even feel proud because you literally just drew over some lines that were already there. But that's just my opinion. -\(``/)/-
I’m actually in between. I am rather happy with my art, sometimes I don’t hit the mark but I’m still proud I did it and got my idea across. Feel proud of your art no matter the way it looks. ❤️💕
I have this weird problem that I’ll look back at my old art and say to myself “I thought my old art looked better, but I know I’m improving.” Why do I feel like this? It’s really strange...
I just want to say that you are a huge inspiration to me, you helped me develop a style and improve my skills. I’m going to try to start a comic soon and will definitely use your advice!
Honey, I’m always overly confident! AND LOOK AT MY ART, ITS TERRIBLE (cough the profile pic cough (jk that ain’t my style)) and the only thing I use are people’s praise! (And lottttttts of references)
@@cocoatntp8583 references aren't a bad thing! It's actually how you improve, i'm pretty sure. It's still your art, even though it might not be your idea/ pose.
@@iizictheidiot6737 bad if you traced it over and claimed it as yours *BUT* if it's for reference and trying to achieve a certain style or practice then it's fine! (If from tutorials that's completely fine too)
My cousin showed me a drawing. And I was like “what the fuck?! This looks so good! How did you do this?!” And I was gaining all this respect for her and then she said, “I traced it. I trace all my art” and I grabbed my lunchbox and threw it at her
first??? I’ve never been this early There’s this one kid in my class who always hates on my art and whenever I ask for their opinion they say “it’s horrible and it’s not anitomically correct. The hair is too big and the clothes are gross” says the girl who draws stick figures. And there’s a kid in my art club who always says good things about my art and compliments me but he also disses my friends art and my sisters art.
Yea just becoe petty about it and if what their saying is like a style chocie for the clothes just become proud of it. Someone used to tell me i draw eyes too big all the time and even though it made me feel bad about my art, once I realized that I liked drawing characters with big eyes I got over it. For the anatomy I suggest just drawing people on pintrest or statues or something.
if they always say that its horrible, dont ask them for critique lol they obviously dont know what theyre doing and if they give u critique without asking then just try ur best to ignore them
Sounds like a girl I would always fight with in elementary school lol, she would always tell me my art was horrible but her drawings would always have huge long necks. It could just be out of jealousy, seriously some artists are just jerks.
Ok ik I’m sooo late, but nooo don’t say that! That won’t help you improve at all, and “ugh this is awful I’m awful” is just going to make it worse (and I can guarantee you it’s NOT true). Keep going, and don’t put yourself down! Stay safe stranger! ♥️

People say i am 'good at drawing' And 1. My goodness of drawing is positively on the negative scale. 2. When i was younger, i thought only 4 colours existed 😐
I absolutely adore how you described these tips! They were unbelievably relatable to me, and it truly explains to us artists that, even if we see our art as "bad" or "hard to look at", our art skills just take bundles of time, effort, and hard work. Even to someone like me, who has a hard time with critiquing my art. I have also experienced the devestating results of flipping my art over and seeing so many wonky errors that it really made me realize just how much I had to learn. Plus, the color choice and the "more detail and time = better" beliefs I had, and so on. I truly believe that your advice in this video will help so many people with their art. You are so awesome and talented. Thank you. :)
I heard for some youtubers the longer you watch the ads the more money the RUclipsr gets, so when i watch lavendertowne I make sure to watch every ad all the way through
Your so good at art! Keep up the good work! My old friend used to hate on my art but all I need is some practice! I am *definitely* the “too harsh” type of artist, but you are helping me get better! You inspired me to try and draw, and now I’m learning! Love your style! Can’t wait for your next video!!! Thank you for giving me confidence!
Same here. My characters from when I was 8 had these huge black circles with a small ring of colour around them for eyes. They looked demonic as heck. And don't get me started on animals...😂
The thing is, if you're overly critical on your art after putting it on some kind of social media platform then so many people will assume you just want attention (minus people who clearly _are_ just looking for attention, and it isn't just based on assumptions) but if you act a certain amount happy about it people will think you're cocky so when I make art I don't even want to upload it even if I made to upload it, I act nervous about my art and even that is a lot better than how I really feel about it. I used to be very confident in my art, but I quite honestly made a lot of mistakes (e.g. giving my characters bobble heads and hiding parts like hands because I didnt want to even try to draw it) that I don"t make now, and even though I'm more experienced and a lot better I still judge every little detail and error to the point that I only see my mistakes
@@LavenderTowne cool! I know you probably won't see this, but I want you to know that I love your art! It's scary to put what you make out into the world, but I'm really glad you do. Also in your redraw with the girl holding the knife, It's intresting to see the change in style. Although the original is very nice in my opinion. Hope you have a good day! Thanks for showing us all what you do
the "dont give yourself bonus points because it was hard" really hit home, I'm totally guilty of that but I have become a lot more aware of it recently and I was starting to really understand it, but you said it so simply, it really added some clarity in my mind, so thanks.
Stepping away from my art for a while is a super helpful tip! Whenever I'm designing a character, something always looks off and strange. But, taking a break from it helps me feel less frustrated, and (usually) I can see what's wrong! Great tip!
7:59 I do take breaks to see my mistakes better but, it's kinda complicated; When I’m drawing somethin, I do my sketch first like usual. And then when I finish the sketch, I take a break and come tomorrow.. ik it's kinda weird- 😓
When I was younger, I would draw something and go “wow this is amazing” and now I’m like, “this is terrible.” and I look at my old art and go, “wow that is terrible”
Topi Kopi Same man, same

My art that I drew in January this year didn't look good compared to now in November. I like redrawing my art every few months. It makes me see how much I improved.
Maybe you just realised your own limitations, and should stop drawing within your comfort zone

I've never related so much to a comment as I am now
Me, drawing something at 3 am: “This is amazing, an absolute masterpiece, I am the new Picasso”
Me, looking at the same art in the morning: “ew wtf burn it”
I relate to this comment on a spiritual level
it's currently 3 am for me and i think i'll be able to relate in the morning.

No. I can't look at them. Their pain the amount of back problems my creations have. I can't see that again. The nightmares lasted days.
My mom was always my art critic. She’s a designer and always would help me correct my sketches and make me redo drawings
Same, but she does it pretty nicely and only if i ask :)
I get my dad to but its still hard since no one in my family are art professionals. Also let me just say from the look at your banner art on your channel, your doing great so far!
@Crimson Well that sucks-
my parents would literally be like "its great!" if i drew like a 2 year old

My mom is my critique. Like one time I was drawing and she just goes,
“Oh please, you can do better than that.”
lmao
That seems slightly unhealthy lol
Dang.....☹
I FIND that kinda motivating tbh
I do that to everyone who draws. I'm not gonna lie and tell them it's good when its literally trash. They always draw the face and body unproportionate.
I cringe when I look at my old art but I usually see nice characters that I had forgotten about. So I always redraw them
Same
that's always the best part of looking back for me
Same, there are two characters I made months ago and looking at It back now the art is terrible, but the characters are still my favorites
Problably because they were the first two characters I made for my most recent project
@@Heli-draws it's so weird but great at the same time isn't? XD
That’s always fun. It’s like seeing an old friend and once you redraw them it’s like they’ve grown with you
I have a friend who I call the “fake too harsh”.
And the comment section is ALWAYS “nO yOuR sO goOd i wANt tO dRaW lIKe tHat”
@@ttortilla OMG I SEE SO MUCH OF THAT jeez it makes me wanna scream
Animations with Aubrey I actually have issues with hating myself and my art. I hate attention seekers like that.
Im no scientist or therapist or anything though, this is just what I know about it and is mostly my opinion and view on it
Chat with Cat yeah I know I just hate it lol
I’m one of the “best drawers” in my school, and most say I’m just behind this one girl. So, I’d compare my stuff to hers and fix my own mistakes. At least until I learned she’s a tracer. Tbh it kinda sucked, but she hated my guts anyway so I called her out. So I can’t use that method for my critique anymore. So lessons
1. Be careful with the artist at school
2. Don’t compare yourself to others (too much)
Lmao does everyone know she's a tracer now?
True, I have a friend who is awsome at art and he is the only one at school thata is better than , me, he is a huge role model for me, he did start out by tracing, and tracing is a really good way to learn, but to trace and claim that you are not, is just plain wring
Raimu 7
Exactly the same with me! Everyone says I’m the artist of the class (I’m 11, so my art is bad anyways lol) but there was a girl ppl said she was better than me, when she showed the process of the video how she “created” it, it was just her tracing..

The sad thing is that these people are just fishing for compliments..
that is what you call " a needy, colorful person"
i would just be like “im glad you agree and are TELLING THE TRUTH UNLIKE S O M E PEOPLE”
In my school I’m known as the “art girl” because I am always drawing whenever I get free time. I was testing out an art app and making this really trash art. Then someone complimented it. That might sound good but then I realized that she was dared to say it. The one time my art sucks. :(
Edit: I was like 12 when I wrote this. I was terrible at art it’s so cringy.
Taryn Eileen Lol im already in therapy
The Little Cherry Blossom awh it always sucks to be the art kid. If you mess up one time everyone goes to the second best :/ But sometimes it’s really nice to be the art kid. Especially when other people ask for tips. It’s obvious they love drawing so helping them really makes me happy :D but when u mess up they stop asking for tips and stuff for quite a while. :( hopefully the people at your school weren’t too harsh!
That’s not fair
That'd hurt alot- I feel you. We were having like an oral checkup at school, I was standing in line and was leaning on second graders' window then suddenly I heard SECOND GRADERS BEHIND me. They keep calling me "drawing" ever since.
@maqdie it might be true, it's not _THAT_ ridiculous

•Mouths- I can't get a smile, a smirk, or a frown to look good. It's almost like emotions aren't my specialty.

My head: but the colors are off and there’s supposed to be a shadow there, those lines are disconnected, and that wrinkle isn’t positioned right.
Don't spend a lot of time focusing on what you did wrong in your drawing. Just make more drawings and you will get better.
What I found really reduced my anxiety and over-analyzing of my own art is to simply hold off judgement while working on it, and decide if I like how it looks upon backing up a bit and looking at it from further away. In reality, most of the time the only artwork you're looking at that closely is your own. But if you were to get up super close to even a very skilled artist's artwork in the same way you would with your own, you would definitely begin to notice some flaws that weren't apparent at first glance.
that's me with shading vs my friends XD (SPEAKING OF, i forgot to shade my drawing qwq)

I had to make an oil painting as a final project for my senior year art class. It was a lighthouse sitting in a rocky bay with mountains in the background and a sunset. I thought it was an utter piece of shit despite what my family kept saying and several good friends who are also artists. I didn’t listen because “oh they’re just my family/friends, they’re just saying that so I don’t feel bad.” Then I take it into class for a grade and I go up to my teacher to show her and say “Take a good look, I’m burning this when I get home.”
She takes one look at it and tells me to leave it in the classroom because if I don’t want it, she does.

As I've grown older, I actually started liking my drawings more and more. I have thought about why that is and I think it's because I don't draw as serious as I used to. Lately I've just been doodling more than anything else. And because of that, I can always find something to appreciate in every drawing. I still don't think they are masterpieces, but sometimes I'm just proud of the idea. I used to stress over so many small details, and now I don't really mind the mistakes any more

I do this with all of mine."
I never traced drawing growing up, because I didn't see the point of drawing something if you just put a piece of paper over a tablet and drew over it. People say i am 'good at drawing'
And
1. My goodness of drawing is positively on the negative scale.
2. When i was younger, i thought only 4 colours existed 😐
@@helyphion Haha thanks
Thank you. :)
I heard for some youtubers the longer you watch the ads the more money the RUclipsr gets, so when i watch lavendertowne I make sure to watch every ad all the way through
Me: *spamming the flip shortcut*
“Don’t flip too much”
Me: *stops* ... wait what
LOL
underrated lmfao
When you find out that everyone lied to you about how “great” your art was TwT
My friends say I’m good but my art is trash.
By what I'm seeing on your pfp your art doesn't seem that bad :)
Saaaaame they're like omg that's so good and I'm like omg that's trash
Mhm.
I suck too.
Budgie Birb welcome to the club
Beating yourself up does nothing to help you improve your art. Take the compliment, but understand that you can keep pushing your skill.
This is why I'm subbed to you
I’m not that good, but I can still draw. I’m not confident about it, but my old art is...Weird.
Same here. My characters from when I was 8 had these huge black circles with a small ring of colour around them for eyes. They looked demonic as heck. And don't get me started on animals...😂
rose me too lol
Yuri Gacha-Chan oh don’t get me started on animals. 😑
@rose same w me, then again i only draw chibi characters--- so im probably not that great bc i dont know how to draw like, semi-realistic---
kosiwee by the looks of your drawling videos, you draw of computer so, in my book your good either way lol
"i drew this about 10 years ago"
wait, how old ARE you??
She's probably like twenty something
24 I believe
Yep I’m 24! So I was 14.
Thanks for showing us all what you do
LavenderTowne
You look really young! UwU
the "dont give yourself bonus points because it was hard" really hit home, I'm totally guilty of that but I have become a lot more aware of it recently and I was starting to really understand it, but you said it so simply, it really added some clarity in my mind, so thanks.
