- North Country Dodge in Arab, Alabama is the latest dealership to get hit by a very organized ring of car thieves. They stole 8 cars worth 1.2 million dollars to include a Demon 170, a Jeep Wagoneer, and a Ford Bronco Raptor. This looks like a scene right out of the movie "Gone is 60 Seconds". The FBI and local police are still looking for the suspects. If you have any information please contact Arab police at (256)586-8124.

Maybe an inside insurance job since they can't sell them.😂
Bingo. Mob setup
Yep
Had the exact thought
Don’t laugh, definitely was.
Little doubt in my mind. First thing I thought of.
so thieves stealing from thieves
😅😂🤣stealerships
Sounds about right💯🤣

🏎️🏁 from your Toronto boy
Well, I can see your mama didn’t raise no fool ..good analysis 🤙🏽
PS …yeah, you hardly see them on Toronto Streets anymore but surrounding dealers are full pack with them… then if you decide to purchase one that you have to sell your arm and a leg ..then you have quality built issues purchasing shiny garbage that just looks good but they’re ticking time bombs 💣😱
$1.2 million, but if you remove the inflated prices and dealer adjustments it's more like $150,000
Lol facts
@@johnnyturbo8460 not it ain't. sarcasm
😂😂😂
Let me guess, none of them were Hornets. lol
Lmao or EVs

Hard to feel bad for a company that takes such advantage of buyers.
I feel bad for people being taken advantage of by the church too.
I had a salesman offer me 69k for a shakedown today
Exactly fu them and those BS car's anyway.... You have to Carry a gun just to protect yourself from being a target for a dumb axx car that's sh itty anyway 🗑️
Well sounds like the dealership came up with a way to get paid on those cars, “inside job“
That dealership has to be over the moon with the theft. Nobody is buying those cars and Im sure their insurance paid.
Wait until the insurance company gives the dealer what they are actually worth🤣
Insurance for those specific vehicles are gonna skyrocket and some will probably stop accepting them.
@@Oliver-ft2fqI remember a couple years back there was talk of possible insurance denial issues regarding the easy theft of Hyundai & Kia vehicles.
@@Oliver-ft2fqI was thinking about getting a Charger GT. Progressive said it would cost $450 a month😂😂😂
Lmao
Tell me you're committing insurance fraud without telling me you're committing insurance fraud🤣😅😂
If it’s not an inside job, how would they know where everything was including the servers? Make it make sense.
Surveillance
Yep, inside job
I don’t feel sorry for any of these bum ass Dodge dealers. That’s what they get for all these years of gouging us.
I would never take a hellcat or a demon to a Walmart you’re asking for trouble.
Why would you leave a demon 170 in Walmart parking lot ? It's crazy out there LoL
I was thinking that smh
I cant wait for the follow up story about management getting arrested for "undisclosed involvement"
100%
Dealer couldn’t sell so he sets up heist and get insurance money.
Going from stealerships to stolenships now.
Love the show Racer X. I am from Alabama and this city is pronounced A-rab.
Thank you! Only ppl from the area knows he was killing the name of the city lol
Eight cars stolen, at 1.2M...that would be 150k average. No, it can't be that much.
Hellcats and higher
Dodge did this to themselves. Overpricing these vehicles and making them seem worth more than they are. Case in point the price of the D170...$156k . Just know if you get your stolen thats what the insurance ill give, no money over msrp.
1.2 million literally could just be a dozed hellcats which is crazy
I’m actually watching Gone In 60 Seconds right now on Hulu 😂 crazy coincidence!
This is crazy! I know somebody tried to break into my garage door for my scat pack widebody charger.. broke the garage door all the hell.. somebody broke into my friends house kicked his front door and looking for his TRX keys… it’s freaking ridiculous. Just keep your car. Killer upload. Brother👊
Bro where the fuck do you live?
Sad how bad people want these Mopars/RAM
Where are you from bro?
What he said^^ where tf you from? I’ve never fell like my car was in danger of getting stolen at my house. Yes while I’m out in public if it’s a shady place then yes. You just need to move lol
@@TherealclaytonElk River Mn
So the alarms did not go off, and people are storing footage on a hard drive and not in the cloud. How does my house have better security?
Owner calls a professional car booster. It's so obvious it's insurance fraud
That because it is insurance fraud. Anyone that can manage to hack different manufacturers software and do all that, won’t need to steal cars. They just didn’t hack safe but manage to hack camera systems, off site servers and do this in a very short period of time. Sorry not buying it?
Serious jail time is needed, along with heavy fines, got to start making it hurt!
Don’t be a sucker
Serious jail time is needed for the big guys. Which will never happen.
And the local crooked cops never saw anything
We were in on it bruh😂
When I saw 1.2 million in stolen cars I was thinking someone stole a 100 cars so how did they do that so fast? Then you said 8 cars were stolen and it downed on me that adds up to 1.2 million ! On top of that the dealer offering 10K reward to return the cars. That's probably how much the cars are really worth
For the keys. RatarD
🐶They're on a ship 🚢
Crazy thing is that I know exactly where the safe is at my local dealership. Went to pay for an oil change and there it was, sitting right behind the counter. Was thinking it’s kind of smart using a save instead of the old lockboxes. But dumb at the same time having it visible to the public.
Like they say......
MOPAR or No Car.
Gone in 60 seconds is a great movie 🎬
A lot of trap music glorifies hellcats. Also, if your security footage is only on premise then that's your own fault imo. 3-2-1 data backup rule for life. 3 copies, 2 onsite in different media, and 1 offsite in cold storage or in the cloud. I'm surprised dealerships aren't putting air tags in cars at this point. At least the super expensive cars.
That's the thing, they KNOW all these things if they're at all worth their salt. An insider did this for sure.
Dude they WANTED these cars stolen. You can't sell them....fraud them.😂
I can see the response from knockout 360 now 👍👍😂😂😂
Yeah, his channel is QUICKLY becoming boring and predictable. Kinda like here.
Chargers and challengers are now not only boring, but dangerous to the owner to own.
No thanks
It is a very beautiful day in Tampa Bay 🙏🏾Great Video RX
That dealership has real people, with real lives attached to it.
It’s not hard for investigators to figure wether it was inside job or not
Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking inside job to cash in on insurance claims.
The Brandon dealership had the same TRX trucks stolen twice. We recovered them the first time being loaded into shipping containers in Miami. The second time they were at the port in Jacksonville. They stole plates off of our delivery tucks.
The price for the Demon 170 is about right, that's what they're selling for at auction, despite what dealers want to charge for them.
RacerX... just to help prevent someone being sensitive in some weird way, it's pronounced "Ay-rab" or "ey-rab", and not the typical way you would read the word as if you were using it to describe the Middle East. It was actually named Arad after Stephen Tuttle Thompson's son in 1857 when he built a house there in 1857 and established the first post office in 1882. When he sent the establishment letter in, his son Arad's name was misread as 'Arab' with a b, but pronounced with a long A. No big deal, I've just seen people blow up saying ignorant things about the town calling it racist when they've seen what it's name is without understanding the history and how the postal service goofed. Thanks for bringing it to light. A few have been recovered, but not many. Have a good weekend!
Happened in the St. Louis area not long ago at a GM dealer.
The gone in 60 Sec plugs were great😂
If you're truly worried about your car being stolen, you need to disable the fuel pump on a dedicated circuit with a manual switch hidden someplace.
The dealer had a Black Ghost, Go Mango King Daytona, and a Green Swinger the last time I was in the showroom. Never saw the Demon.
Very interesting that there is a Police station under 1/2 mile away, they must have bypassed the building security system as well. Sure can't wait to see the outcome of this as details surface.
I don't know... This still seems like an inside job to me. I don't see how they would have known how to jump over all the security hurdles.
The Fast and The Furious movies made Mopar extremely popular, so that really puts iit on the radar for thieves.
That said, thieves suck! I hope the rest of the cars are found, and the thieves get what's coming to them!
Great video bud!
Don't they ship these cars out of the states to smuggle them into Europe where it is harder to acquire one
Middle East / Mexico.
@@XxTournaquetxXthis
Big operation for sure
Russia, Eastern Europe. South America, Mexico.
Africa too
I had to take my GMC in for an airbag recall, and I took my time looking around the place and I even saw the key vault along with the security cameras.
Somebody could easily do the same thing.
Those cars are on their way to the other side of the world
Same thing happened at Chev dealer in Lawrenceburg Tn. Z06 Vette, HD2500 and Yukon.
They're getting bolder and bolder! What surprises me is this was in Alabama.
Wow you're so gullible it's pathetic
Guns don't make the incest state quite as safe as they thought
That happened at the San Leandro dealership several years back that was crazy
It's definitely an inside job! With sales slowing and Floorplan interest up! Tk's Garage needs to investigate 😂
Wow, odds are those vehicles have already been completely stripped of all parts, the serial numbers have been scrubbed, the frame's have been chopped up & the parts have been fenced off and sold. For organized Crews like this it's all about the quick flip and turn around to the chop shops ...
The same thing happened here in Cape Coral Florida where I live at the Dodge dealership about a month ago
Someone had inside information on this dealership, or it could be an insurance job.
That sucks. Been a lot of odd thefts. I saw one on ZL1 Camaro. I was thinking maybe they got some info on previous heists. Like you said 170 should show up. I had a Saleen stolen years ago and was never found. Also serialized car. Not a fun experience. Keep your 170 safe.
Definitely sounds suspicious 😂😂
WHAT! YOU LEAVE THAT IN A WALYMART PARKING! ARE YOU SERIOUS? I have a RT 5.7 and I dont do that!😮
It is the wild wild west out there. Pisses me off. Don't go to any hotels or motels, never park it and go into a store. Every time I am out in mine I feel the pressure around me. Many people don't like us driving in our Mopars. Many people see them as a ticket to money in there pockets. Few are real car peeps who say that's an awesome car. With the economy the way it is there are a lot of vultures looking at your car as if I could only steal it and sell it I could make money or just destroy it at these side shows. They are doing races and donuts in them and destroying our last collectable cars ever made
They are not fun to own these days. To much unneeded stress. Not to mention they are old and played out now
So one car was stolen 😆 with markup
Definitely sounds like insurance fraud.
Racer you know what it is about mopar.. it’s a regular mfn car. Easier to blend in traffic. Easy to get the parts off quick. Yall hype up the competition or having the best spec so here we are
That's because NO ONE wants the electric chargers that are coming soon.
I bet no one steals them...
Apple air tag (gps unit) your personal vehicle folks. It’s the size of a quarter and can be hidden basically anywhere on the car or truck. Yes the vehicle will likely be stripped down to parts, but if you hide it good enough the scum bags won’t find it quick enough for you not to track it.
Unless they have an iphone that tells them they’re being tracked. Airtags are good but easy for them to find. What I did is used airtags as a decoy and installed a better GPS tracker in a way where Car parts have to be taken off to find it.
@@-ved89 if the AirTag is hidden well which is extremely easy to do it doesn’t matter if their iPhone tells them there is a tag in the car. If they can’t find it they can’t find it. Secondly if the thieves know the car is being tracked they are much more likely to ditch it before inflicting major damage and stripping it. Hell it might even be wise to post a “ this car is tracked by GPS” sign on the car.
RacerX, it happened right down south of me. I thought about telling you when it hit the news here in Huntsville, Alabama.
Crazy! Great video! 😎 👍🏻
This sounds really shady! They might have left the front door open and no locks on the gates. Sounds pretty easy to steal from CDJR dealerships now😂
And here i am trying to build my car legally lol. Why dont these dealerships have things to block the entrances and exits? But this is too highly organized and tech driven, these are pros on another level
No honor among thieves. Speaking about both the dealer and the jackers.....
Joke is on them! Their warranty work will be denied at Dodge
Someone should be in charge each week (then rotate) to hold the box/bag of keys.
Here in Missouri Town of Sullivan Missouri Laurel Dodge Chevrolet Ford Its a big dealer about 4 to 5 years ago the had 4 Challengers Hellcats the 4 that was stolen was all Challengers High HP. Car's there was 5 guys out of St Louis came down did same thing. But they didn't get away with them they wreck all 4 they was totaled . They end up buying a factory went out of business they bought it an now they keep all the high end cars there in side it has a 12 ft fence around it. You can't even get into that place unless your with a salesmen. Are they go get it. I believe the one just happen was inside job. for what was done cameras an to have took the video of it. They will be have 24/7 security . Laurel has it now. They even have a dealer in IL . to.
The replacement of the Key Fobs are truly expensive. TWO Fobs per car at $320 each totals $640 per car plus the cost of reprogramming. So, just the cost of for the fobs alone $192,000.00 is a serious cost. This will affect everyone in raised insurance cost for both dealers and owners.
Maybe if the dealer didn’t have crazy addendums they would have already sold the Wagoneer, Bronco, and Demon 170. 🤷♂️
Just speculating, but maybe investigators were able to piece enough info together using digital forensics. Just because you delete something doesn't mean it's truly deleted until that part of the drive has be overwritten several times. Also, from what you say, it seems they destroyed the backups as well??
I know we all hate the dealers right now but this was messed up to do. The employees there are going to be struggling.
Given the state Stellantis is in this might take that dealership down completely. They probably haven’t been selling very well to begin with and now they can’t sell anything. 😬
No honor among thieves. Thieves stealing from thieves.
Being a thief has it's plusssssss....No Dealer Mark-Up.....
The owner of that dealership is the same owner of DelandCJDR in deland Florida also.
Worst fear is my car getting taken from service after watching it like a hawk for years. I’d have an aneurysm if I had to leave it in a Walmart parking lot of all places
They only want the MOPAR engines so they can put them in the old school cars for drag racing.
Sound like a inside job to me maybe one of the salesman that work there lol
Dealers getting desperate for $ now they committed insurance fraud😂😂
Bad situation, I don’t drive my 18” demon much since I feel like it will be gone if I leave it unattended for more than 5 minutes
I’m sure the local police are on it. Oh wait, they are too busy sitting on the side of the highway waiting for you to go 5mph over the speed limit. 👍 I just passed a cop sitting in a ditch on the side of the road hard at work watching something on their phone.
i wish i was this smart to pull stuff off like this.
And that’s why you have full coverage insurance
Maybe if they didn't put insane markups over MSRP they wouldn't have this problem.
Give all the employees a lie detector test
I had a job once that dealt with money. A week after I left they had an inside job theft. Because of the timing I got brought in for a polygraph. I had nothing to do with it. Never heard the outcome of the incident
That would make the most sense I would think
This sound way to complex for normal thieves and just so happens dodge can't sell these cars so who would want to steal them? Sounds like a inside job for a insurance claim
Call Jake from State Farm tell him u need a 7 figure check to cover some cars we can’t sale
😅. They put themselves in this situation.
You say poor Toby, I say poor us.
Easy Money! the more techy things get, the easier it is to crack
This happened less than 5 minutes from my house it happened in Arab Alabama around midnight Sunday
Plot twist, turns out the Did need to gouge all their customers for the last 2 years 😂
So, on another note, RacerX, what's the status of your Demon 170. It's been over a week. Surely, the dealer must have an update on what went wrong?
Shout out Tampa native had to give a sub
Expect to see them on Carvana in about a week
A good tech support can revive lost data, unless it's like a magnet type wipe (which is destructive to the drives)
Bottom line is, if these dealers really cared they’d keep their most valuable inventory behind lock and key… like 10’ fencing with razor wire. Otherwise they simply don’t care. Beyond that, you can speculate anything you want regarding the nature or motivation of the heist. I’d be surprised if a lot of these aren’t indeed inside jobs, where some lowly runner guy tips off his buddies on how to get in and where the keys are. And everyone knows how easy these cars are to steal… and that’s WITHOUT a full bag of keys, which these guys easily gained access to.
They did it was in a building, but you think a fence is gonna stop them
Hey RacerX get IGLA installed on your Demon 170 and you can leave it anywhere you want with the key sitting on the seat and it will still be there when you come out.
Have you ever heard of a tow truck.
Thief robbing another thief
