when I buy a car (off facebook), I insist on a face-to-face exchange of car/money. I take the time to drive out with a trailer and pick it up. If the seller isn't interested in doing that, I walk away. I've had a couple of people that refused that kind of transaction. It's not practical to "hope for the best" nowadays.
100% had it not been for the deal I was potentially getting I would have passed
Don't ever pay a stranger off the streets for a car that is not sitting in front of you with pink slip in hand. That is common knowledge. Never be desperate for a car. Be patient. Learn from your first mistake of you'll just be an easy target for scammers. You've been warned.
Always. However, with how the deal was being structured and no apparent warning signs. This is and was a weird scenario. Completely agree though
@reapersrt yea those stupid people out there scamming people ruin the experience for others. Plenty of people tried to scam me on Facebook market place. I learned what to look out for. Certain people I had to block or ignore. The ones I met in person had lemons, so I walked away. I ended up buying from a dealership, but the transmission gave me issues on the vehicle. I heard that it's best to have a mechanic come with you or take it to a mechanic before purchasing it.
It blows my mind when ppl think this is a good idea smh this isn’t a store ur buying from smh this world scares me with they decision making seriously
Be careful scammers are getting smarter and it’s making it harder for people to trust
Dude that totally sucks that that happened to you. But there are crazy deals out there sometimes. I just bought a 2020 dodge charger r/t blacktop package with 21,000 miles on it for $24,300. I bought it sight unseen and had it shipped to me and it was legit! Just have to be careful who you do business with, honestly i probably would have got scammed by that hellcat deal if i was in that Facebook group! Lol.
Super crazy deal. I'm glad you got you RT! Yeah man. On to the next.
Sorry to hear about that.
Who in their right mind would drive a car for 20 hrs and at that 30 k for a hell cat with 40k miles to good to be true
Maybe buts there are crazier things now a days for sure
oh noooooooo
Quit crying for $500 take it as a lost already
don't be afraid to put a border around the text (or a stroke) you use on your thumbnails, or a different colour.
I had some guy pretend to buy my car, even sent a dispatcher receipt from some email and asked I PayPal him $800 for shipping. Asked my dad for the money and never heard back from him, I was 14 at the time, 24 now. Ever since I just don’t trust anything or anyone unless is in person
your car at 14???
Same I normally don't either but the "Possible" deal was something to think about here. Had it been legit and I treated them like a scammed they turned out to be, I would have lost out. 100% though
@@civixlol yes in Florida you can have a learners at 15 so if you’re close to your bday at 14 you can drive to school/ work
@@reapersrt I don’t blame you one bit I was watching the video and I kept on waiting for a give away but there was none until he started ghosting you. Sorry this happened, unfortunately there’s too many out there without morale
To everyone do not send money until you look at the car and title in person people are trying to scam you a lot now please be careful with your money and your information
100% if it weren't for the possible deal. I wouldn't have either
@@reapersrt I understand I want a hellcat to I see a lot of deals on them but I do not have a time to look at the car so I lose the deal
OK, don’t go jumping off the bridge. You can make that money back so you can save up and get a hellcat.
100% Def mindset is to grow the channel and get back to that point!
I’m sorry bro lol …but never ever send anyone money with out seeing the car bro smh
That happened to be before on fb got scammed out of 2000 dollars on a Mercedes.
I use to facebook scam and just from he was talking i could see me in him.. 😂 never send a dude with that kinda house 500$ on an app u cant get it back on. If they say apple cash or cashapp and wont meet till u send. Its a scam.
I saw this car for sell was tempted to buy it to
That guy got 6 other people I found out
Delivery scam I ran across this type of person twice. I swear its the same person smh scammers
Yeah if a deal is too good it won’t be delivered because people will be lined up to buy it locally. No item in person no cash and even then you can get scammed other ways.
I had someone message me and told me I won a car from gas monkey garage. like a second place thing. wanted 500 bucks to deliver it. I said I would go get it and they said it was already in transit. I know what they were giving away so I knew it was a scam.
People need to learn how to be so cheap and ask would u deliver it to me who would actually do that
The people that think they going to get a steal of deal be the ones getting scammed be realistc with ya selfs
You live and you learn
