Just replaced 4 of these valves. Like the the other comment here my valves have the older smaller diamond. No worries, went smooth. This video shows exactly how easy it was. The only thing I was concerned about was seating the tool just right, but I way overthought it. It only requires a small amount of pressure and then you can pull it right out. Thanks for the video.

I have the older style manabloc (smaller diamonds). I Replaced a leaking valve with Viega 50602 replacement valve kit. It was very easy to replace. I was able to do it without removing/disturbing the water line connections. Be prepared for water to come gushing out a bit when you pop the valve out.

Just replaced one of my valves with the new larger diamond valve. Worked great and no more leak. The only issue was the removal tool. I really didn't get how to use it. I eventually got it to pop out. But took some work. Other than that, very smooth.

This company does not honor the warranty on these units. Unfortunately, I had replaced it with another as part of their warranty process only to be denied. the unit only lasted 6 years before a leak developed from within the bloc. I will never buy another VIEGA product ever!!!
