    I've messed around with engineering my own exhaust as well. Final version: Mild steel dual exhaust with H crossover, stock cats (CA!) 2 louvered resonators (super cheap) to lower pitch, and 2 vibrant ultra quiet mufflers. Sounds like a v8. Pulled up on a corvette, couldn't tell our exhaust notes apart. Easy, inexpensive. No trumpet, no drone.

    Either ur gonna sound like a vq or save 3k for a motordyne. No other exhaust will sound good compared to motordyne.

    Your car would look a lot better if you rebadged it as a Nissan Skyline 350 gt I know where you can buy the bits you need to make it

      Haven’t heard how those sound too much but I love z1 so I’m sure not a bad option, I’m just not a big fan of the style of the single exit

    How to make it sound good: Sell it.
    It's a V6, it's ALWAYS going to sound bad. the rasp comes from poorly sized exhaust, the trumpet sound comes from poor muffler selection.

    I like the trumpet sound

    • @kapow_g37
      @kapow_g37  8 месяцев назад

      Honestly, it’s a distinguished sound and different than most V6 is so I don’t hate it but also doesn’t really compare to something like a V8 personally
