@@kapow_g37 for sure I've already accepted the fact it could blow up within 10k miles only thing that makes me believe it won't is he daily drives it everyday 30-40 minutes to work everyday he's owned it for 2.5 years and doesn't do that takeover crap in it

Do you think a engine swap is even worth it put a lower mileage engine in it the body is pretty mint just bumper is scratched up and dent in the door but no rust at all

Yeah, I do think part of the shaky steering wheel is the rotors I can feel it in breaking sometimes but honestly, yeah I’m eventually probably gonna transmission swap this car but as long as it’s my daily, I’d probably just go with automatic

@@kapow_g37 autos are much more relaxing to drive but I love my third pedal 😝 on mine I’m missing the cover to the fuse box right behind the drivers intake box…could you tell me what that fuse box is for 😬

@@jaygreen1181 I wish I could tell you 😭. But I mean, sometimes an alignment can help it could also possibly be rotors, but you just kinda have to do some trial and error because it’s hard to pinpoint what it could be.

Honestly the only ones I really know are the vibrant and they really definitely tone down the sound and make it sound good

Intakes, injectors, exhaust, test, pipes, headers. Really everything that will do it that you can buy you just kinda gotta find the brands that will work for you

Depends on how you get the muffler delete. You can go to a shop and have them simply cut the old one off and weld some piping in the place or you can get pipes online that just replaced the fitment of the muffler.

Honestly, a great question that I couldn’t really tell you because I’m always budgeting for my stuff, but I always hear that Motin is the best so maybe I do something like that but make a few tweaks to it

@@joshg0h79 that’s the crank horsepower rating for the car. Crank horsepower is how much the motor individually makes realistically this car is about 280 wheel horsepower so how much power is actually getting to the ground. So I ended up making 341 wheel horsepower about 61 whp or I believe it was like 18% increase in power

@@codygarcia9007 vibrant resonators would 1000% help. I feel like they could almost eliminate that rasp completely or tone it down enough to where It’s not so unbearable.

@@kapow_g37 so should take off my stock resonators and put on the vibrant resonators or keep my stock ones and add the vibrant ones? i still want it to be loud but i just want to get rid of that trumpet sound

@@codygarcia9007 that’s exactly what I wanted and to be honest it’s hard to achieve. You can check out my entire exhaust video if you want more, but basically I have aftermarket exhaust with resonated test pipes, and the resonators that came on the exhaust and then I had vibrant resonators welded in keeping those ones, but I cut them open and took out the sound deadening. It eliminates rasp but doesn’t quiet it down too much

@@kapow_g37 if i cut the vibrant resonators open and take off the deadening it was still take down some of the rasp right? im thinking on keeping the stock resonators and getting the vibrant ones and doing what you did when you cut them open and taking off the deadening. If the vibrant ones still take off some rasp without the deadening i feel like it would be perfect

@@codygarcia9007 for me after I cut them open it still left like a little bit of rasp, but it blends in more with the engine sound and isn’t so abrupt then I have resonated exhaust tips that I think gives out the perfect tone. I will say it is a pretty annoying process cutting open the resonator because there’s fiberglass in the sounding and that shit gets everywhere. and I will also say there is a little bit of trial and error in this so what I did was buy exhaust clamps so that I could remove and put back the resonators and tips every time I changed it to hear the sound then eventually got them welded in once I liked the sound

If you have extended studs, very helpful and hubcentric aren’t that bad but when you get pretty big hub centric, it’s definitely not as good but I will say I’ve been running these for like over a year and have had no problems. Just be sure to torque them down!

Yeah, definitely recommend at least 89 for this car, but I was running 93 before the tune the highest premium you can get for pump gas around here, but I’m tuned to run the E85 now

Hmmm idk bout that one man these engines need air. Maybe you could get that with like no air filters or something, but like those stock air boxes won’t support forever

@kapow_g37 speed culture studios has a vid of his on the dyno hitting that number with the stock box. It's been said that at least on these cars...the stock intake is actually pretty good.

Damn that’s pretty crazy then. It’s got to have some insane supporting mods to go with that.

@kapow_g37 test pipes cat back is all far as I know. Then he put a intake on it and dyno'd it again and lost power. Check him out if you haven't seen it. He got it tuned at soho. @speedculturestudios

Depends on who you go with but for me the street tune ran about $800 or less and then getting Dyno time was like $200

@@kapow_g37 I’ll check it out, I live in Florida so I got a quote for 1050 from a dyno tuner he uses uprev, the thing is I have 3” admin intakes, do you think it has te be specifically tuned by them?

1050 sounds right. Also not at all. Tuners know what they’re doing and people come in with all kinds of different parts so wouldn’t be a problem at all. I will say as much as you can do your research to find people that specifically tune VQ engines or tune them often.some people just tune a wide variety but if they specialize in VQ, they know, more specifically what to look for and how to tune them better!

So I do everything myself, but my tuner had to install the intake and injectors at his shop, but I also helped and the intake and injector install plus retune was about 800 Dyno 200$ Injectors-320$ Intakes-400$ Catback-400$ Test pipes-200$ I do have a video on my channel that goes in depth with all these that might be a little more accurate !

Really depends what u want. I think coilovers really planted the car and made a lot more fun and also looked better. Or simple axle back exhaust. Cheap and lets u hear the car without being to loud

@@user-be1cb6kp4x totally agree it won’t run properly but could run enough to drive it somewhere near to get tuned if done at the same time and want to install the parts yourself. Def not putting e85 in till a tune tho
