Knock on wood, im at 118k and no gallery gasket problem. I check my oil levels religiously and the ecu will let me know if i loose oil pressure. Not the horrible thing vq owners complain about.
@@kapow_g37 I’ll check it out, I live in Florida so I got a quote for 1050 from a dyno tuner he uses uprev, the thing is I have 3” admin intakes, do you think it has te be specifically tuned by them?
1050 sounds right. Also not at all. Tuners know what they’re doing and people come in with all kinds of different parts so wouldn’t be a problem at all. I will say as much as you can do your research to find people that specifically tune VQ engines or tune them often.some people just tune a wide variety but if they specialize in VQ, they know, more specifically what to look for and how to tune them better!
Kind of a lot of miles for 8k if it looks to be in very good shape then maybe it’s good but feel like you could get something cheaper like that for cheaper
Really depends what u want. I think coilovers really planted the car and made a lot more fun and also looked better. Or simple axle back exhaust. Cheap and lets u hear the car without being to loud
Honestly, I could not tell you but a little bit of research could show which exhaust fit or just double checking any exhaust you look up but it says it fits all models
i just got a tuned q and fingers crossed i’ve had no issues honestly and it’s been the best car to date. all depends on maintenance
Honestly, some people might just get unlucky but if you keep up on maintenance could easily last 200,000 miles plus
Great video. Thanks
PRECIATE IT!

Same here I have realized I need to check it quite often😭
How much should does dyno usually cost for a custom tune
Depends on who you go with but for me the street tune ran about $800 or less and then getting Dyno time was like $200
I do have a video on my page of me at the Dyno if you’re interested!

I just go a 2012 g37x no mods at 80k miles, what do you recommend as a first mod for me to do?
Just keep it stock

Thoughts on buying a smart car ??????????
Don’t
you think an 09 with 130k miles and 1 owner worth it no accidents
If it’s unmodified, then yeah for sure
Hard pass. Too many kids and ricers.
Ur loss
