Just to add some interesting history, the Dutch used to colonized Melaka for 183 years starting 1641. In 1824, Dutch n British signed Anglo-Dutch Treaty, to exchange some colonized territory. This treaty is the main cause that separate the border of Malaysia-Indonesia today.

A little correction. nasi lemak does have different variations even tho mostly the same. my state of Terengganu have our very own style. and laksa did not originate from Sarawak. it's a dish between a fusion of chinese and malay or we call peranakan. most likely from west side peninsula.

Hey Victor. Cycling is huge in the Netherlands! You can easily cross into other countries along bicycle lanes or rural roads. There are no physical borders is most of the EU. Everyone must always bring his/her Passport or EU ID card.
@@GlobalGibbon if fish and chips is seen as traditionally Brits bite, correct me if I'm wrong, what or which one is typical, must try Dutch bites if I travel there some day?
@@VictorPeter there aren't many typical Dutch dishes. However, you'll have to try the Raw Herring, and some kind of Stamppot. Stamppot is a winter dish, which is mashed potatoes with another vegetable or vegetables. You eat this with pickles, and a big smoked sausage!
