- WoW Classic already continues to be among the top view games in steams, and is the centerpiece of many articles right now. It's a huge success and it got here because of the many fans who pushed to bring this game to light, even when it was unpopular.

I'm super stoked for Classic. I haven't played since Cata and really miss how the game used to be.
Fast forward to October 2019: Classic's been out for a while now, and it's hugely successful beyond "anyone"'s expectations (hah), and people are starting to talk about why. I think Blizzard's learning a few lessons about what really constitutes good game design.

Great video as always good sir. I feel that the "I told you so" can no be said enough.
I think the biggest thing is vanilla was the challenge. Everything was hard and nothing held your hand but the reward was always there for your efforts. The game did an great job of making people group up to get stuff done. It created strong connections between players
BLIZZARD basically gutted all the fun stuff that made it such a great game all in the name of making the game easier to program for them. Skill Trees/ Ammo/ all the fun Pet mechanics/ Racial Talents like the Dwarven Treasure Finder/ ect, ect...the made a huge miscalculation and mistake with the direction and decisions that came after "CLASSIC". If only they could have kept all those "little" things that made it so much fun and also have the fun stuff in later expansions, for example, the Quests were always good, but they really mastered them the more time went by.

Great video. I fell in love with Wow because of the game play. Because I felt there was a real danger in this imaginary world. Things were not easy. I had to really think about my talent points and level up my skills. I was praying that someday they would do this and they did. I never tried the private servers just out of fear of somehow getting banned or whatever but I was jealous of those who did. I didn't get a beta invite but wish I did so I watch these videos and cant wait for it to come out at release.

Good video, the only thing I disagree with is hinting at retail wow still being a good game. Atleast in my opinion, it's damaged beyond repair lol.
Fair enough. I'm enjoying the casual pace of the game, but I'm much more excited for Classic!
Great Video. I've always been a big fan of Vanilla and pushed everyone to try it and really understand why it's such a great game. For all t he people who hated on players who wanted the original game I can only say....
