It was fun listening to all of your observations and theories! It definitely took me back to when I first watched the show. I said to myself at the time very much what you said - that I was completely on board with the show and just trusting that the writers were in charge and completely in control of the wild ride. As you approach the end of the journey (and I know you're even further along over on Patreon) my only advise would be to savor the not knowing while you can. Soon enough you will finish the show and you'll never be able to say you don't know how it ends. It could sound like I'm saying I did not like the ending. That is NOT what I'm saying at all. I LOVED the ending. I'm just saying once you finish the show, you'll never be able to sit and wonder what's going to happen next and that state of not knowing was so much fun!
You have some great theories and you're asking all the right questions, but as we approach the final season, I think you'll find to answer your questions you first need to question a lot of your ASSUMPTIONS.
Interesting theories. Some of them you are spot on. And some are way off. I think I can help with the Richard time travel. We don’t know where Richard was during this initial time jump. We’ve only come across him at certain points in time, similar to Sawyer seeing Kate. If Richard was in Otherville during thr initial jump, 2008 Richard is still there. But he’s also on the island in the 50’s. And pre-Ethan demise. And it wouldn’t hurt to have a box of Kleenex around. Just saying.
Since I’m replying 2 years later. I just want to say congrats, you have so much right. Back in the day we had lots of places to flesh out our theories (The fuselage, Dark ufo), but you’re doing it all on your own.
Love the smoke monster theories, super interesting. I like the fact we're so deep in that there are theories on if the rope flashes through time or not. Sadly I don't think the writers were thinking that deeply about it at this point in the show. When messing with time travel in any story there's always little slip ups and rule breaks that happen because they are understandably trying to make sure the main story stays coherent and free of any "rule breaking." There's more examples but i'll wait until the story is further along to bring them up.
By now you know whether anything you said was accurate or not... regardless, it was a delight to hear all of your truly wacky and occasionally logical theories and thoughts at this point in the series 😂🏝
Talking of the order in which they got nosebleeds, I've always thought there was a mistake made here. As we now know, Miles IS Dr Chang's baby...and therefore only spent several months on the island before leaving. Juliet, however, has been on the island for 3 years, so she should have had nosebleeds before Miles. I've always wondered if this mistake was made simply because, chronologically, Miles was there before Juliet was.
I feel like the people who get too invested in theories were the ones most disappointed in this show. Guard your heart, Neil. Sometimes whatever is, just is.
This is the exact type of episode u should drop to fill one of the 2 episodes you do a week. This will allow u to skip 1 week of content to do a double recap on the finales without missing a week of content....ps the rope theory is correct
S5 throws people for a loop!
It’s so great! I’m excited to watch for all of your theories! 🤪
More insane theories? Keep ‘em coming hahah

Do you remember when Sawyer and Kate were building a runway back in season 3? Juliet says to Sawyer that it was a landing strip for the Aliens...
Great theories Neil. Can't wait to how they all unfold!
This was a nice Sunday surprise!!
I absolutely LOVE some of the theories you're coming up with!! Keep the insane postulating coming!

Love the amount of thought you're putting into these theories, Neil. You will have to do this again during the final season!
A funny thing happened on the way to the forum … :o)
Huge props for Herb Alpert & Tijuana Brass’ Spanish Flea!
Love your theories. Reminds me of when I saw it when it was airing. Can’t wait for you to reveal what’s actually going on lol

They were already in the endgame of the show, why wouldn't they think about it? And they wanted to do a plot like that for years already.
Hey thanks for the pleasant surprise bonus! cheers!

I'm 00:01 seconds into the video. I've only read the title so far. Insane theories is why I'm here. Lol.
Lost is probably the greatest work of art ever presented to mankind. Were Abrams, Lieber and Lindelof channeling God Himself?
Abrams didn't have much to do with it, Lieber even less so...
Giacchino definitely was

It seems more like people who NEED answers for everything & didn't understand things were the ones disappointed. Lost actually answers most questions.
Maybe

Its hard to manipulate someone who feels no guilt or remorse.
They get cocky.
