Ok, exploding professor and aliens aside, can I take a moment to direct attention to the fact that this game had one of the few villains that actually was smart enough to respond to the "what is your plan" question with a "none of your business"? I mean, that was prime monologue bait right there and he shrugged it off like a champ. As generic and easy a villain he might have been, he gets bonus points for that.

Rowan Williams wow. I beat x5 twice (one with X and one with Zero AND their super forms aka ultimate X and black zero.) I still play the X series on my GameCube (but I don't have a PS2 so no X7 or X8.). Lol, good luck trying to beat X6 using only non-armored X..
My take on the game: So it seems like it's good quality, (for its time at least) but the translation is terrible, and it almost feels like they were lazy with the bad ending, by moving the sprites away. However, why is the bad ending so cheerful? They could've at least added different music. It almost feels like the game is saying, "oh well, you let everyone die, thanks for playing!!!" The plot also doesn't make much sense and it's hard to understand what the characters are trying to say. Though I should cut this game some slack, considering there are even worse translations out there *cough* terra incognita *cough* but terra incognita was a small game released for the PS1 (or PS2 I honestly don't remember) but anyway that's my take on this game.
