As someone who's owned several Gibson and a few Epi's, I can confirm, in many instances, the Epi's are just as good (often times, better) at a fraction of the cost. I got a crazy good deal on a Matt Heafy Custom Origins LP (Black/gold hardware) and it punches far above its price point. Playability, fit and finish, sound, etc...an absolutely outstanding guitar. Highly recommended. For additional context, the Gibson's I'm referring to aren't shoddy ones from the shitty era. Many people would be surprised at how little a different name on their headstock can represent. Outstanding cover, by the way. Question, though. Do you have any specific info, in regard to the delay settings. In particular, the part with the cool slides on the upper frets
I knew most of the song but was really confused on the slidy verse riffs. I wasn't sure if Brent and Bill were playing the same riff or if one was playing octaves while the other played some diatonics or something. Either way this cleared it up for me cause i wasn't playing it this way. Thanks.
Hey, It finally surfaced! A long-awaited Mastodon cover! I remember playing guitar for like half a year and learning it. There was so much confusion with Bill's solo because Mastodon isnt really known for their use of guitar effects so ppl didnt know whether the notes are coming from delay or not, and theres just weird effect put on them (same situation with Fallen Torches where ppl didnt know that the middle clean part was on guitar) How do u like Fallen Torches? Keep up good work, rly looking forward to see more Mastodon
