These people who are hating aren't real metal fans....fact. The metal community is one of the most open and welcoming communities in music. Taking you away from the comforting arms of slayer for for a moment, if you like melodic metal style I am going to suggest 2 very different styles of metal 90's with brit band carcass and song heartwork, then more recent band Jinjer with song Pieces. @@jamesbishop4635 anything on YT with monetisation is to make money and if it's something you are interested in that they're making them all power to them. As far as the inclusive nature of metalheads, you have obviously been a part of a very different experience to me, see 40+yrs ago we welcomed others with open arms because we wanted the music to be heard, enjoyed and above all else piss tippa gore and her PMRC off with lyrics like those in slayers angel of death where the band were accused of glorifying nazi Germany 🫣. I don't know how old you are but our music is a thing of beauty, often intelligent and very historically accurate if you do some research, metal should be shared and heard by the masses because, well let's face it, it's better than listening to Taylor swift warbling about her latest break up with a low life 🤣. Also metal and hip hop are very similar in that they draw influences from real life society and social issues, I'm not a rap fan but I do quite like the metal songs mixed with rap artists, they mix well (maybe speak to anthrax about their lack of inclusivity 🤷🏻♀️) If you're not inclusive of bring new people in to hear metal and get enjoyment out of it then shame on you, the only way to ensure the survival of metal is to have listeners when those new people aren't allowed to come in because people like you slam the door shut, well then eventually metal dies with us. It's your move but realise this, if you keep the door closed on new listener's because they were into a different genre of music that you personally don't like then metal will disappear for future generations. In the 80's &90's we worked hard to show society that we as kids were just trying to enjoy our music like they did in the 50's and 60's with "Elvis the pelvis" being banned from TV waist down 🤣 and that we weren't devil worshippers. Can't believe people are are messing with you getting into and exploring metal. Ever since I discovered iron maiden in the early eighties, one of my biggest thrills has been playing music I've loved for decades for people who have never heard it before and watching the reactions. Not everyone gets it, but some do and i get to remember what it was to hear these songs for the first time when people react positively. To hell with the haters. Glad you are open to new music and I get a kick watching you react to the greatest music ever made. Good job and keep it up!!!!
South Of Heaven album slipped under the radar for a lot of folk but IMO - their third best album next to RIB & SITA. Upvote if you agree? (Upvotes help the channel anyway, so LOL)
I found Slayer as an opening band for Venom in SF 1985. I had never heard of them before, but it was obvious from the crowd that THIS was the band to follow. I remember when South of Heaven came out and was wildly unpopular with those early fans. However, I fell in love with it immediately.
Ah. Finally. You are reacting to the song that I have suggested to you as an introduction to Slayer right after discovering your channel back when you were just beginning with Metallica. AND you are doing the official video just as I have suggested as well! Nice choice, sir, nice choice. Some metal fans do go for all-out agression and - with Slayer being one of the heaviest bands in the early-mid 80s - it is probably no wonder that they love the band and sometimes want to have some fun by suggesting it to an unsuspecting Hip-Hop fan to see their reaction. But you have to appreciate the build and the atmoshpere. It really does transcend genres and, in my opinion, makes for a much more wholesome experience. Nice reaction btw as always. This one really did hit for me because, for the aforementioned reasons, I get to believe, that I have played a part and that you have actually listened. I do realize, that there are hundreds of people saying often exactly opposite things to you at all times. Just glad to break through the static for once ;D
And yes, anothe track that I have suggested from Slayer would be cool. 'Dead Skin Mask' from the same album as this one. Or, if you want something more wild, you could check out 'Dittohead'. 'Bloodline' is a really cool songs. They all have pretty good official video clips as far as I recall.
Ive seen slayer 3 times and got to see them on their last tour with Primus Ministry and Phil and the illegals. what a show wow and watching Tom stand there for ever watching and taking in all of us slayer demons in the crowd yelling Fing Slayer ill never forgot it.
I never thought I would enjoy seeing someone’s first reaction to one of my favorite bands, and as much as I love Dave and he technically is one of my teachers. You should hear his replacement on the divine intervention album.
Dude I hope your channel continues to grow because I can tell you appreciate badass music. I remember feeling the same way when I first heard this song/record. Like when it actually came out! Lol. Appreciate the appreciation for all these pioneers of Metal!
Imagine being 18 years old and you just happened to get 7th row seats at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. 1990 and bet your sweet ass is was absolutely the sickest Slayer concert ever. Im from Lafayette Indiana and I was so scared. Lmfao. It sounded just like the album. The first 10 rows was taped off. The pit was behind us and Ive still to this day have never seen a pit like that flow. Im almost 52 now. This is my favorite album of theirs. Much love youngster from the states!!
Dave Lombardo is one of my favorite drummers of all time. This song gives me a Black Sabbath vibe, and I love it. I highly recommend War Esemble which is another great song from this album. 🤘🔥
I’m very relieved at the end of the clip you said you weren’t going to read all the dead shit comments. These people forget that they discovered heavy metal in the comfort of their own bedroom where they sit there, listening to it whilst pleasuring themselves with their own fist. Watching you try to process heavy metal from where you’ve come from is an absolute delight to me and takes me back to the sureness, innocence and the absolute excitement of when you first heard that riff, or that solo, or even the double kick that hit you fair in the chest. Keep going young fella. I’m loving it.!!!!!!

I suggest Slayer songs South of Heaven, Repentless, Dead Skin Mask, Mandatory Suicide, Skelton of Society or Spill the Blood just to name a few greats by Slayer🤘 Please react to a band called hed pe, they're metal, punk, infused with hip hop, songs Renegade, Suffa, Killing Time, or Bartender. Thx & keep the great reactions coming.
The most amazing thing to me is that they actually filmed this video on the Giza Plateau
Maybe it's time to change the titles of your videos from Hip Hop fan reacts ... to Metalhead reacts...!You're on the right track with your choosings of songs!🤘😉
These reactions are great👍
Its like reliving my musical tastes from my teens and 20s(56 now) great to see a new era of listener getting into them 👍
OK it's time you experienced one of the most amazing vocalists in metal, but be prepared/open mind... JINJER is the band, PISCES (LIVE SESSION) is the song. Make sure you watch the official video that has about 82 million views... Jinjer is a popular band with reactions channels.
SOH isn’t as popular and a little different for Slayey but definitely on of my top albums from them too.
@@jjs3890 I must check out who Slayay are! 😂
I like Slayir
Hi, well come to the slayer group! Thanks for reacting! 💪🤟
War Ensemble from the same album - just check it.
This album was my intro into Slayer. Buddy of mine slipped the cassette into the jambox that sat atop of the half pipe. And the rest was history!
I am a 53 year old metalhead. I grew up on this shit. All I want to say is welcome to the fold. Fuck the haters!
For sure luke
Ive seen slayer 3 times and got to see them on their last tour with Primus Ministry and Phil and the illegals. what a show wow and watching Tom stand there for ever watching and taking in all of us slayer demons in the crowd yelling Fing Slayer ill never forgot it.
This whole album is a masterpiece from start to finish. It is perfect!
What's up MollyBoy. I'm really enjoying, going on this metal journey with you. Slayer fans are crazy....and you found sepultura... Right on🤘
Imagine being 18 years old and you just happened to get 7th row seats at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.
Love your reactions and I appreciate you actually listening to the music.
Dude, you’re eyes and laser focus the first time you watched the solo, priceless! 🙌
The small venue I got to see them at was Ziggy's in Winston Salem NC, I got autographs from all of the band members it was one of the best concerts I ever attend in my life man.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I knew you'd like this one! The drums bro, the drums. Dude was going ballistic back there!
Dave Lombardo is my favourite drummer of all time and this tune is one of the first I learned to play on guitar🤘🏻
I love slayer and i'm so happy you do too
The drum fills in this song are some of the best ever.
Correction...they ARE the best fills ever
You know when something is going to happen..and when it does its bliss 😂😂😂❤
Slayer have always just mesmerized me with their playing ability. It’s not human, it’s almost supernatural the way they play.
When I hear this song and I am at home, I have an intense urge to pick up the guitar or bass and play along. Seasons in the Abyss is probably my fav Slayer album. We actually played this song as a surprise to my brother once who arranged a gig for us at a venue that ended up being our favourite place to play. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to this one
Managed to see original line up live. When they played this it was an amazing experience. Great reaction 🤘🏻
Forget the gamers bro. Old school slayer fan here appreciates your work young fella. Keep exploring and going for it.
This is my third show of yours to watch and I love them all😊 I'm a little older lol love Slayer for a long time. Wanted to share that Slayer vs. Metallica Slayer is not played on radio hardly ever in my time rare midnight shows played Slayer on rare radio... always have been a Slayer fan.. appreciate your videos I definitely have enjoyed.... thank you... Kevin Colorado
I think they won an award for this video.
"Seasons..." maybe is my favorite Slayer song. All the speedchanges - Jeffs look during the solo - the video - everything on point.
Another of my favorites would be "World Painted Blood", because of it's "driving" riff. Same with "Repentless"...
Ride the lightning is probably one of my favorite albums in whole but Slayer?!? All time favorite band! Lmao, had to come back and edit. Hypnotizing starts at 7:24 and completely entranced from 8:03 to 9:03, love it. If you get a chance check out some Megadeth particularly from the Rust in Peace album.
Ignore the haters mate, us in the metal community are a good bunch, and I like the fact that you have said metal music goes a lot deeper than just noise, I like your reactions, keep it up mate!
Nice one ☝️ you are just scratching the surface of Slayer , this one brings back memories when I left school when this came out , nice to see people listening to slayer now and still. Try listing to silent scream , form south of heaven that’s fast , 👍👍plus your head wants to head bang more when you listen to slayer
Here's a little tip when listening to Slayer. Jeff Hanneman always comes out of the left speaker, & Kerry King always comes out of the right. Except on the 94 album Divine Intervention, where they switch.
Been waiting for you to hear this fuckn masterpiece. In fact this album is a must listen from start to finish. Easily my favorite album from SLAYER!!!
This album and the one right before are just two full albums of some of the best metal riffs ever.
This is the song that first got me into Slayer. When it first debuted on the Headbangers Ball on MTv, I was blown away! I had to listen to more. Check out their song “Dead Skin Mask” off this same album!
Prime slayer right here damn!!! So bloody good. Great reaction lad keep up the good work mate you are part of the blessed now
