I still think the Year 4 and 5 events had the best survivor items. The clean black and gold color scheme and the cool flash light symbol in the beam was amazing.
I love those outfits, have they ever re-released them? The party hat halos were given with a code so everyone got them all, but the gold and black outfits i've never seen come back. I only know about the ones for claudette and deathslinger.
Agreed. I remember I used it before and I couldn’t tell where it put the survivor because they were under me. I wish you could choose which hook though.
i love this year's event. - it's a separate queue so people are not forced to play it (but why wouldn't you?) - the character of Tryks adds so much charme with her randomly popping up and spouting some nonsense -the skills and bag of tryks add a fun side hussle - Bloodpoints, oh so much bloodpoints - the free Set for the Unknown is really cool looking

Honestly I'd of preferred exposed to remote hook, least that had counter play with flashlights and stuns, remote hook literally has no counterparts an arguably is worse for the game than when survivors had instablind flashlights, when are the devs going to learn insta anything is not good for the games health

The remote hooking, remote pallet breaking without being locked into animation and the constant aura's speed boosts and silent tryks make this by far the most killer sided dbd has ever been, pallet saves, boil over plays, flip flop plays, flashy saves, sabo plays all are completely worthless and so many killers this event ran lightborne on top of it making it pretty much just a gen rush n get out if u can event for survivors. I ended up playing almost no survivor after first week of event, as its just not fun with way killers have been playing and with what i mentioned above. I even tried to discuss it with community with screenshots and evidences of how i can 2 hook all survivors, let them escape and still walk away with 2 - 3x their bps. But was flamed to hell and back by KiLlEr MaInS, even with proof, all they care about is slugging n tunneling, even had several people tell me they do it on purpose to deny survivors any bps. For once i'll be glad when this event ends.

When playing survivor, I've experienced more tunnelling and slugging in this event than you would expect to find in the normal game and as killer the amount of people giving up at first hook is again, more than normal. People are just desperate for those BP I guess
Just my opinion but The twist masquerade event would have been wayy better if it had the Chaos Shuffle Perks. It's so annoying watching all the sweats go into the mode bringing broken and obnoxious builds when the requirements to get the rewards this time don't even involve killing/escaping.

so the event works with anytime a survivor gets a fresh hook a gen pops it goes towards the even marker on the top left of your screen, every 2 of those marks a new thing happens
After being around after the 5th anniversary event happened, I hope next year's anniversary event isn't another Masquerade. Don't get me wrong, the newest Masquerade event is nice but the theme is getting a bit repetitive (and also if they aren't going to give my boi Jake a mask, what's the point?) Also I feel the event game mode is a little bit Killer sided, remote hooking just eliminates flashlight saves and pallet saves for the most part and looping any sort of pallet is unsafe because the killer can just break it with their mind. What do survivors get in this game mode? Uh, they can loot a chest every now and then to get an event item... They can create a pallet that is easy for the killer to play around even before the killer activates their enduring ability... They get randomly exposed for no reason, yeah that effect also heals them but chances are the only time they're injured is during chase and what good is being healed if you're still instadownable unless the killer is playing Nurse. Blocking windows for around 5 seconds is kinda cool but isn't very helpful most of the time and Quiet Mode is probably the only practical thing Survivors get but if the killer sees you and has object permanence then it isn't too helpful (also I'm unsure if this works but the DBDWiki doesn't say anything about if Quiet Mode hides your aura so you can put on a decent aura reading perk to help against Quiet Mode.) Quiet Mode can also be a bit of a hassle because it can activate when you're trying to use other effects like blocking windows or placing pallets and that's kind of annoying. I want them to do a more general event so that maybe I have a chance to get those really cool looking Anniversary Med-Kits and Flashlights.
Oh man I remember checking the game, if I finally got the red trim leather hoodie for Meg, because I always wanted the street meg outfit and I remember being so obsessed with it! :D

Tbh i dont really care about anniversary game Mode, all I really care is skin discounts and half the price for each perk on shrine that rotate each day. The anniversary I only play it to Rush and grind the challanges, once I got the challange, just get killed, next challange, next game, once finished, never again play the anniversary Mode.
@@MrRamos8408 that anniversary mode its not DBD, so I only play it for the challanges, get them done, and never return to that mode, get back to the normal good ole DBD, to the contrary, for me, the game doesnt need these crazy wacky gamemodes, for me its decent as it is, I only care on anniversary for all the sales and discounts.

yeah i think they look the best, i like how flashlight looks after year 5, but not a fan of toolboxs and medkits.

Since the masquerade the anniversaries feel recycled and not unique. The only unique thing is the bloodpoint offering.
