Hey everyone! I just wanted to ask you a quick question: Is the editing in the video too little/too much? Thanks :)
Perfect amount
The editing is really well done
Just like other guy said, perfect amount.
The music is a bit too loud but other than that ur edit skill are fine
@@zizou__uoziz7669 no it's the right amount, anything lesser than that is basically no music..
I really miss the old visual design of the Haddonfield. Nowadays it feels like regular Unreal Engine 5 map.
I like both old and current design.
The current design has a lot of references to the original film and design of houses is done better.
And with the old design, it's just a feeling of nostalgia.
@@Leandralan Old haddonfield felt like real street and new one is more like just a square with some houses and road. That's the problem for me.
@@PATRULIST womp womp
New Haddonfield is just boring asf, almost all the pallets are dogwater + there's not many pallets either + it's pretty small now.
Just trying to slowly make all maps killer sided ig
Keep crying it’s karma for the double window yall loved for a min now
Even as a killer main, it sucks to play on since there is basically no challenge, and the map is brainless to play. The problems with the previous version of Haddonfield was that the road was empty and the houses were pretty OP against most killers. They just made the houses 90% trash, and added the worst pallets in the game to “balance” it, as well as make it one of the smallest and most open and 3-gen prone maps in the game
Womp womp
2021: SWF sends Haddonfield to win
2024: Killer sends Haddonfield to win
The thing that sucks the most for me is how the map doesn't give me Halloween vibes at all. It just feels like a generic suburb map you'd see in any horror game with one
Them making this map a KILLER sided map in the latest update is insane
So, it's ok to keep it survivor sided?
@@Khoobus never said it was, hope this helps!
@rigbo6435 It does. Thanks. Also, sorry for being a douch. I just had a bad match on that map as slinger.
@@Khoobus you’re good :)
Haddonfield is a bit of a sad story tbh. It was probably the most unique map in the game's history, nothing else has had that same sense of urban density that it had pre-rework. I'd really like something similar to it in the future, just better balanced. Maybe something like a city block or another neighbor street.
Ahhhh my favourite map, Haddonfield bro...
Hyuehyuehyuehyuehyue
Ahhhhhhhhhhh my favorite map
ĤÆĂĂĀÆĄĄÆ
I always wish that these old maps and, in turn, offerings, were available in only custom games. Keep old Haddonfield out of the usual map list for typical play, but why not let players go to old Haddonfield / Autohaven / Coldwind / whatever else with Moon Bouquets in customs? That's between you and your friends.
Devs probably dont want to maintain them, at one point the maps would be unplayable becaude of the bugs the devs wouldnt path
Completely forgot about bugs being able to affect old things, that makes a lot of sense.
@@sangamefan7084If a map goes untouched they will not have bugs it’ll be the same forever. If it gets bugs that means the map coding was touched.
Like the other commenter said, it’s hard to convert and maintain older UE maps to newer iterations because of all the possible bugs and spaghetti code DBD already has. Not to mention how the lighting might be totally different with how much the game has changed since then
@@Mr.DoYaThing That has nothing to do with it. Do you code? Let me know. If they don’t touch the map and the map is left untouched then there will be no bugs. Don’t reply back because I’m not reading it.
Id like if they added a second street, like badham, where it isnt just one continuous street. An L shaped street like the prototype. Like the corner house could be the one laurie sits on with her pumpkin to wait for tommy.
It would also be good to thin the street out because its way too big, it's supposed to be a suburbs street.
Maybe add a construction site between a house and the playground between another so it isnt just continuous houses.
You are my favorite new RUclipsr your videos are so interesting damn ❤
Well i started playing DBD in january of 2021, but i know about the game since july 2017. On that time i only watch gameplays and i always feel that haddonfield was a really cool map, also when i started playing Dead By Daylight and i didn't have so much hours invested on the game, i considered Haddonfield as an okay map. However 1 and 2 months later i started hating this map, because i start feeling the map like the hell itself, i remember the map to be a extreme pain for me.The Myers house, the house of pain, the endless and large fences on the corners of the house, the amount of powerful pallets and windows make me develop a terrible hate to the map. When someone burn an offering to go to Haddonfield i would know that was going to be the worst day of my entire week playing the game. Most of the time i ended up screaming or making dc, because it was impossible to play that map. Also when the new matchmaking came out the situation go to another point, i remember some survivors burning the offering of Haddonfield. Nowadays i have a neutral opinion on Haddonfield because is not a bad, honestly i like the ambience of the map, but i will like if the devs make the map more darker. To this day on most of the tier list, Haddonfield is put on the B or C tier. But if you go to the maps tier list of years like 2019, 2020 and begins, middle and ends of 2021, you would see that Haddonfield was one of the worst rated maps of all time.
If someone plays nowadays DBD and looks the actual Haddonfield and thinks that map is bad or okay, i will say to him: " you are lucky to play this new version of Haddonfield. Because the people who we play during 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, we know how the old Haddonfield actually was and why was considered the same door to hell".
bro wtf whos gonna read this
Haha true, but there's a lot to say about Haddonfield
How the turns have tabled…
Crazy how they reworked the best map in the game to become the worst but the game is still fine with about quarter of a billion pallets, great work bhvr, pretty good job so far 😂
Yay early today 🎉
I started playing dbd in 2021 and have never gotten to play on old Haddonfield but really hope someday bhvr will revive some of the old features it had 😩
When I started playing DbD, Haddonfield was my favorite map from visual and vibe point of view. I liked old blue filter so much that I was the only killer, who willingly send themself at this map. I didn't understand how obnoxious old Haddonfield was, so, bless me, I guess
the more i look at this game the more im shocked how bad the lighting has gotten, from no shadows on the ground from objects, to a overly bright gamma which counters the horror aspect, it's a downgrade in them regards.
yeah basically all of the horror and eerieness is gone
The realm beyond updates were a mistake imo, they completely gutted the atmosphere of the maps in favor of realism
I don’t think it’s the most hated map. I kinda like that map.
it is the most hated + the worst map in the game, so bad people would rather play in swamp over haddonfield. That's how bad it is.
Haddonfield went from unique/great to bland/worse to bland/terrible. The map as it stands to day is super small, terrible pallets and a huge ass road in the middle. They should have touched lightly up up on the gfx and removed the worst offenders in terms of loops and kept the size of the original map. Look how many killers can teleport or something like it today vs then. Map size is not really the issue anymore, yet they keep shrinking everything. Next chapter we will fight inside a barrel.
went from the most survivor sided map to pretty shit for both sides to arguably the most killer sided map 😭
Old haddonfield was at least fun ( not all the time obsl but I had some fun ) the current one is very boring and not so fun
I mean, it wasnt that fun. But that was an easy fix. Simply give the big bushes a special collision with survivors, but not for killers. Then the amount of pseudo-infinites would be reduced by 80%, and add a breakable door or 2 onto the main building so survivors could not have stagger infinites thanks to the 2 windows.
That was literally all that was needed.
God loops are not fun
@@DragonOnCoke7299no they aren’t fun but the map had personality and it was appealing to look at it. In addition it was unique and had cool interactions on both sides. It honestly only needed tweaking not a whole change.
@@DragonOnCoke7299there's literally perks to counter loops
Haddonfield ftw. New better than old.
what mapp is the most hated now?
back then ya said it was rpd now is haddonfield?
I love your voice
Old Haddonfield not fun for Killer
New Haddonfield not fun for Surv
Maybe some tweak can help
Outside pallets are literally useless and 3 gen on myers house to strong
Fun fact the Halloween chapter was released on my birthday. I didn’t start playing until 2021 between pinhead and mikeala which was rlly close to my bday as well
I started playing in November of 2016, maybe several days after Halloween chapter was released, and Haddonfield was my first ever played map, and holy crap i was bricking my pants when i was hiding from Michael, repairing generators turning around gave me so much paranoia i started using Premonition :D
ta mapa jest daremna dla graczy solo, jak tylko na nią trafiam zabijam się na pierwszym możliwym haku
I hate more the swamp maps then haddonfield...
why hello sashko ;)
and they some how made it worse, i miss the old one more ngl the current one doesn't feel like it at all
I loved OG Haddonfield I i had fun as both killer and survivor the new one too small for mostly any fun.
Haddonfield - это как Болгария. Как её не меняй, все равно такое себе. 😂
I am on 6:52 🎉🎉🎉
Every further iteration of haddonfield continues to baffle me with how bad it is. I prefer the older version (circa 2021~) simply because it had some interesting loops that both players could play around, even though the thing was still horrible as killer. It's one of those things I tend to mention that I dislike about BHVR: their habit of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Haddonfield needed reworking, yes. But then they made from an interesting map to a map where it's just three stripes: the outer ones being survivor-sided loops that are a nightmare to play as killer, the inner stripe being a wasteland devoid of anything safe for survivor, resulting in killer-sided stuff.
Now?
The entire thing is like a tiny nugget of what it used to be, and to top it off the thing is somehow majority wasteland making the map ludicrously killer-sided now.
I genuinely don't understand what is wrong with the map team these days, but nearly every map rework and the past few new maps have been genuinely the most dogwater I have ever seen in my entirety of playing this game. It boggles the mind, and I do not feel bad saying that they need to be fired if they don't shape up quick.
Damn 444 likes i dont wanna ruin that
Old map was really survivor sided, now it's really killer sided
More balanced*
@@HexCuntressno, it's definitely killer sided now
@@HexCuntress balanced bruh? the map is really small now and there are almost no pallets now and no good loops either. it is killer sided now
@@HexCuntress😂
I fucking hate new alien map
Haddonfield is now 3 to 4 gen for the killers now every match. Palets are dogshit and there are only few of them. Every House get nerf.
I think that they just few nerfs was ok but they litteraly nerf everything
The new changes are not good. The entire maps loops are weak
It’s been getting worse and more killer sided especially with the last update. With the 2 windows it was playable as survivors but now what are those pallets on edge map😅 against nurse or why else would someone run there..
Has Haddonfield ever just not been awful and horribly balanced?
They dont know how to do maps anymore evidently
new haddonfield is absolutely horrendous i hate it more than any other map in the game pallets are shit no windows no cover bad gen placement too ez for killer. Also the atmosphere is sunshine and rainbows not shittin my pants scary
It's crazy that the only issue with this map were 4 man swf bringing a map offering and abusing balanced landing and instead of deleting map offerings from the game they went ahead and made it the worst map in the game for survivors
I hate how they got rid of some houses now the Myers house just looks bear bones. Boring AF. And there are WAY too many cars on the street, it makes no sense for a small neighborhood. It would make more sense for a city or something. They gutted my visually favorite map
I miss it as survivor. Killer.. no 😂
I loved the remastered Haddonfield. It actually looks like a street instead of some weird looking white empty houses.
I hate it now because one side is just the main and it looks and feels so awkward
Old haddonfield (april 2022 - march 2024) was a bit more balanced for me, it had god loops as well as dead zones now we are only left with dead zones
Miss the old atmosphere of the old map even if the map itself was problematic balance wise. If am I honest most of the maps look really bland nowdays compared to the original designs.
New Haddonfield is just a small disappointing playing field tbh. Its one of my favorite atmospheric maps but the gens are literally right next to each other lol
I really hate Haddonfield. Every version of it.
But imma be honest, the old atmosphere was reeeeally spooky...
the aliens map sucks way more. soulless boring map
Haddonfield worst map? Nah just a rumor.
The most hated map is RPD lmao
Unpopular opinion: MacMillan is the most boring realm.
Also my most hated map is Shelter Woods.
haddonfield has been the most hated map since it released. for the first like 6 years of dbd's lifespan if the survivors sent you to this map as killer it was an auto-lose so obviously killers despised it. and then for like a yearish it was actually an okay map. and now it's the weakest survivor map and absolutely awful to play on as survivor. it's just so shit.
The scaling of the furniture and appliances has bothered me since the map got reworked. A very nitpicky criticism but I can’t get over it whenever I play on it.
Thank god to the licence holders to dismiss shack
Survivor complained about this map 😂. Like when killers complained, you guys just laughed and said that it was ok. Karma at its finest 😂
I miss the old version of Haddonfield. This latest version is absolute dogshit.
The real issue with current Haddonfield is the size of it. It is way too small, and there are way too few looping locations available for survivors, quite ironic, considering how it used to be the #1 most survivor sided map at one point.
But yes, it is horribly imbalanced in its current state, due to the small size, the random pallet spawns, especially in the street (which is much too wide anyways), the huge dead-zones all over and way too many unsafe windows.
In all honesty, BHVR should go back to the drawing board with Haddonfield, and take the OG version, update it to modern standards, and retain the larger size. This is especially with high mobility killers in mind, like Blight, Wesker and Nurse, who has the easiest time of their lives on the current version. I see way too many 4K's at 3 or more gens for it to be balanced.
Hell, even basic M1 killers like Trapper can easily 4K on this map, and that is definitely telling something
Brotha eeugghhhhhh
All graphic updates I do not like as much.
It's currently the most awful map in the game. It's just f'n tiny, the devs went insane here with their stupid obsession to make every map tiny small. It is disgusting and plays awful.
i used to run balanced on haddonfield 😭😭
I miss the original haddonfield
No lie, as a Michael Myers main, I love this map! It's my favorite!
Miguel
As broken as old haddonfield was I miss its design. The current map looks nothing like it does in the movie and it doesn’t even look like a neighbor hood at all. Like why the hell is the street the size of a highway?? No neighborhood has a street THAT big
The atmosphere and lighting of the old haddonfield were 10x better and the new haddonfield is just so boring gameplay wise and graphics wise
Gameplay wise, old Haddonfield was awfull but it use to look way better. The thing that bugs me the most on current Haddonfield is the size of the midle road : why is there a f* autobahn in the midle ?
I hate the lack of the dark and the lack of the fog... Why is everything so annoyingly bright...
Hope they revert it back to how it was, the new version is way too killer sided... and I'll only throw on that map...every...single...time. won't survive anyways, so why not just throw all your matches for 7 hours. To make so ,any 3v1 matches now. 😂😂😂
they will never revert it back to the old version.
:(
You noob
Honestly? Still prefer Haddon over Swamp. And yes it's entirely bias
