There was a huge brouhaha where he had a warrant for not registering a vehicle, the police tried to serve the warrant and he wouldn't answer the door, it ended up a two-hour standoff with SWAT involved. When he finally came out he said he was asleep the whole time. Now the insurance companies are coming after him for insurance fraud and the feds for income tax violations. I don't think Sheriff Mina can save him this time.
