Yes, you’re allowed to work part time on SSD. SSD actually doesn’t give you enough to make ends meet. My mother had a massive heart attack at 43 while she worked for the state. She also had by that point diabetes and lupus, which runs in our family. Shortly after her massive heart attack, where her heart stopped for two minutes, she had gotten very bad pneumonia and kidney failure with an extremely high fever. Even with having worked 20 years for the state when she had to retire due to that heart attack, she barely got enough to make ends meet.. we almost ended up homeless. She had to find a part time job. But, on SSD you’ve got to be extremely careful to not go over your hours you’re allowed to work or they’ll cut your SSD suddenly; without warning.

He will even with how rought they are now come conviction time they beg for a deal he might get like 2 years in prison because its misdiminor, and be out again doing it again. This shit really should be a felony. I got convicted SO in my family his first case he plead guilt got 2 years probation for it. Broke his probation got caught in texas given max sentance and it was just a few years, and judge flat out said he wished he could give him more. He tried to sue the judge for that comment to, but no court would take that case and threw it out when he tried to sue the court, then tried to sue the prison for being "mean" to him. Its like you plead guilty to trying to trying to sleep with the neighbor girl sweet jesus you should be treated like shit rest your life, and that was just FIRST time some one press charges.
Like I got autism so stuff slid by me, but when I was kid my sister had friends over and one them use to wake me up to make me go with her to the kitchen to get water and begged I wait outside the bathroom once whiel she used it in middle night I had no damn clue why the hell she did that till a few years later when a bunch stopped comming aroudn and one finally told me directly my father was making them "uncomftable" if he caught them alone in the house. Like every one stopped coming over till he became a truck driver when I was in high school second word got out he was comming home, just poof all my sisters friends would vanish and refuse to come over. Same deal with my female cousins.
Like it was neighbor girl they came over one time to swim in our pool at my sister's b-day party, and my dad creeped out the girls younger sister so bad they never came back. Then when older one turned 18 she came forward pressed charges on him, for stuff he did when she was under 18. Like I don't get how these kind people get away so long with it. I mean they dropped charges, making me thing parents probally did it, like they thrive on the victims not wanting to talk about it, or "make a big deal."
I stayed freidns with her little sister use to Nanny for her and ran into the one who pressd charges even 36 she was still really messed up because after he tried to sleep with her he blamed her calling her a tease, and saying it was all her fault. Like she finally told me that in her 30s and its liek huh that is why last two years high school you went from sweaters and hiding your body, to going all out. She got told this whiel she was ashemed her body and hid it with baggy clothes because she had little bit of wieght to her. And afterwards she just had even more complicated time with her body image. Like 2 years she wore shit too small for her because well she was accused being a tease anyways. But at 36 she was full blown obese with just awfull self-image issues and still that day his words to her were stuck in her head.
And foudn out he touched my sister only once we know of, and she had her mind literally fracture. She has muiltiple personalities and the oldest ones are all permantly 14 the year he fucked her up. Like they carry that trauma for her, but she turning 38 this year, and 100% mentally disabled and just broken because what he did to her broke her mind and no one caught it till she was 20 because she let the other alters carry that trauma and tried pretend it never happened.

We are having to jump through so many hoops, denials, hoops, denials. It's been 4 YEARS of us fighting for social security disability yet this predator gets it and likely hasn't paid much, if anything, into social security. It is infuriating. I don't know the laws, but I would hope that once he's convicted and sentenced to prison that he no longer receives ANY govt. assistance.

Here’s a tip from someone who also became disabled and was denied the first time I applied for it. My disability was becoming mostly bedridden from a disastrous failed back surgery. What the government needed to see in order to approve it was my records from my psychiatrist that showed that I was also suffering from major depression because of my disability (I had even tried to take my life a few times). I also have a lot of issues with maintaining focus/concentration because of my 24/7 debilitating chronic pain.
Your husband has to prove that there really isn’t any kind of job he can do in order to get approved for it, so that means that the government needs to see a diagnosis that affects not just his physical state, but also his mental/emotional state that would prevent him from working. He needs letters from his doctors that explain these things.
I didn’t need a lawyer to get approved - I just went in to the Social Security office with my mother on the second attempt, and the worker there made it clear what was required and helped us fill out the paperwork the second time around.
      Hope that helps!

Why the fuck even argue it? Your honor, my client was a free man for 4 years after committing his crime so clearly he should be allowed to continue to be free.

It's more that they're drawn to it like moths to a flame. Narcissists deal with reality by rewriting their subjective experience of it then trying to force everyone else to agree with it. The sovcit narrative is perfect for them because they get to keep the privileges and entitlement but refuse all the responsibility. It's all in their heads of course but that rarely matters to a narcissist.

But I got SO into little girls in my family they spend all day in protective custody in prison even guards hate them. Like he tried to sue the judge because he got slap on wrist protbation thein while breakign got caught again but kids parent dropped charges so judge gave him max prison time for his previous charge he was on probation for. He sued the judge over that, and it was thrown out, then tried to sue the prison system for being "too mean" as even guards mistreated him. Its like fuck they should just "accidentally" put you in gen pop and had a camera outage sigh...
