"There's have a perfectly capable person standing next to you who spent as much time in law school as you did in third grade." ... man that burn was sweet.
Funny. He was actually saying those words as I read your comment.
To be clear, many such people are in third grade until they turn 18 and "graduate" from "skool."

Basically Darrell Brooks his entire trial.

@@AxelLaw I find whole concept of SovCits fun to watch just like flat earthers. Maybe cause I'm old my view on role of Judge is different than yours. Court should be place of dignity, serious atmosphere of justice and it is in most cases. Judge should never use word "a**" while preforming his duty. This behavior is degrading to him as a person and institution itself.
@AxelLaw he does have a point. I've seen defendents get 60 days in jail for cursing in court. Either everyone can or nobody can
@@CreamPolo what rule book did you see that in? Just because you personally believe that a particular word is inappropriate doesn't make it so. You have some serious entitlement. You must be MAGA.

Thank You Judge Oakley.
Love the judge. Don’t mess around. To the point!!!
This judge needs to write the book on how to deal with sovereign citizens..... I salute this guy!
Judge: "Do you understand the words I'm saying?"
SovCit: "Yus, but--"
Judge: "So you're deliberately refusing to follow court rules, I'm finding you in contempt of court, good day."
It should be that easy.
Yeah, but then they complain about the word understand. It's very hard to talk to people who deliberate misuse the English language.
Is "You're in contempt, take him to jail" court slang for Foxtrot Oscar?
But then they don't learn anything. the judged are trying to get through to them. Believe it or not some judges try to find the good in people. Might happen when you're choosing the fate of so many lives all day for a job, or you become a megalomaniac and don't care at all about people. And there's no in between
@@toolittletoolate 30 days in jail is a good long time to think about what you did wrong, it's like when you ground your children but for adults, but this is exactly how you're supposed to treat people who think they're too special to follow the law, they have also access to books that can help them understand actual law while they serve their time while at the same time keep them away from the internet that corrupted their weak minds.
@@610Hobbies There is, of course, some risk that he will be received as a surviving martyr in jail and receive gifts of further "wisdom" to steer him more permanently into the spiny shoals of legal legal procedure when he next surfaces on the record.
The judge’s use of coarse language was entirely appropriate. If you’re trying to make someone understand what you are saying, the best course of action is to use a vernacular that they will have no trouble deciphering. The defendant THINKS he knows all the best words, and does his best to SOUND like he knows what he’s talking about, but as usual, his stunning case of Dunning/Kruger is so severe as to completely blind him to reality. The judge wholly understands his audience in this case, and did his best to communicate with him in a language he can easily understand. Defendant Dipshit is utterly clueless, no doubt fantasizing about how much money his frivolous appeal/lawsuit is going to bring him. One hopes he will have an epiphany and realize just how wrong he is, but I think that hope is misplaced.
He knew his audience.
Judge sounds like Gen. George S Patton , when I want my men to understand me I give it to them loud and dirty so they remember it!!😂

@@lisawatson9570 Not a case but a condition.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities.
I'm not sure I agree. I think there is a level of decorum that a judge should maintain, even when he has a crazy defendant.
We need more judges like him 😂😂😂
Darrell brooks wouldnt have lasted 5 minutes with this judge.
Anyone that pulls this BS should be immediately found in criminal contempt and sent to jail
Rubber hose in a quiet works,too.......just sayin.
This judge is a good judge that doesn't take 💩 tough in the courtroom and gets it done
SovCits get away with this 1) cuz cops and judges aren’t prepared 2) officials get drawn into arguing and explaining obvious points. I keep track of the few officials that actually handle SovCidiots properly. Oakley is now on the list!
All of this is a By product of Trump and his "press conferences" every time he exits a courtroom.
That's how they do it in Alberta, Canada. Anybody adopting these arguments is automatically assumed to be abusing the court and operating in bad faith.

This is exactly what judges need to with these sovereign citizens. Throw them in jail if they won’t shut up and move on. Do they really think they are more knowledgeable than a judge?
That's not the point. Their strategy is to delay as long as possible by spouting nonsense and causing a ruckus as much as possible. They know the courts and police have bigger fish to fry so they try to be as irritating as humanly possible and hope their charges get dropped. Of course 1 or 2% actually believe this bs, maybe more. One other thing I'd like to see is, when someone is asked a basic question and they say "I don't understand," they should be declared incompetent to represent themselves. If they lack basic understanding of the law, the facts, or general logic and language, they shouldn't be allowed to stand in court.
