@@waltlock8805 ....That's a misleading statement. Yes, in 28 states it's technically legal for a judge to not be a bar certified lawyer however in all 28 states those judges are only allowed to hear misdemeanor cases and all 28 states also have laws that if you are sentenced to jail for a misdemeanor by a non bar certified judge then you instantly get a new trial with a judge that is a bar certified attorney. These non lawyer judges in those 28 states are most typically known as a Justice of the Peace and no state has allowed one to actually preside over a criminal trial in over 30 years. ( The last state to do so was Montana in 1992 where a judge sentenced a woman to 5 days in jail for a misdemeanor DUI ). She got a new trial by an actual bar certified judge and...drumroll......still was found guilty again and went to jail for 5 days.

You are missing the entire point. They WANT to represent themselves precisely because a real lawyer is not going to present all the double talk that they they do, and a real lawyer is not going to set out with the deliberate intent to make a mockery of the court proceedings. Their main weapon in these proceedings is the flapping of their jaws without the intent to actually say anything pertinent in order to produce as much RUclips content possible to entertain the miscreants who follow his/her channel. THIS JUDGE cut this crap short repeatedly (which the all judges should do but in most cases do not) and when the idiot would not desist sent him to jail (which the all judges ALSO should do but in most cases do not).

@@Seigensi I hope so. Maybe for President Trump. We ought share this video with him, he’d be on his fast track for being appointed to a federal bench.

Every judge in this country should be REQUIRED to take classes from this man! Our CJ system would be much better if judges actually RAN THEIR COURT ROOM! He explains when it is justified and cut thru all the BS! I applaud him!

Yes! There should be a zero tolerance policy for these idiots nationwide. If they shut up and let their lawyer talk fine let the dice fall were they may but if they want to peddle that sovcit crap then it's off to jail after the first warning :D

That was too high profile case to give a room for appeal and also no threat of contempt or fine. It is good that it showed sovcits how their delusion don't work in court, his subject matter jurisdiction is set for 1047 years

These idiots were around before the internet with mailing lists, ads in backs of conspiracy magazines etc. victims of hucksters pushing dubious tax scams. I even remember one prodigiously stupid sovcit called Ray Karczewski on usenet well before the web or social media and he would constantly whine that his court antics turned misdemeanors into felony charges. But there is no doubt the internet gives them ways to amplify their idiocy and reach out.
