The answer is so simple. You can walk, run, ride a horse, fly, take a bus … any number of things without driving. Your right to travel is NOT being impeded.

How come none of these idiots bother to look up what the Supreme Court said about driving? In 1976 they clearly and plainly said driving is a privilege not a right. If they want to argue a right to travel the judge can ask them to point to any Supreme Court ruling that says traveling and driving are the same action exclusively. 3rd in Balen V South Carolina a Sovereign Citizen took their traveling not driving argument to the Supreme Court. They laughed and refused to hear the case. Every single one of their arguments was in that case. No jurisdiction, traveling is a right etc. He was found guilty by a local court and appealed it all the way to the Supreme Court without a single higher court hearing it because it's based on complete and total ignorance and misinterpretation of the law.

Was going to say the same thing. I have argued my rights to walk on the King's Highway at any time.
If I want to wear all black in the middle of the night then it up to me to understand that cars may kill me and it is my duty to make myself seen or get off the roadway.
In protest I may lawfully walk in the road without arrest as long as I do not attempt to stop in the road.
You can not stop the King's Highway from moving so at walking pace you are indeed travelling.
Our motorways( Freeways) wete deliberately never classed as Queen's Highway and have not converted to King's Highway. They are only open to certain types of motorised vehicle. Horses, pedestrians, disability scooters, and mopeds are banned by law.
So our laws are similar, I can travel anywhere within the 4 Countries, without official ID or licence. Clearly I need a ferry to visit Northern Ireland.

I was on a jury with such a fool. It was a lawsuit and he was asking for $50,000 for an auto acident. The other counsel offered him $20,000 in closing arguments. I suggested to the rest of the jury that we award only $10,000 plus jury fees as he had pissed us all off so much during the trial. The entire jury agreed with me within 30 seconds of deliberation. The award barely covered repair bills but no damages, no medical and NOT to pay the jury fees.

As an observer from across the pond, I've deduced that the Constitution does state that citizens have the right to travel unhindered between states....on foot, horseback, bicycle etc, etc, but if you drive a motor vehicle, you have to abide by the road traffic laws. So you need a licence, registration and insurance. Wisconsin V Brookes demonstrates that this sort of "word salad" doesn't hold up in court.

My answer to them is they absolutely do have a right to travel, but if they want to operate a motor vehicle in order to travel, then the need a license, registration, and insurance on this mechanical instrument of travel. If they want to travel by foot, roller skates, pogo stick, or bus/train/airplane they can do it all they want. None of those decisions have anything to do with motor vehicles.

Well, I have seen videos where sovcits refuse to pay tolls because that impedes their right to travel.
They just want everyone else to pay for the transportation infrastructure which included public transportation. There seem to be people out in the world who work full time finding situations where a person is expected to do anything, like learning to do something, like operating a motor vehicle, then taking a test do demonstrate you know the rules that apply to operating a motor vehicle and can safely operate something that can easily be converted into a deadly weapon.
For those people who don’t want or need to operate a motor.vehicle, like people in Manhattan who often do not even own or lease a motor vehicle for their personal transportation, the Gurus work to find ways to make their constituents feel like they can do anything with absolutely no cost or obligation to themselves. Some people simply never mature from their teens where they are expected to challenge authority of any kind as a phase in becoming an adult. That phase should teach people who does and doesn’t have authority over them and how they recognize that authority.
Police have the authority, and the duty, to enforce the laws equally. No one can opt out of being subject to whatever laws they don’t think should apply to them.

The Wikipedia articles state the primary issue of the the case. He must be reading from the text of the decision, just not the important part; you know, the part that addresses what the case is actually about.

He seems to not have the most basic education to even be able to reason or form a coherent thought.

I read the wikipedia article and I understand it just fine. This man is too smooth brained to have any grasp of the words he was reading. You need at LEAST a 6th grade vocabulary to understand the case. I can tell you exactly what all these cases are about and what was decided, with perhaps a 3%-4% amount of inaccuracy. That's what wikipedia does, it gives one enough knowledge to be common, not a specialist. This man? Mentally restarded.

It was pretty funny to see him stammering over his notes! Print out crap from the internet, don’t read it, go to court as an ignoramus.

This man just held up a copy of a Wikipedia page to a judge. My teachers back in junior high wouldn't even except that as a valid source when doing school work.

He can barely stumble his way through this "defense." I wonder how it will turn out?

He definitely has reading and comprehension difficulties. Add his delusions about the law and himself and that's one disastrous mix. 💣

I feel so sorry for the judges, lawyers, and police who are exposed to these loopy nitwits all the time. They usually show a lot of patience.

They literally fight so hard to not pay bills, responsibilities, their kids, or anything. The same ones who will fight everyone that they're so great and high values. Can't tell them anything

Can't believe he didn't read his own notes before coming to court. These people are such a waste of space.

Too funny "Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and he adds "right to travel". This judge is too patient with him.

I feel so bad for these state defense attorneys who are underpaid and begging to help this man for free. To keep him from digging his grave deeper.
