Austin Hargrave (PeanutButterGamer): Well intentioned goofball with a strong sense of morality… unless it’s funnier to be evil. He claims to fear leadership roles, but often is thrust into them regardless, and looks to his friends for confidence, and performs in them well. Well-enough.
Dean Elezab: A raucous adventurer with a knack for pushing his luck- and he knows it. Another word for Dean would be: polarizing; you either love him or hate him. Love him for his ridiculous (and dangerous) antics or hate him for endangering the team.
Stewart Hargrave (McJones Riley): Discerning and knowledgeable, McJones steers the group in the right direction and provides key information on the task at hand. Due to this role, he’s a little more cautious, but more than ready to play along with shenanigans when there’s downtime.
Barry Kramer: Quiet, chill, and quick of wit, Barry’s the rock of the group. He wouldn’t say this, far too modest, but you just can’t help but think he’s so dang cool. While he’s not one for leadership, affixing Barry to a task almost guarantees it’ll be done safely and quickly.
Jeff Fabre (SpaceHamster): If Austin is goofy then Jeff is bonkers. He has a penchant for escalation when things get silly, but when it’s time to lay out the logistics, Jeff becomes calm and collected. A competent adventurer, Jeff is arguably the most reliable before, during, and after a fight to get the job done.
Jared Knabenbauer (ProJared): Jared is the definition of ‘always on’; if there’s fantasy to be sold you can expect him to captivate. He’s level-headed and roguish in planning and approach, but when it goes down and friends are in danger, there’s few more determined to assist to the bitter end.
Ray Narvaez Jr.: Ray’s the boisterous and confident explorer who can get himself into terrible situations as deftly as he escapes them. I say confident, but he’s so deadpan it’s difficult to tell if he’s bluffing. He’s thoroughly capable in all areas of adventure, but greed can sometimes get the best of him.

Damn. Never been this early before. Anyway, I was thinking for the next hardcore, they could implement a traitor system. I've seen this mentioned previously, but I'm talking about a system where even the traitor doesn't know who the traitor is until a major event, like the first death happens. When the traitor is selected (maybe the person furthest from the group when the first death happens, so probably PBG), they get revealed and exiled and the rest of the party have to try and hunt them down.
Cool concept, but I dunno if it will happen. Every life is precious in hardcore.
SirTashingdon this idea takes away from the teamwork and friendship of the series, which i believe is the best part for them, and to watch.
It would be difficult to do without devolving into a single episode of pvp where they all gank the traitor, but the end of hardcore number 4 where Dean killed them all after they completed the objective was great. Maybe if the traitor doesn't get revealed, and knows who they are, but doesn't become active until the first death? I'd also say that the traitor should have their own specific goal that opposes the rest of the party, so it's not just 'the traitor kills the others with lava', but the team have to be alert to the possibility of a traitor trying to further the secret objective. Personally, I think it would add to the experience, because an extra mechanic to play around with. They can joke around and speculate about who the traitor might be, which might lead to red herrings and stuff like that, adding a mystery element to the whole thing. Imagine all the foreshadowing edits! PBI also think that PBG would forget about the traitor 2 episodes in, which could lead to some funny moments. My point is that hardcore has been pretty much the same for 5 seasons, and it would be nice to spice it up.
SirTashingdon Your idea could work, but not on this series. If the traitor gets revealed after the first death, he would just get hunted down and killed quickly. It's not like he can pick them off one by one, since the group would stay together, and would gang up on him as soon as they see him. Also, they would lose a member just because, and it could lead to failure. In other words, your idea could work on some way, but it doesn't fit with the style of the hardcore series, in my opinion
In the reply I just made, I said I realised that's exactly what would happen, but maybe if one random person had an alternate objective that they don't start working towards until the first death, and the others have to work towards their goal while preventing the unknown traitor from achieving theirs? The traitor wouldn't immediately and obviously turn on the group, since they'd get killed, they would have to pretend to help, or like actually help, but not quite enough.You'd end up wth all kinds of fun stuff going on, Dean desperately trying to prove he's not the traitor, PBG going off and inadvertantly giving the traitor an opportunity, etc. My point is that the traitor would have to be really careful not to get caught, and if they do, the group can just kill them and work towards the objective.
Gotta love the music choices here. Chronotrigger boss music, Suikoden overworld theme... Fun to listen to. Oh, and their antics in the Nether's great too!
Macross_ Green A game I've never played and something I've never heard of. But it sounds really good.
After 5 seasons they finally figured out TO PUT THINGS IN A CHEST when going on dangerous missions. I'm so proud of you guys.
pbg being cautious is a rare sight. happy to see lessons learned from previous hardcores (making guardrails, making sure everyones got foods, and that outpost near end)

I'm calling it right now. Someone is gonna die by not watching the durability of their shield. They are gonna go beast mode on a couple of blazes, then their shield will break and they will get wrecked.

Man, I really love how much Ray is doing on this hardcore. He was really most skilled in AH Group. Truly has been great move from forcing to play GTAV/MC every week because "The views on those are very high, they have to stay!" You can really see that killed him throughout with AH. It so great how Twitch really gave Ray's career into gaming to keep going and wish him to have happy life forward.
Pbg is literally the most adventurous of the group I like it

I love watching the classic 2013 video game "Nether".
I had a rough first day at my new job and a loooong, boring class session right afterward today, all while running on roughly three hours of sleep from over the past two day (EDIT: so tired I can't even pluralize word correctly). All I wanted to do was plop in bed when I got home just now, but I saw that this video was uploaded last night. Worth it. This is my escape, guys. Thanks. :)

Why are there torches on both sides in the lsyout? the editr is breaking the rule!
Here's how you handle Pigmen:
1.) If you can, get on top of a 2-block high "nerd pole" (maybe make it 3, in case some of them try to jump at first)
2.) Either by being in the active chuck or just having it loaded wait for 40 seconds.
3.) Run like HELL until angered pigmen are no longer chasing you.
As a person who goes Pigmen hunting frequently in my own worlds, I know how to deal with their ilk.
I maintain that all the video intros should play the Arthur theme until PBG dies.

oh god im sure this series is done already but i REALLY recommend enchanting ur stuff, even protection 1 on everything is crucial
omg, pbg standing on the ledge those times! when dean shouted at him to stop standing there, i cried out, "THANK YOU!" I can't stress enough what a horrible idea that is.
Oh that gave me flashbacks.
Me and a mate spawned in the Nether Under a lake of Lava in what I can only describe as a relatively medium sized hollow sphere of distorted shape.
To get out, we needed to "Drill" through the roof and up through the Lava by adopting a tedious process using Pistons and Cobblestone until we had a 4x4 tunnel poking through the surface of the Lava.
Then we needed to Cobble up to the roof of the Nether itself. From there one of us made a new Portal while the other destroyed the first. (Ultimately proved pointless)
From the roof we Ender Perled down to the Fortress after locating it at the other side of the lake. There we set up Portal 3.
Good times.
