    Consumption? 11.000 kms below Toyota's 3.8 l/100 km. The rest are made on the autobahn and during winter.
    I could see myself in one of these, especially if it's got AWD.

  • @dickschuurman4684
    @dickschuurman4684 3 года назад +8

    Neither the "standard" Yaris nor the Yaris Cross seem to be made for a family. When you see how limited the space is in the backseat and how much (or better: little) the rear doors open, you wonder what the manufacturers' thinking here is. If I (with my 6 ft) had to sit behind myself and squeezed myself through that crack, I poke my knees into the driver's seat.
    Try installing a child seat in a Yaris/Yaris Cross, let alone "filling" that seat... 😒
    Compare the space, especially in the back, with a Honda Jazz or Jazz Crosstar. They are 13.5 or 9 cm. shorter, 7 cm. narrower and have a 4 cm. shorter wheelbase. But... a lot more space and much better accessible! Thomas shows us here (from 11:57 but better watch from start to finish!): ruclips.net/video/gOAqmK6hibM/видео.html
    Unfortunately, you have about 85 liters of boot space less in the Honda's (if you did not know that in that empty space under the magic seats also fits a lot of junk, for example a foldable buggy... 😉).

    I like the exterior, but the interior .... Oh my, pure black and both in passenger and luggage compartments are just like black holes in outer space. Why can't manufacturers offers other lighter colours? For a small car like this, black is totally wrong colour. Small cars should be styled, designed and trimmed to feel fun, youthful and cheeky character. Black is very staid and boring. Give us options like light blue/white, cream and red, etc.

    Hallo Thomas,
    Wenn kriegst du den neuen Toyota Corolla Cross in deine hände? Es seht ganz interessant aus. Wird aber nur am ende 2022 im Estland an kommen.
    Da sind ja andere reviews auch über die corolla cross, aber Autogefül macht die beste.

    In the minute 8:34 you talk about the armrest… it is possible that you can ask to export that piece or the armrest to australia… or if you can provide any contact or email to contact Toyota parts in your country. I will appreciate the help. Thanks mate 👍🏻

    I would have preferred to see a pure EV rather than a hybrid.
    I do not understand Toyotas attitude towards EV’s when they were at the forefront of hybrid development. Otherwise, it’s a cool and funky car and yes I would have one with four-wheel-drive
