I agree, the Lexus LBX looks far better - but I ended up buying the YC Premiere edition that you were driving. I'm 6'1" and the YC seems roomier inside and can just about sit behind the driving seat set for me. I've downsized from a RAV4 as I don't need such a large car now and this fits the bill for me. I plan to keep this car for longer so the Toyota legendary reliability, backed up with the 10 year warranty, made me go for it, although no doubt there are better cars out there if your priorities are different.

I just got mine but very disappointed with poor paint coverage to a piece of fabric for a parcel shelf which flap about if you open the rear window! No lumbar support for passenger, you can’t move the seat belt on the B post and rubbish carpet if you can call it a carpet and as for the engine it’s still very noisy! Try using the buttons down on the right side of the dash it’s a joke and finally but certainly not least I cannot recommend it especially do to the price…

wow...I just literally got a Yaris Cross Premium Lux in Thailand and the price tag is 20K GBP, it's very similar to this one BUT with LOTS of differences. Mine has panoramic-sunroof which go further back to the rear passenger seats, addressing the lack of light you're talking about in this video 😅 it also comes with pollution filtering AC system and the front windscreen that has High Solar Energy Absorb technology to reduce heat in this country....other items also a lot more luxurious from this one - i'm a bit shocked Toyota UK aren't offering the same even with heftier price tag!

This "saving money city car" is from £25,000... for the base spec! There are literally hundreds of options to save more money... Buy a Dacia Spring BEV for £14,950 with fuel consumption equivalent to 200mpg.... With the £10,000+ saved you could buy 2yr old Citroën E-C4 (with heads up display). The options are out there if you look and saving money is your priority.

    Hello Trish nice video.
A few things: the intrusive speed limiting warning is a MANDATORY EU regulation for all cars that are sold from July 2024. All cars MUST behave like this.
The CHR is more expensive than the Yaris cross. If CHR Is outside your budget, you can choose the CHR.
The Yaris cross is an ugly car but a great machine. I almost bought it but I ended up ordering the Puma because the Ford dealer made me a better offer…and because the Puma is a truly beautiful car.

Did I not say in the video about it being mandatory? Maybe I didn’t as I’ve been saying it in many others. I have no issues with the safety features but some are definitely better than others at getting 1. The volume low enough so you can hear it but it doesn’t drive you made and 2. Finding a way to turn these systems off easily if you choose to do so. You make some very good points ☺️ Puma is a great car!

A very controversial car, and yet in the Caribbean, it's everywhere!!! Right off the bat: the style. It's one of those situations where you really can't please everyone. If this style is problematic, then there's the updated version, but people say it looks like a baby Rav4 and doesn't stand out like its original version. Either way, style, refinement, power output, that's not this car's key selling point. It's all about reliability! And Toyota is in the top 5 for the most reliable car brand in the world, bested by its premium counterpart, Lexus. Now some people say that the front looks bug-eyed, but where was that same energy for the VW Beetle that literally looked a damn bug?😂 anyways, love the colour, love the wheels, couple of zonks here and there like that rear windshield wiper. It needs to hidden, that's the trend nowadays. Not the fastest by any means, but very fuel efficient and practical. And in the crossover subcompact SUV segment, this is winning! Great review as always. Gonna give it a "like."

Why would you buy a Yaris cross over a cHR? Two reasons, number one, most of us are poorer than you, and cant afford the payments, number two, the cHR looks lilke it came out of a parody sci-fi movie. The design is clearly lacking, its entirely functional

@@fabulously695 this would have been such a balanced comment had you not thrown in ‘poorer than you’ you know absolutely nothing about my circumstances. I drive a VW Up! 👍🏼
