Or maybe a faith sorcerer with great archdeacon staff/ golden ritual spear? So much fun as well. However, best set up is a 27 str/40 dex with old wolf curved sword and offhand storm curved sword. Not the best damage but so usable and fun. Just switch it up and use pontiff right eye. Greetings from dexter4life00

Here's some tips: •using r1 or l1 will combo into the WA. •after landing the initial WA, you can squeeze out some extra damage by waiting (more spins = more damage). •the WA has armor, so if you're ballsy enough, you can trade with small weapons. •general strategy with most weapons, but backstep into running attack is good for keeping pressure on players rolling away. •finally, the big difference between using these and claws is that you don't need to headshot, and the WA launch at the end allows for rollcatches and traps. *whatever you do, don't try using any firestorm with the WA. You cannot cast it fast enough to roll catch anyone. *Unless* they're in a confined spot.

@@zylo4029 yea, base damage, scaling, most of the same moves (weapon-art is stomp and R2s are the horizontal swing, but it's as short as Drakeblood. no real reason to use it, it's just a worse claymore. the changed moves are less useful and the reduced range removes one of the few benefits a greatsword can give you
Demon's Fists don't scale well past 40 strength and both the R1 and L1 combo into the full weaponart which allows you to even hyperarmor through ultra weapon hits.

I've always wanted to get a bunch of guys together for a gimmicky pontiff session, follower javelins and wolf knight greatshields, so we could be Spartans with an efficient shield wall, and spear volleys.
If you have enough FP and you time it right, if you catch your opponent in the demon fist weapon art the first time, you can repeat that on wakeup till they die
Hope some of the more unique weapons get showcased unique builds are a rare sight these days but every build i make is really stupid and a complete gimmick so it might just be me
You should do a greatsword, for instance the Flamberge because it is very underrated on the right hand and a rapier on the off hand. The Flamberge is good one-handed because it’s two-handed heavies aren’t as good as for instance the Claymore, and use the rapier as a parry tool since a normal greatsword swing combos with a rapier attack. The weapon arts for the Flamberge do insane damage as well, more than most other greatswords. You can also use the Flamberge’s one-handed heavies as parry bait. Would love to see you give it a go!
There's a difference between not rushing in being stupid and playing super passive, like half the player base does. Standing around, never going in, and just waiting for the opponent to do something you can punish because they're bored isn't tactics, it's being annoying

Chase spends as much, or sometimes more, time running in his videos as he does attacking. He just doesn't seem to like it when these TACTICS are used against him. Lol

It depends on weapon match up. Try to use Demon's Fist and play total offensive for every opponent regardless what weapon they use. Can you do that? Meet an enemy who is using a dual buffed straight sword, but play passive after his buff run out? And then using crossbow?
Reach play an important part in a fight, counter fighting when you have the shorter let's you choose where and when to fight to negate the opponent strength

I love the Fists. I used to combo them with Executioners GS on one of my 'RP' invader builds. I called it the 'Ashen Executioner' haha. I'd set a timer for two minutes and if someone reached that limit then id pull out the sword because they were 'worthy'. I was surprised at how many people didnt make that time limit. G'night.
After comparing your stats and mine, I realized that the Demon Fists scale differently depending on the stats you pump into them. You have 66 strength, 9 int, 9 faith, 37 stam, and 44 hp (cuz of your rings). Your AR is 311p + 147f for a total of 458 at level 125. I started Pyro, and am only currently level 115, and am using no stat rings. My stat spread is 35 hp, 35 stam, 40 str, 26 int, and 26 faith, and my AR is 297p + 176f for a total of 463. Essentally, I'm trading your 11 physical for my 30 fire, but you did go the bruiser route with Vit, HP, and Stam, so you have more points in durability and I have more points in AR.
The Demons Fist isn’t going to win sweaty gank fights for you, but they’re super fun to use like the caestus, claws, and crow talons. I have a troll/throwaway character strictly for bad underused weapons 😄
You know you dont have to immediately press L2 then R2 quickly, you can just press L2 and wait and you will do several more spins and still combo into the R2
I have had max demon fists for a while and I watched this and now I finally understand why it is in my 21st slot for the best AR and I have been using this for a few weeks now and they SHRED my friends in a 4 player brawl
Btw I'm level 370 and my friends are 257, 192, and 217. Because of u I can finally break my friends stamina with there great shield and sword. I run both pontiff eyes, carthus beacon, and old wolf great sword.

Gael's is only cancer when they don't know how to do the unlocked weaponart backstep, that thing covers serious ground, has hilarious tracking, and catches enough people off guard because they expect the L2-R1 combo every casual spams

Demon fists have been my go to weapons. Yes there is a L1 into weapon art true combo. I'm wondering why he didn't go for fire buff and fire ring.

When Chase plays defensively it is a tactic, but when his opponents play defensively it is cowardice. Hmmmmm.....
