@@chadbrooks9763 kids mom promised they’d go to a game in Montreal but died before they could. Kid was attending a game without her and price gave him like 2 signed sticks, signed his jersey, and signed his mini stick. Then I guess they met up again

No one knows the story of Colton Parayko and that girl. The girl was a huge Blues fan and she loved Colton Parayko. She was with the blues franchise hanging out for a long time, just as she got out of the hospital. She had cancer, and she fought it. Parayko met her in the hospital, and ever since then those two have been bffs and she has been a big part of the blues organization. LETS GO BLUES
No one knows? The entire country is familiar with the story. It was highly publicized during the cup run. Do you just write shit to make yourself feel special?

When I heard about tbis story during the playoffs I was rooting hardcore for the blues. Beyond classy to give her a ring too. Rangers fan first but definitely a blues fan too after that one
What the Blues did for that girl is insane! She even got a legit cup ring! Mad respect to the Blues org!
The Blues organization as a whole is really difficult to hate. They won a cup with nearly nothing may I mind you

What Carey Price does for habs fans and fans of him is amazing. Reminds me of what Cujo did with Cujo kids.
I never looked at him that way but as a Caps fan, a new found respect for him and will support him always.
As a St. Louis Blues fan I got choked up when Steen and Parayko presented Laila with a real ring. They are a class organization with class players. The team flew her out to Boston at their expense for game 7 so she could join in with hoisting the Cup if they won it. But it goes deeper than that. The victory parade wasn't like your "normal" parade with the players going by in cars or fire engines. They walked along the barricades shaking hands and high fiving them while drinking copious amounts of Bud LIght. Fans were allowed to get pictures with, and yes, touch and kiss the Cup. It was surreal and it is one of the reasons I think hockey players are the classiest of all athletes. It was a year I will never forget.
Hockey players gotta be the nicest of all pro athletes just saying.
I think all pro sports players are the same way with fans, especially kids. They ALL remember what it was like to be a kid and look up to someone.

Not a Blues fan but what they did for her not only letting her kiss Lord Stanley but being there for the Cup presentation and then to get an authentic players ring is AWESOME! I'm sure she is going to remember those 2 days for the REST OF HER LIFE!
Carey Price is the incarnation of class. He's very devoted to the Montreal community, especially children. He deserves all the respect in the world and he sure makes me damn proud to be a Habs fan even when the team struggles!
The reactions of the kids are priceless. It’s a testament to how much those guys are role models to young people. The smallest gestures don’t go unnoticed.
This is why I love the NHL.
I'm 100% a baseball fan, but I agree. These players seem to have a connection with the fans that cannot be matched. Plus the players are insanely talented considering the factors of the sport. Much love ❤️

I will never forget Mark Napier, who played for the Habs many years ago, sending me a huge envelope of souvenirs, because someone somewhere told him about a hockey-obsessed kid facing some medical challenges. Thank you! I’m doing fantastic today.

I’m a leafs fan, but seeing how much love they gave to Layla not just for a few days, but for basically the whole end of season, it melted my heart.

Well I play football (the european one) and I don't have an idea about the NHL or hockey. But I respect them big time for their interactions with the fans. Price especially seems like an absolute hero.
What I truly love about professional hockey is that so many players truly love interacting with the fans, especially kids. To them it’s not an obligation; they know the impact they bring with even simple gestures like giving away a puck. Love it!

After watching Reaves lose at tic tac toe I haven't been able to stop wondering if he lost on purpose or has just taken too many hits to the head lol. Thanks to Jens and all the other NHL content creators for giving us some hockey entertainment while the league is in Limbo!
Reaves loves interacting with the fans. Said so himself in multiple interviews as a former Blue/current Golden Knight

to know what these players have to do and engage in the mental aspect of the game, then turn it off and do this for all the fans is remarkable, these guys are super heroes. Not all super heros wear capes.
I know it would be difficult to find since there's no stat that marks the occurrence but a video of bench goalies catching wild pucks would be really cool. I love that image of the bench diving for cover and the goalie casually tracking it down.
Man I will never forget the night the Avs played the Coyotes in Denver. I was skating for the Arvada Storm with my kid brother playing AA hockey and our mother was dying. Our organization connected with Kroenke Sports and they set us up to meet the team and skate onto the ice for the Anthem. I stood next to Ryan Smyth and we had the 6 glass seats next to the bench. Gretzky coached the Coyotes. The hockey family is the best family. A night I will never forget.

I met Carey price before he made it I'm the NHL and still have a pick signed by him. I was really young at the time but I remember my aunts knowing someone so that we got to see. My favourite Vancouver Giants game to date. Love the guy from Vancouver
