The reporter interviewing Maroon deserves a raise. Just being able to see how emotional of a moment he brought up, to quickly wrap up the interview, give that reassuring comment and comforting tap on the back of the shoulder, just professionalism.

Keith Tkachuk ranking his kids pretty much sums up why he was my favorite player of all time... “Im number one, because i am... and you’re both tied for last.”
Ask us here in Winnipeg about how good of a person Keith was when he was just starting out. Also: He married a winnipegger in Chantal so clearly she's the best Tkachuk!
Losing my grandfather to Alzheimer’s was the toughest thing I’ve ever had to endure. To see them struggling day after day and know you can’t do anything about it is heartbreaking. Knowing Oshie’s struggle with the same thing I had to go through is why he’s one of my favorite hockey players.
Oshie hit me hard. My dad died of Alzheimer’s. He was a veteran and then a cop and then the chief of police. Toughest but sweetest and funniest guy I ever knew. It was heartbreaking to see him literally lose his mind. So I know why he was tearing up. It’s been 10 years but I still miss him every day. He was a rock. God bless you and your dad, Oshie. Peace.

TJ's interview made me well up pretty good, as a single dad Maroon's had me leaking. Its awesome when you can see these guys are human and not just sports figures.
Are we 100%, absolutely sure that’s ray feraro’s kid? He only sounded exactly like his dad in EVERY way, even down to the mannerisms and facial expressions 😂

That Oshie clip would be gut-wrenching regardless, but as a dude who’s lost way too many people I love to Alzheimer’s, my heart absolutely breaks for him. I may not love the Caps, but I DO have endless respect for Oshie, and I’m really glad he got to win a cup with his dad in the stands before he passed.
I have an album on Facebook of pictures of players I have met getting drafted, and I made sure the picture of Anthony that I put in that album had Marty in it. Although born 20 years apart, Marty and my dad were born on the same day.
Not on this video, but in 2022 Dave Manson, assistant coach of the Oilers, proudly hugging his son Josh Manson after Josh and the Avalanche swept the Oilers in the playoffs.
I thought when my dad coached my ball team it couldn’t get better. When we finally played together it was great. I couldn’t imagine doing it in the pros like the Griffeys
Look at all the Blues / Ex-Blues players in this video, Oshie, Bozak, Maroon, Big Walt... if Brady or Matt wanna come join the Blues will gladly take either one!

100%. And credit to Gene Principe who interviewed Pat with true kindness and compassion.

I think it would've been pretty savage if Carey Price stopped the puck from going in. No one gets a free pass from Price 😂
It must be so stressful for him, you don't have to ruin that moment by stopping the puck by accident
The announcers reaction to Burn's son dropping the gloves always makes me laugh.
I'm a lightning fan and the maroon one with the big rig that pulled on my heart strings .🏒
Stars fan and I love Maroon, wish he was on our team lol the guy murders us
Didn't expect to see the Big Rig get choked up like that. Good guy. Gets too much hate. Great video
We all can take advice from my homie Price.. Give the children something to cheer and forget life for an hour!!

A few years on and Oshie's interview still makes me tear up
The fact that those fans at the start knew that they were father and son, and were probably father and son themselves, makes that clip a lot better.

Ok but my favorite thing in the entire world is when a goalie throws their head back in fake frustration on a goal they purposefully let in for a kid
So much respect for Oshie after this
