Holy cow. That’s crazy. I’m glad you made this video. That’s an impressive amount of gold the old timers left from over 100 years ago. Surprised nobody else thought of cleaning the sluices out. That’s crazy but I’m Glad you found gold there. I wash you guys weighed it up but maybe next time. Great video. Good luck next the next time you guys go back any the rest of the material.

I've always wondered how much gold you could find by looking through old gold processing equipment! The methods weren't as efficient back then; it looks like they went for brute force (sheer volume) as opposed to trying to get every bit of gold they could.

You could use a hole saw on a drill to cut around the bolt to separate the top mat

Instead of a grinder I would take a cheap hole saw just leave the drill bit out of the middle and cut around the bolts through the mats probably be faster

Best gold Rush content out there!

Tom Massey and his brother from gold fever show 30 years ago metal detected the tailing pilings, and we’re doing quite quite well to the point they quit filming

Awesome Possum 👌!! Now with your profits you gotta buy some pigs and chickens. Get a cook shack. Sell bacon and eggs for breakfast 😋.

When I was a boy up in Alaska. Mu dad panned a bit. But he said panning around the dredges that where all over the place back in the late 60s and early 70s. Was a waste of time. Because the dredges did not miss anything. Was he ever wrong. one guy was poking around next to where a dredge went over some bedrock. He found a 5 oz nugget. That the dredge hopped over.

I love how they always talk about how much gold they're gonna find and how long are you gonna work.. As soon as they have enough gold to go get silver bullets they're like "well it won't be an ipa day."
