Hi guys nice to see people doing small dredging which doesn't hurt the environment. Because up in Alaska they just tear everything right down stripped everything trees and all open up the permafrost cause major damage and causes severe. Thks for doing it right
Outstanding!!!! If I do my math rite, you fellas have found a pound of gold in 2 clean ups!! Can't wait till the next vid fellas, thanks for the adventure
Bryan, I dredged with a guy 36 years ago that lives there and he said the river freezes from top to bottom and during breakup the whole bottom moves also and replenishes the place you dredged with new materal almost every year. Good luck.
Thanks for sharing the great videos. You probably don't realize that it is people like y'all that encourages the next generation to want to do something good like this. Good luck and happy prospecting. This is great dredge that looks like it is set up perfectly. Thanks for sharing
Back in 88 i held an over 4 oz nugget in the chicken saloon. Dredger on the north fork found it. He wanted 2000 bucks for it. Almost bought it. Should have lol

So nice to see you guys actually pulling gold in everyday, unlike your days with Fred and Justin 😉. Hammer down and dig deep. May the gold gods smile down upon you guys.
Beautiful River and one of the best hobbyist gold videos I have seen and you guys got all the equipment from The Dredge down to the clean-out and all that pretty gold looks like a corn Fritter omelette in the frying pan! My hat's off to you from Northern California plus I like the Captain's commercial fishing boats shirt I am a retired crabber out of SF it was really something when your big boats came down from Dutch Harbor every season man it was like the big dogs were coming into town.. thanks for posting. Incredible trip Bryan! I can't fathom having such a massive clean out.I'm going to have to look into Gold Fever Prospecting.I'm hoping you show us your totals for the whole trip at some point. How will you ever be able to settle for a four inch on the Wild Ammonoosuc again?!!!!
Hi again, another great video. I would love to be finding that amount of gold, well done. I appreciate the effort you guys make in making these videos. All the best, Natalie.👍🌞✨
That is definetly the first time I have ever seen anyone weld in a wet suit.🤔🤣🤣 The 10" is A beast. Great clean up. Not a lot of clarity in the water there. Greet nugget you found , very nice. Cooking on the dredge.😁👍👍Thank for sharing your amazing adventure in alaska.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
how did you guys get on the 10-inch? I thought she said that the 8 and the 10 were reserved for the experienced because it was such a big dredge? Just wondering because it looks like for all the guys on it, that it was the golden ticket.
Just for the sake of time, maybe replace that corrugated vacuum hose with some flexible spa tub hose. Couple hose clamps, cut the adapter off the old corrugated hose and done. I imagine it takes a while to clean it. Love the videos by the way. Im saving for a trip somewhere and I think this might be the place.
@@briankenison7995 vacuum hose was not smooth. Those corrugations will catch gold. Maybe it's really easy to wash out and there is no need for a smooth hose. I was just giving a suggestion. No one knows everything, no matter how long they have been doing it. Surly you are old enough to know that. 😉
I think you guys deserve what you find Maybe when it's a bad you still keep what you find And when it's tough to get out on your own and do what you do I can't do it so i appreciate being able to watch it Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
It cost $7,000 a week to stay at that camp. That includes your food basics. You want anything extra you pay more. Then I have to pay the cost of getting there I'm sure that's not cheap. And without a doubt it's not all the cost.
That welder is tiny! I bet it's a true carry in, wish I had something like that. I've seen ones that sell for $50-100 but they look underpowered. Looks like you have a good time that pays for the trip, lots of work but where else can you sluice that much gold.
if that current is so strong down where you guys are dredging now why not try changing the current further up river just before the bend to your straight using larger rocks etc. Later on you might think of changing that current to work for you better when you if you guys do the opposite bank.
how much money did you actually gross? and, How much did it cost total to make that much? In your opinion is it worth going with these guys on that river?
@@AmericanGoldProspectors That is awesome for you but you didnt actually answer my question. I dont have a ton of money to go do something like that without at least a hope of it paying for itself and hopefully making money too.
@@exjw8623 To be honest, making a profit gold mining is unpredictable. It's just like asking a gambler if it is profitable gambling at a casino, or asking a guy at a quick stop if scratch tickets are profitable. There is no easy answer to that question.
It will be nice to have a bunch of secondary boxer so you can remove all the maximum boxes off the 10-inch dreads put the fresh ones in there somebody still running sucking gold watch somebody back to doing the clean-out 24 hours
My suggestion to un-clog the mesh screen.. use a stiff wire brush to quickly remove the clogged pebbles, it works like cleaning a metal file. Very fast and easy to do onsite
Welding in a wet suit? Saftey first ey! Nice touch adding in a smoker to your dredge, awesome idea. But I couldnt help to notice all of the smoke getting in and around the motor. Be careful that the smoke doesnt get taken up by your divers air intake... that could be a deadly mistake! Great clean up indeed. Thanks for sharing mate. Good Luck & Happy Dredging

Do they ever dredge closer to the middle of the river? Or do they always stay close to the bank?
we get swept away because of the current
On the 40 mile is the gold better near bedrock or is it plentiful throughout the layers?
The gold is all throughout

My question is, what do you like more. River dredging like this or down in the sea?
I love river dredging 100% more, but much more money to be made in the Bering Sea off Nome.
would that setup work in nome if u had a pusher boat to move it around or is it to shallow of a hull?
It would need larger pontoons to handle the waves.
