    I have no idea how well it really works. I mean, you can show gold, but how much gold does it miss? I mean, it could have pissed out 3 times that gold and you're happy with what you see. It needs to be a controlled test if you really want to know. And you can't go by weight or sight. You need to test with 100 pieces of gold of various meshes. In a full bucket of dirt and ran through to see if it catches all the gold or how much. I have nothing against the concept or design, but I need to see a controlled test. Again, it needs to be a test of number of pieces rather than weight or sight. But I love the concept.
    I know, everyone else will just give ya' a high five or pat you on the back and move on. My mind doesn't work that way. I'm sure that is a test you probably want to prove as well.

      I was thinking the same. I would really need proof to justify price.

      Several controlled tests with a capture to loss rate is what I need to see. It looks cool, but the proof is in the data (I am an Engineer and our philosophy is: In God we Trust, all else produce Data)

    If you keep your pump uphill/upstream you will get stronger flow due to less resistance and having gravity in your favor. Electric pumps lose some power pushing water uphill. Taxes the battery too. Its a clever design! Heavy pans!

    It really looks like a great concept but there are places like Wisconsin where powered equipment like that isn’t allowed. We wish !!!!

    • @briangold1792
      @briangold1792  Год назад +2

      Regs on Lake Superior.? They require less than 2400 gph running in a tub correct? This runs at less than 2300 gph at the machine. With a 6 ft hose the pump cannot produce more than 2300 at 100%.

    • @briangold1792

      But if you find a location where a long supply hose uphill provides gravity feed to this equipment would circumvent the use of power for water flow... or dam up the stream with the reusable grocery bags idea I mentioned i use to provide the head pressure up stream to have continuous water for this...

      I also noticed it had a 4700 gph pump hooked to it !

    This is an interesting piece of equipment. Forest Service has us shut down from dredging, except for a power sluice. This might be useful. I subbed , thanks for sharing.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

    Different to the normal approach to capture gold, I like the fact you are thinking outside the box. But how much does it lose, you need to test the tailings and show that. ❤it

    • @John-ir2zf
      @John-ir2zf Год назад +1

      I doubt he is.
      Certain areas have certain "types" of gold.
      His area likely doesn't have nuggets, only fine gold.
      That machine wouldn't be ideal in an area with less fine gold and more chunky pieces instead.
