Lol got a deal now to move some bucket dredge tailings down in South Dakota and screen the material underneath. Can't wait to get started soon.

It would be a dream to clean up a dredge that was left alone. Gotta be a couple ounces in the cracks. The old miners were concerned with volume so the nooks and crannies probably didn't even cross their minds.
Why is mega sitting just sitting? Awsome video bro. This is one of my favorite channels. That old dredge was so magnificent. Crazy they were able to construct that bad pony. It's crazy their trommol holes were so small.
Other videos about the trommel dredges have said the fine gold and small nuggets were 100 times the bigger nuggets, so, they were only concerned with capturing the fine gold and small nuggets that would fit through the screens.
I've been in that exact same trommel 25years ago, didn't find much Then either... Shop vac like a little handheld battery operation might work... We went to and on all the dreges but didn't know if it was legal or not??? There's no place like Nome .

I maybe be older But I think 1980s maybe 90s. Which means someone left it there after I don't know. But I think it stopped running in 1940s or 1960s

They used mercury in the process now they are cleaning up the tailings.
