You should get some air shocks for the rear of your beach buggy! They're not very expensive and you can fill them through a standard Schrader valve from a tire pump fitting on a compressor.

That last video was 3 pickup truck loads of sand. This video was only one car load. Both matts worked great! Can't go wrong with either one for beach sand.

Just because your idea of being rich and comfortable is one thing doesn’t mean that goes the same for the next guy. You can be poor as dirt and still be happy and feel rich. Life is what you make of it. Good luck out there on your journey of what you think it means to have a good life!

@@wer159able I do concrete work for a living, I’m definitely not rich and comfortable. There is a difference between a planned out camp and a junk pile with tarps and crow everywhere.

I'll be going up to Byron too.
I've been a hand shoveler for 40 years.
Any recommendation for a wetsuit would be greatly appreciated too.
go with a 4 inch. Just get a cheap suit if you're just doing it in the summer.

Cool! Love your beach buggy. Pretty soon you'll have all the gals with their thongs and pasties chasing you down the beach. Then you'll have to make a decision: Red , or Black:-) I had an old cadillilac that i ran around in the desert down here. Great stereo. Air ride. Air conditioned. Would haul 12 five gal. buckets. Yee-Haa!! Great memories of that old beast. Good job. That's a few ounces a month.

Wow, those beaches hold more than I thought. You could etch out a living that way.
I dont know what they pay for gold up there but roughly 160 bucks for a few hours sounds pretty good.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK I hear Alaska is an expensive place to live, and he probably doesn't hit that much every time, so we are talking etch out a living, if that's all he did. Not to mention the time for prospecting and set-up etc, is part of the game and all time involved should be included in profit estimates. IMO
Some people do make a living off the beach, but it's a very hard life. Better off just doing it for fun here and there.
I would rig up the Honda with a belt drive water pump off the motor put a sluice box in the back make it driveable to wherever you find the gold sluice it and roll

A few criticisms. You're a uniquely boring live host. Write a script. Edit the video. Voice over so we're not listening to the wind. I know youtube is maybe just a small part of your hobby, but your operation is very interesting, so try to actually put out a good video and you'll get lots of subscribers. Sorry to be so harsh, but youtube turned off dislikes so this is the only way to give you feedback

I know a way to get 100 times more the gold in less times. I would say I could classify probably 1000 gal in a day per person with no sluice or water. I'm surprised nobody has done this. I will probably go to my grave without ever having the chance to try it out.

Wow, musk ox in Nome. I have been there several times. It was a long time ago and it was job related. Due to the enthusiastic hunters and lack of fresh whale carcasses I think Nome is not a place for brown bears to stroll about. But I have never looked at the local rivers for salmon runs so I might be wrong. Now polar bears would be a different story.

I don't understand why you don't just mount the sluice in the vehicle. Why double handle the raw sand/gravel & waste valuable time & gas?
If you get your water from the ocean, it will suck sand and destroy your pump.

man I am gonna do a do or die. and try to camp close to the Mexican guy funny I am not Mexican but I lived in Tijuana Mexico for the past 10 years. I have been watching jeff Williams and others for over 5 years and I am sick I just want to do it. I am partially disabled and had a brain aneurysm so I am gonna do it before i die. I mean like the first of September a few days. you live every day you only die once. I get a piss 1k to check a month and I need to add to that. any way possible. I can do 2 months there and have to come home.

@@AmericanGoldProspectors Put rhe foot valve in a 5 gallon bucket , drill half inch or so holes in bucket,with a couple large rocks for weight. Use your imagenation Brian. I've be dredging 42 years so been their done that.

172 BUCKS is not bad for a day otherwise 'off' the clock, but you seriously underestimate hours spent working it - actual time is every second from start of getting equipment ready to finish weighing, add cleanup, not just time shoveling.

I have a 93 Geo tracker that is the same as that vehicle it was in an accident so now it's off road only convertible we cut the top off with a saws all ... It's a cool little gold buggy to get around in the woods in . 31-in Thorn birds so it'll go right through the swamp and not even spin a tire. Yours is nice and brand new almost sweet ride

There is a sign on the beach that says no camping $100 fine per night. So it is not legal to camp on the beach.

The town did a big sweep last year and enforced the no camping rule. No one is supposed to live on the beach. There is a sign right there saying 100 fine for camping. The campers in the videos are braking the rules. Not much more I can say about that.
