  • “HOW I PERCEIVE PITCHING MECHANICS
    Energy man.. Energy
Loved getting the opportunity to work in person with @isoto5
after him n his pops drove roughly 3 hours to come get a sesh in literally a month after getting a Mechanical Analysis..
so kids, here’s a really good example of someone who doesn’t just SAY they want it but actually SHOWS itttt! Fire me up..
anyways let’s dive into this component because it’s a really good subject to get weird with.. humBABE 👌👇
This is actually the reasoning behind why I created the ‘Accelerators/Drivers‘ system because I was seeing so much confusion as to how someone should organize their delivery..
“This guy says to go down the mound as fast as you can”
“This guy says to stay back as long as you can.”
“This guy says to drift..This guy says to hinge..This guy says to corkscrew(careful that word is under heavy surveillance).. This guy says to push..rotate.. etc etc etc.
My belief is in energy. Your building various energies within the parameters of what your specific body AND mind perceive possible in an attempt to complete whatever task that is needed to be completed.
This example with Isaiah is actually stemming more from his brains perception of the task as opposed to his physical body actually just being restricted. His progressions are more focused on putting him into environments he’s not accustomed to (but can take ownership in) in an effort to create some neural connections in those postures. Just needs a good amount of repetitions in those environments to allow motion memory to kick in.
“Soooo what should I do this summer to get better at pitching?”
A good solution to that is to work with someone who has had good experiences with throwers that are similar to you in age/weight/body type/throwing hand. Every instructor is going to have a unique skill set, you just gotta find the one that best suites you and your career.” -@robbyrow12

The captions obscure the movements - what are the bold and in the middle of the screen? Put them on the bottom perhaps so we can SEE what's going on??
