  • This 5-minute full-body mobility flow gets your whole system moving and stretches all your fascial lines using a single short stick (4-5 ft, depending on your height). Use as daily mobility maintenance, pre-workout warmup, or to help stay loose when having to sit for long periods of time. Stretches and activates your entire body, working your superficial, functional, lateral, and spiral lines. Give this flow a try and get your whole body moving in just 5 minutes!
    -------
    Stick Mobility is a training system that improves your mobility, stability, and strength.
    The exercises combine joint mobilization, strength training, and deep fascial stretching to increase athletic performance, reduce the risk of injury, and speed recovery after exercise.
    The system uses the Mobility Stick as a simple tool to improve range of motion, muscle activation, coordination, and body awareness to build a strong foundation for better movement. It provides kinesthetic and visual feedback to users and coaches. The Mobility Stick is made with a custom blend of materials designed to achieve the balance of flexibility, strength, and grip needed for the full range of Stick Mobility exercises.
    The exercises are based on the scientific principles of:
    - Leverage
    - Stability
    - Feedback
    - Irradiation
    - Isometrics
    - Coordination

    Thank you, so much for this excellent demo. Since you were slow and controlled, I could really see the muscle reactions in your arms between pulling out on the stick vs. pushing in on it while doing the side-to-side rotations. I love that this is so low impact. I have been very sedentary for over 3 years and need to get back to moving more. I have been dreading jogging or other calisthenics-type exercising.

    Your website says that for people 5'10" and taller, the recommended package is two 7-foot and one 5-foot stick, whereas for shorter-than-5'10" people it would be two 6s and a 4 foot. But it seems that, even for taller people, the moves you demonstrated here would require the 4-foot stick, and you couldn't really do them with a 5-footer. So how rigid is that recommendation? I'm 5'10" but am tempted by the 2x6-ft + 4-ft package. Would that be a good choice for me?

      Hi Steven, we would still recommend the longer bundle for your height. However, one exception would be if you have a long torso or a wingspan that is shorter than average for a person that is 5'10". If that is the case, you may like the shorter bundle. Hopefully that helps clear things up for you 😃

    In the FIRST 20 seconds of your video theres a word I heard you say but Im not sure what it is. It's in the sentence "through all your systems and all your (INSERT WORD PLEASE)".

    • @StickMobility
      @StickMobility  3 года назад +2

      Hi Sammy! The sentence is "through all your systems and all your fascia lines". Fascia lines are the traceable framework, or lines, that distribute strain, tension, fixation, and compensations. These lines create stability, resistance, power, flexibility, elasticity, and posture. Let us know if you have any other questions 😀
