That's just the minimum requirements - which you can google in a few seconds. I hardly think the minimum requirements will give you a "good, fast performance" - it's needed to be able to use it at all.
I was looking for some general recommendation where you reach a good performance.
From my own experience I find it is good to have at least twice the required RAM in your system. My old 64 bit desktop is quite slow on Windows 10 with just 2GB of RAM.

I installed windows 10 on my hp pavilion because it had 4gb of ram and 2ghz processor. What no one told me was that windows would run like trying to mix oil and water. I found out it ran so slow because I was using a single core cpu

No, Windows 10 requires at least 512MB of graphic card. i have 256MB card while i had no problem with windows 7 Aero transparent themes but i had graphics problem in windows10 so came back to windows 7 Aero.

Windows 10 loves RAM. My recommendation is 4GB or more of RAM for Windows 10.
When I run the "get windows 10' app I fet a messafe saying something along the liunes of: "Your CPU is not supported by Windows 10" and "GTX 980 TI is not supported". My CPU is an Intel 4770 and my gpu is a MSI GTX 980 TI GAMING.

I know for a fact that both your processor and GPU are supported. Your GPU even has WHQL drivers ready for Windows 10. Like Nick said, something is wrong.

You could try turning off overclocking if you're doing that and also disabling your anti-virus.
Minimum system requirement are not in practical way you must have 4GB RAM with 32 bit operating system and and 8GB with 64 bit its real practical things that everyone knows 32 bit only support 4GB ram then why we will run Windows 10 Pro on 1GB RAM for 32bit and 64 bit with just with 2 GB RAM

abik awale . That's up to you. If you meet the minimum requirements with a Graphics card that is Direct X 9 or better. I do suggest more RAM.

Nope. You must have a Windows 10 compatible video graphics card/adapter.
Nick is lying. You must have integrated chipset that is capable of running windows ten. Many motherboards/cpu combos have onboard video these days with good enough built in video memory to handle windows ten. The processor itself makes this work. A separate graphics card is always a better experience if it meets the average requirements (not minimum). Very affordable these days.
Someone said they had "intel hd graphics" on their laptop and he said they were fine. So he's not being consistent.

Doing an upgrade from Windows 7 sp1 to Windows 10 will allow you to save all your personal files...documents, music, pictures, videos...etc. including your Windows 10 compatible apps.

Need minimum of 4gB to have a good experience. Minimum requirements means minimum performance. You'd would need to turn a bunch of features off with 2 gigs to have any sort of enjoyable experience.
