No...not at all. The GT1 was always superior to the R390 in granturismo. So much so that I always assumed it was a prototype class and the R390 was a true Gt1 class car. You can even notice in this race the Ai GT1 eventually overtakes the R390 and considering how bad the Ai were at overtaking and driving in general that just shows the difference in pace.
I really miss playing this, as I just completed GT3 last month, using the GT-One (dream car) in the final race of Simulation mode. P.S. I actually did dream of driving the car in GT3 way before I got it, so it really is considered my literal "dream" car.
To be honest. I fell in love with driving the Toyota GT-One since I won it in GT2 on the Special Licence as it not only looks good but it sounds great and it can easily win most if not all races and it is great fun to drive. I just wish that it had a proper cab view in GT2 and GT3 as the interior reminds me of a fighter plane :).
They got the sound right in FM5 and 6. Now they have to redo the sound and update the outdated model. But knowing Fraud 10, I don't think that's possible for them.
@xTimelessGamimg The Formula GT Championship is hard. The Escudo is to Fast and Hard to stop. How can I beat the Championship with a car faster than the F1's?
I think the sounds come from the Jaguar XJ220 engine although I could be wrong but the Jaguar sounds are nicer on the ears in my opinion. That said, these sounds would have been accurate if Jaguar had of supplied the engine to Toyota to fit in their TS020. The real sounds for this car is more like a cross mix of a Mitsubishi Evo 8 and a Toyota Supra blended together.
Gran turismo 3 was the reason to buy ps2 back in time, loved this game it had too good graphics back in 2001
Same here. I bought GT3 and a PS2 just to drive this car as its still my favourite since GT2.
@@BritishRail60062Toyota GT ONE in Forza Motorsport 8 sounded like 2014 V6 F1 Hybrid Turbo.😅
@@purwantiallan5089 I have no idea.
My childhood here...GT3 was my favorite out of the series. Loved the GT-One! ~
Me too. It is also the favourite race car from Maki Nishikino.
Love the sound of that gt1
Me too. Maki Nishikino also love the sound of 1999 Toyota GTONE in GT3.
This car and the R390 GT1 were like true rivals in this game
What about the 787b?
@@pussytoucher that car is dominant in speed if none of the cars have tuning done to it. Also, the Zonda race car is a good choice too.

@太陽ダビデ more like inconsistent especially in endurance races.
Those two, the Zonda and the 787B were the four horsemen of the apocalypse
Love the vivid colours of GT3. When racing was pure fun.

Fuck me that menu part gave me some serious memory's
If you don't cut across the grass at the end of the lap then do you really know how to race?
Same here lol. I always take advantage of shortcuts :).
The jump if you hit it just right, you do a wheelie
That's why Gran Turismos 5 on up invalidate your time when you take shortcuts
I like comparing F094/S with this car
I miss the Turbo sound, like in GT2.
Agreed that Turbo blow off sound was epic.
Very nice looking racing car!
my favorite race car
I am glad to see my sister again ☺
That is top quality driving.
The sound from Toyota GT ONE RACE CAR TS020 in Gran Turismo 3 still miles above in Forza Motorsport 8!

I love this car
In GT2 the R390 GT1 (663 Hp) is weaker than the Toyota GT One (672 Hp).
In GT3 it's the other way around.
But I like painting more of the R390 GT1
But when you tune them both up the gt1 wins
Wow i love this car
the GT ONE Race Car has a text say: "ESSO Ultron" Not even the Exxon at ESSO.
This is the PAL version.
@@LeafFerret and japan version, don't forgot.
Im going back to get ps2 and grandturismo 3
While playing this as child, I was scared of seeing a rival with a gt one or 787b coming for me in the rearview mirror 😅
Love this car
How to get this car in game?
I love the gt 40 race car and the Camaro race car 😊

it's a cute car
If only the real life car sounded like this.
Good thing the RPM range is similar to this

Why is game lagging
