    Hey Guys, I hope you all enjoyed the video! 🔥 Here's a few quick side notes:
    - iOS 17.1 wasn't yet available when I filmed this video, but I did gather the results which you can see below:
    *AnTuTu: 1 534 152 (iOS 17.0.3) / 1 350 189 (iOS 17.1)
    *Geekbench 5: 2 141 & 5 805 (iOS 17.0.3) / 2 121 & 5 700 (iOS 17.1)
    *Geekbench 6: 2 832 & 6 992 (iOS 17.0.3) / 2 801 & 7 026 (iOS 17.1)
    *3DMark: 3 512 & 21FPS (iOS 17.0.3) / 3 625 & 21.7FPS (iOS 17.1)
    - I really wanted to run through Solar Bay within 3DMark but the Pixel 8 Pro can't run it at all... (Mid-range much?)
    - I will be getting my hands on a SD8Gen3 phone relatively soon, so stay tuned for comparisons!
    Stay tuned for my battery comparison and camera comparison videos coming within the next couple of weeks! 😎✌

    These days, benchmarks don't really matter anymore unless you are looking for raw power for gaming and video rendering. It is probably why a lot of tech reviewers do not conduct such tests anymore, and instead camera quality and battery endurance have become 2 key factors in reviews. For some, a phone review has turned into a camera review. When it comes to power of a chip, I have more interest in what it will be like in 5-10 years time, but I think it will only go so far given that the SoC is confined to a small space with limited cooling.

    Benchmarks no longer is comparable to real life performance as I saw iPhone lag hard compared to Samsung and pixel when running asphalt 9, screen sharing and having a PIP video being played. So much for high multi-core score if it throttles in real life.

    • @dinervc9582
      @dinervc9582 Год назад

      This is the kind of people that watch these „ultra stresstest“ comparisons. Wannabes.
      How come not a single benchmark, stresstest or real life comparison reflects these comparisons you mentioned? Because the test is flawed asf. But ofc since Apple lost that’s the only real comparison, right? Even more real than ACTUAL real life comparisons. Bet if Apple won y’all would be the first people to complain and then go back to talking about Antutu scores.
      Seriously, do u (and other people thinking like u) have a brain that can think for itself? Why do you think people do gaming and benchmark comparisons when comparing Desktops and not:
      - „Which Desktop performs better at play an 8k HDR Video in PiP, be in a Discord and Teams call, run cinebench in the background while running Cyberpunk 2077 on true 4k Path traycing ultra settings? Also, one of the Desktops only has a passive cooling system while the other has a custom watercooling system and is in a freezer.“
      That’s pretty much the equivalent of what that comparison is in Desktop terms. Just slightly exaggerated so you realise how stupid ur argument is.
      But like always, I am 99.9% sure you’re either gonna:
      - Disagree with some kind of bs argument again.
      - Call me smth like an Apple Fanboy or whatever (despite me literally representing facts).

      Maybe the optimisation is bad but then again most of the apps are optimised for iOS in general and Android ones are less efficient and less optimised for reasons that developers know so that argument can't be made.

    • @TamasKiss-yk4st
      @TamasKiss-yk4st Год назад +6

      And is that a huge thing? The 2024 chip outperform the 2020 chip? Even if everyone call the M1 is a desktop class chip, it's still just a doubled A14, so..
      By the way even the A17 close to the M1 in multiple tests and that is still a 2023 chip. (And if you try to argue about the SD8G3 is a A17 competitor, you can go back to 2019/2020, when Android manufacturers still had balls to release a phone with the iPhone.. SD855 announced in 2018 dec 4, but releases in the Note 10 (2019 aug) and in the Pixel 4 XL (2019 oct).. nobody compared that with the A12 from 2018 just because it was announced in 2018.. everyone compared them with the iPhone betwen Note 10 and Pixel 4 XL.. so with the 2019 iPhone 11, not with the 2018 iPhone Xs.. and just follow the method: SD865 vs A14 /this was actually the last Note 20 vs iPhone 12, what releases together../, SD888 vs A15, SD8G1 vs A16, SD8G2 vs A17 and SD8G3 vs A18...)

    Bro, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro can take 12 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. But iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro can only take 10 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. Why ?
    I don't have an iPhone, so can anyone please let me know if you turn ProRaw in 12 megapixel instead of 48 megapixel, can it take 12 bit photos ?
    I'm curious about this because, 12-bit = 68 billion colours. But, 10-bit = 1.07 billion colours. That's a huge difference.
    If iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro cannot take 12 bit photos, that seems to be a huge downgrade !
