As someone who, while not vegan, is all for individual independence from the government and society at large, I really appreciate this channel. While my mother showed me a few gardening tips here and there, I have converted both my plots of land (each about 10 by 6 meters) into absolute food production and nature heaven with all the useful tips, tricks and advice on your channel. It has helped me fight my gaming addiction and to reconnect with nature. I have also started holding a few chickens on my plot just outside of the city (10min drive) for fresh, natural eggs. I want to thank you for showing me a better way of life and a way to make myself more independent and self-sufficient in a more and more controlling age.

Love your videos brother, they're really inspiring me to start my own garden. I recently got sober from years of alcohol abuse, and 3 years of hard drug addiction, and been looking for something to occupy my time in a healthy, and beneficial way that will also help improve my physical and mental health. I've embarked on my journey 6 months ago, distanced myself from my drug friends, quit my liquor store job, focused back on my music (touring musician since I was 14, 34 now), spend time with my family and do my inner work. Understand myself, learn, and moat of all grow. And I feel that the tools you have shared with us all, will too aid in my recovery. I'm absolutely in love with the process, and I just subscribed to you. Thank you for sharing this precious info, and continuing to inspire. Much love!!

I recently got a big wooden box that some machine parts came in from work, spent a day prepping it and getting compost and finally planted food plants for the first time in my life. Only a few simple things, and it's winter in NZ so I didn't do anything that will be effected by the cold. It's channels like yours that finally pushed me to actually try it for myself, and hopefully end up saving me some money in the long run too. Thanx for the content bro.

Thanx man, Non of this works in South Africa except the compost bin. Where I stay its just river sand and creep moles and you dont get copper tools if you did even the moles will steal it and sell it at the scrapyard. They steal everything copper from your house here and sell it. You soil and climate looks awesome for veggies.

Hi, I commented on one of your videos before where you responded about vermiculite, and how it can be used for moisture retention and other things.
I just want you to know that for many years when I was younger, I used to garden quite a lot with my mother but as I've gone through school and university, I've sort of lost touch with that.
Your videos have inspired me to get back into gardening, and I'm currently looking at my new makeshift greenhouse which has tomatoes, kale, strawberries, chilies, and sweet pepper growing and I would like to thank you for your inspiring videos, delicious recipes and happy outlook on life!

If everyone in the world followed your way of living urban farming, zero waste, etc, the whole entire world would be in such better shape. The world would be an Oasis with no comparison to the state of the world today. I love your channel, your content, and how amazing you are at what you do, how knowledgeable you are, and how much you have continued to inspire me to continue to grow as many fruits, herbs, and vegetables, that I can fit in my backyard in California. I feel so great when it’s just me and the nature, and when I make my compost, mix my vermiculite, sow my seeds, water, and grow my plants, and harvest them, and make a fresh salad for example from my backyard to my bowl, with my own home grown organic onions, romaine lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and oregano. Keep doing what you love man. I love your channel!!! You are a kindred spirit!!!!! We need more people like you on this Earth!!!!! Greetings and Love from USA California!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🍀🌱🌱🌱🌴🌴🌿🌼🌳🌳🍃🍃🍃

It's an incredible feeling to see all your hard work pay off with a surplus of fresh produce. However, it can be challenging to handle the abundance of vegetables all at once.
One possible solution is to plan ahead and anticipate the potential abundance. You can research different preservation methods such as canning, pickling, freezing, or dehydrating, depending on the type of vegetables you have. These techniques can help you extend the shelf life of your produce and enjoy them throughout the year.
