    I'm not even vegan and don't have plans on ever being vegan but I have so much respect for this man and what he does. If everyone only grew some of their own crops.

      If you watch the movie “What the Health” you might become vegan overnight. After I went vegan I was just stunned I hadn’t done it sooner.

      I’m not a vegan either, I’m an omnivore, you don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy fresh home grown produce.

    I love how you recycle your neighbour's rubbish!! I often find freebies on the side of the road and reuse them in the garden!! Saves so much land waste for sure!!

    I started my own garden this year. I live near a pretty busy street in urban area and my garden is not a huge one but I will try to get something out of it.     Lots can also be grown in pots so If you have to move home the pots go too. Do you find using spent mushroom compost you also get the odd few random mushrooms as a bonus? Love the bamboo idea.

    Unbelievable. I wish I had done the same when I was in London.
    I had it tidy only flowers 💐 no fruits or veggies.
    Since I moved outside I am growing veggies.

    After a long heavy rain, smack the logs with a mallet to trigger fruiting! Hope you get a ton. I have 6 logs and I have an abundance in my pantry. Well worth the wait!

    We are not centrial, we are greater london, We grow a lovely front and back garden with 2 allotments. I think its very very important to have your own veggies etc

    You are an inspiration! I'm sorting my garden right now! My aim is herbs and basic veggies for now! Im also growing a flower garden or the bees and butterflies! It feels so good to be outside in the sun 🌞 thank you for posting your stories and being so positive. Xx ps. Do you have any tips for killing off Japanese knot weed? I don't want to use chemicals if I can help it, nothing seems to work.

      I'm glad to hear you are spending time in the garden. Aw to be honest I never had that issue before but I heard a property could even loose value if infested by it

      Did you know you can eat it like rubarb when it's young? Pretty tasty! I've had it all over my city backyard. It thrives in places with compacted ground or where there is a lot of pavement etc aka a city :p (it's native habitat is volcano rock) so maybe when you improve the soil and take away stones and keep eating it, other plants will take over. Good luck!
