Last year I grew potatoes were my tomatoes were the previous year. I had tomatoes growing in with my potatoes. The potatoes bugs were eating my tomatoes plants. Every morning I was going out and squashing potatoes bugs. I finally used vinegar and dish soap on my plants. That helped.

For potato bugs, try "bug juice". Pick all the bugs you see off the plant, put them into a blender with water and emulsify the bugs. Strain and put into a spray bottle. Spray the potato plants. Problem solved.
Bug juice has worked for me with all kinds of bugs.
It is bug specific. Emulsified tomato bugs and get rid of your tomato bugs.
Squash bugs will have no effect on cucumber bugs or aphids. Only squash bugs.
It seems to last all season without extra application. But anytime I see a bug, I put it in water to emulsify it, and spray it on whatever plant it came off of.
    It works.

Gardening and growing fruits and vegetables is something I decided to try my hand at this year so I planted a small raised garden. I learned some things the hard way and that’s ok. But it’s only made me wanna do more. Unfortunately it’s mid July. Am I too late to start growing potatoes and stuff? If so what are things I can grow or what are things I should be doing to prep for next season? I live in northern utah so we get all 4 seasons and we’re about 97-100 degrees right now

Yes you defo can but I wouldn’t use anything sprayed with pesticides. If you check the label they will alway state what pesticide they use as by law they have to but most people ignore it. Buy organic potatoes and do the same process 😊
