    Top Quilt Hanger. You can clip the TQ to the ridgeline thing and slide it out of your way, and pull it down when youre ready to go to bed....on an adjustable shock cord....but it would allow you to keep the insulation over you and kinda vent it in certain conditions instead of it being right on top of you.
    Say its cool one night, and the next night its a bit warmer....boom. no more taking your TQ on and off of you and getting cold, hot, cold, hot....it just stays over you, but not ON you.

    This is definitley something I'll get! And I love that you can lock it in place. This solves so many problems I have for storing simple small stuff.
    How about just a simple hook as a new attachment as well? That would be very versitile.
    Good job with the inevating you are doing. Always great stuff!

    Make hooks in different sizes. I'd rather hang my headlamp or hat onto a hook than having to carry the attachments around.

    Awesome! Will you make a bag big enough to hold a tablet (amazon fire)? I often lay in my hammock in the back yard and watch movies, RUclips videos etc.. Another product I would like to see is a peak back or bigger 2QZQ PEAK STORAGE BAG big enough to hold a top quilt. On hot evenings you do not want the top quilt, but later in the night you want easy access to it when you wake up chilly.

    A little bungee pouch to put the clothes and accessories you shed off! Or a small diffuser pouch you can put flashlights into. Lastly maybe a bear spray holder?

    Add another thread/nut to the other side of the of the little hug. That way, I could thread in various cords that I may want to string along the inside of my ridgeline (such as a charging cord, chrismas lights, etc. I currently do this with small cords and prussik knots but I'd be interested in upgrading to something that locks in better and holds things tighter to the ridgeline. You should also add in a link on your site to all the things that do connect into that hub (obviously the D-Ring on the phone holder which at least look a little different than the gear clip)

    Very cool! Any chance that you will make them to fit thicker cordage down the road? On my chameleon I removed my ridgeline and replaced it with 1/8 inch amsteel (and in case you're wondering "why the heck did he do that" it's because I spliced some LED lights through the amsteel core so I could have lights built into my ridgeline lol)

    You know what would be cool? An attachment to spread the bugnet off your face. It could be like a coat hanger without the bottom horizontal part, with the tips rouded (so we don't puncture the bugnet)

    someone might want a standard camera tripod post or one with a lockable gimbal dohicky?? Camera would hang upside down tho. Do content producing people do that? Can't think off the cuff about what else uses a camera tripod post.

    You could sell those Dutchware Gear hats…just sayin’

    • @Hangs4Fun
      @Hangs4Fun Год назад

      I would think a Dutchware Gear hat would just have a D Ring sewn into them (kind of like how they thought of having all those connections on the Chameleon in advance of having products that would already use them. As long as you have a D ring on something, it should technically be able to snap into this RidgeLink system. And I would think it is not limited to just attaching and locking on to the ridgeline. It should be able to attach to any line of that size or smaller and allow you to slide it and then lock and attach things with a D ring

    A hook tree. I'd rather be able to hang my hat/headlamp/etc. on a hook tree than have a clip permanently on my hat/headlamp/etc.

    Need Hookers...a simple hook...sized so it can easily hold eyeglasses or sunglasses, or a small lantern like the Black Diamond Moji or Nite Ize Moonlit, but just large enough to work for holding a headlamp strap or ballcap. I don't really want extra dangly bits hanging off my headlamp, ballcap, or other gear...just a few Hookers I can leave in my hammock.

    The threaded portion that attaches to the line is really nifty. I'm not sure how sold I am on the attachment point for the accessories, though, and wonder about load capacity and durability. Sounds like I'm in the same camp as a lot of other commenters in thinking that a simple hook on the end might fit my needs better. On an unrelated note, loving my beetle buckles and they made a great gift for a friend as well :)

    How about something that could be used to secure wet socks, etc. so they can be dried without being blown away. And a directional holder for a solar-recharged fan for hot weather would be perfect - if such a fan exists!

    one of those pouches for a tablet instead of a phone... looks like maybe that's what you got there, what you teased in the last video. but it's hard to tell if that would fit my full sized Galaxy tablet. one issue that I have with the way I do it now: when it's foggy, moisture can get in the USB-C connection, and that stops recharging from the power bank. the same thing would happen with phones, so if you solve that problem, that adds a lot of value to this system

    • @dutch3323
      @dutch3323  11 месяцев назад

      The phone holder we have is sized for a phone. It's a great idea to make a larger one for a tablet though. Thanks!

    • @better.better

      they already have one, released about the same time as the bug-net with a spreader pole in it (that he's using in this video)

    • @better.better
      @better.better Год назад +2

      well, not so much double-ended, it's a DCF compression sack with a port in the closed-end to pass through the continuous loop to your suspension. theres a wide-mouth at the other end, incorporated with a sock made from their Cloud fabric, the sock goes down around the rest of your hammock set up (like a snake-skin for your tarp) to keep everything together, then stuff the whole thing into the compression sack. it's not big enough for zero degree or colder quilts, I tried, but the description says the coldest rated quilt size recommended
