Dan is one of my favorite vocalists. I could, and do, listen to Imagine Dragons all the time and I would never get sick of listening to him. Even live he sounds amazing. ❤️🙌
Dan's voice is how i feel my inner voice, and its actually quite depressing that i cant sing with that same kind of power and emotion.

It all sounds so badass in the recordings, but I can imagine him making these goofy noises with his voice to experiment around until finding the right sound

Since you’ve been doing more vocal studies and talking about analyzing how much artists give away you should look at Blue and Yellow by The Used. Their whole self titled album is one of my favorites of all time. I’ve been trying to figure out mixed voice and for some reason that song finally helped me figure it out. He starts out right on the edge of his break and just pushes up clean (i think, it’s what I do). I noticed you haven’t had any on Bert yet, which I know his screaming is way wrong, but you should think about it his singing on the first album is especially amazing.

I’ve seen you’ve done a few Japanese artists already, so I gotta recommend Yuuri. He’s one of my favorite singers and I’ve always been curious about his…distortion I guess? I don’t know exactly what it is since there’s a lot of different terminology when it comes to rough vocal effects, but you’ll probably know when you hear it lmao. For songs I gotta go with either the First Take version of “Betelgeuse” or the acoustic version of “Wo” (“うぉ” in Japanese). Whatever he does he’s fucking amazing at it and sadly not many of his songs showcase it. Hell, he does it way more in random karaoke videos or covers than in his own songs lol

In your analyses any voice becomes ten times more amazing than it seems for a normal person ;) But I definitely can agree, this song is really good, I didn't know it earlier.
Still please check Son Jin Wook's live cover of 'Believer' (yes, I will keep nagging you about him :D), in my opinion he took that song to a whole another level. He also made a cover of 'Warriors' by Imagine Dragons, it's also really nice, but not that amazing because it's recorded in studio.
Actually there are dozens of songs I'd love to hear analyses of, but they're often by quite obscure artists :( So I guess I'll have to stick to my favorites for now (the other aside of Jinwook is CORVYX, he's more popular, but still not enough in my opinion).
