It’s so beautiful. Anna really brings a mature and graceful tone to her singing that really suits her role as an “older” Christine ❤

Yeah I’ve been looking for a clip of Anne’s version of ‘Look With Your Heart’ !
I know some people have said this song has a terrible message LOL and yeah I can see their point, but in the context of this story I think it’s just suppose to be more of just a typical ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover, aka beauty lies within’ message.
However I tend to like to view it more as a commentary on just how much Christine’s viewpoint of both Raoul and the Phantom has changed since she’s matured. Remember she once viewed Raoul as her girlhood Prince Charming, her ‘EYES’ told her he was her romantic ideal and her love for him was wrapped up in that.
“Love you misunderstand, is love that you’ll regret”…she misunderstood her love for Raoul, and once she outgrew Prince Charming their relationship crumbled because what did they really have in common other then childhood games and memories?
However her ‘HEART’ responded to Erik’s music, and even though her ‘Eyes’ told her to run from him because he was a deeply disturbed man, her heart was still connected to him in a way she could never shake no matter how hard she tried.
“Love’s a curious thing, it often comes disguised, look at love the wrong way it goes unrecognized”….her love for the Phantom was unrecognized at first because she didn’t understand it.
Yes he was complex, dark, and damaged and he frightened her when she was young in more ways then one…but the bond they shared would not so easily crumble because her love for him was rooted in a shared passion and love of music.
He will never get enough of her voice and she will never get enough of his genius…hence their love will ‘Never Die’ LOL 😉

That's a good point, love never dies but in the end her "love" with Raoul died, so the logical implication is that such love didn't exist.

@@sofesofe5367 I wouldn’t say it ‘died’ so much as she ‘outgrew’ Raoul, her love for him wasn’t the love of a Woman but the love of a Girl, and once that girl grew up their was nothing really keeping Raoul and Christine together, they didn’t have anything in common as mature adults.
Whereas her and the Phantom actually had a shared passion in music, and they viewed each other almost as the embodiment of music. So their love was actually founded on something substantial that would last.
