I think the story is a little weak, but as you say: The songs gives me chills, too. Especially "The beauty underneath", where he hopes his son won't care about his looks
I love how when she says “once it has spoken, love is yours” she looks at Erik. And his reaction is so sweet. And I love how when she says “hearts may get broken” she looks at Raoul. Ik that’s mean but I can’t help but love it💀
I went to watch Love never dies some years ago and it was such a good show I went and bought the dvd of the show and I rewatched it on dvd. I have to specifically mention that this particular scene is sooooooooo beautiful and soooooooo romantic!
Ben and Anna make this show actually sound like an opera. It’s wonderful. Sierra and Ramin did have very good technique, and they both did a good job at reenacting the characters that they were supposed to be, but Ben and Anna together tell a different and more amazing story as if it was never related to POTO. It’s its own thing when they’re performing, and I think it’s amazing.
I think that might be what's "missing" so to speak. That the "phantom" connection is more of a detriment that actively weakens the story. I think perhaps a revised version that cuts those hindering "elements" might be for the best. Cause there truly is something incredible here, it just needs to embrace that "incompatibility" with POTO. Maybe cut "Raoul", his equivalent could be dead (due to any 19th-century excuse) and "Christine" is a widow who came to New York alone with Gustave. (Use his "screen time" to further build up this "new world" and it's history. It can be for the same Hammerstein reason and change nothing about "Erik" wanting his beloved back. (deformity optional but probably best it remains) Heck, some of the "Phantom influence" can even remain (By all means wear it on your sleeve!) but ultimately Love Never Dies works better as a "Stand alone."
I am a lifelong Sarah Brightman fan and a massive Phantom Phan. I was not a fan of this show but I have to give it to Anna, she's just sensational! I wish she'd come to Broadway in something.
The story doesn't work for the characters of the earlier show; but the lead performances were beautiful and the costumes/sets were beautiful. I liked some of the songs, and it was all very romantic; but it didn't work as a whole. Anna O'Byrne was great. Somehow she made me think of "Show Boat", as did the show.. which was weird.
The songs are so but so wonderful, just as the scenario and the costumes. I love Anna O'Byrne as Christine, she looks like an older and more mature girl even though her character sucked in Love Never Dies. But i still prefer Sierra's version of this song, because of the lyrics and because i was already a phan many years before meeting Anna.

I don't know why but when the Phantom gets boldly passionate like this, he appears more like seductive vampire than human towards Christine. After seeing Ramin and Ben Lewis as the Phantom, and Anne and Sierra as Christine, I think it would be epic if Sierra and Anne fused into one Christine, and Ramin and Ben Lewis fuse into one Phantom. Just saying.
Yes, she was perfect and all... But tell me what sense does it make to upload the same three/four songs over and over again just with different titles? 😐😐😐
The only default in this masterpiece is how Meg is the « vilain » even if they show that she’s just having feelings and she lost herself they still made her the evil girl and this what is bad but the music the character and the story is amazing
Honestly.. say whatever you want about the plot and characters, but these songs are incredibly beautiful.🖤 I got chills every time.
I totally agree! The songs are just amazing!!
Yes, true

Love her rendition of Love Never Dies. My favorite one without a doubt 🥰🥰🙌🏻

It was just underrated
Anna is just stunningly beautiful as Christine. I just can't help feel envious of her beauty and her voice.

Ben's facial expressions I found so unintentionally joyful, that's not a criticism of the actor.
We watched for the first time this performance during the first Covid Lockdown....it brought us beauty during very difficult times...magnificent!!🌹
Oh..
My three favorite songs from LND.
All in one video.💙
Thank you!
Say whatever you want but Anna is the best Christine EVER !!❤
I was so lucky to be able to see this live.

Perfeito 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
Awesome 👌 👏
The ticket price was worth it just for this one song.
Despite LND being an OOC catastrophe, I love the costumes and songs.

why is the audio pitch shifted on an official channel????????????
For copyrighted purposes. This is the official filmed production for the musical, the RUclips page is just sharing it for more people.

I think it's because they mixed the song
It’s getting views, is it not? Then there you go, that’s the point.

My wife😻😻
Wait, so when was it they slept together then? Before Phantom of the Opera took place, I guess?
The night the phantom first appears to her and takes her away on the boat
After.
Christine and Raoul’s wedding night
@@fanheadxx no
its before her wedding with raoul, so after the events of poto
honestly i like the idea of the show but its just not catchy music and feels like a mess
It is catchy music, but it’s the plot that’s awful. The music is glorious. I love it. Meg being the bad guy, nope.
