    I've been searching RUclips for the best Elote cup. I've seen plenty of them. I wanted to find the best and most authentic recipe. By far yours is the best. I will be using your recipe when I make mine.

    Brother! You keep coming up for all my Texas slow and go recipes. My goal here in a lil bit is a Texas trinity (brisket and sausage with jalapeños and cheddar) with jalapeño bacon twinkies and elote street corn.
    Brother, I think it’s time I meet you and get some great of preparing this and cooking it all (plus I think we would have a great Indy time making this HOT South street dish)

    Any recommendtion on how to cook the corn if you don't have access ro a grill?

    • @TheBarbecueLab
      @TheBarbecueLab  2 месяца назад

      You could cut all of the kernels off the cob and just saute them in a frying pan to get a little color. I’ve even bought a bag of frozen sweet corn and done this when corn isn’t in season.

      @@TheBarbecueLab Thanks for the tips! Just brought some corn yesterday so definitely try to make this today =D

      @@TheBarbecueLab Made it today was delious! Although the corn wasn't that sweet, might be a bit out of season now so try with frozen next time.

    Cotija cheese is a hard to find variant of Feta. Most recipes use Mexican crema (which is a hard to find variant of sour cream)
