I’ve been a fan of Bad Omens since their first record. I am not surprised they are near the top of rock/metal right now. BUT I am surprised just how much exterior outreach they’ve obtained. I’ve been shocked a few times to find out how many people know of them. “Normal” people who you would never guess listen to metal love Bad Omens. It helps that pretty much any girl on the planet can appreciate Noah and his vocals. It’s so exciting to me watching this scene grow and create more opportunities for people involved. It looks like a growing portion of our culture wants to hear some hard hitting rock again for the first time since Linkin Park.
There's always been a huge following for rock music. The "popularity" of it on radio, TV, etc changes.
I agree with you, I just saw Bad Omens live a few days ago and I have never seen so many girls at a show like this
The best/worst part about Bad Omens' rise is how hard it is to find tickets to their shows! Tickets for their Tempe show in a couple weeks are over $200. Good for them bad for me! Just glad I saw them a couple times in the last few years.
I just saw them on Tuesday for $35 it really depends on the venue, it’s capitalism.
The $200 tickets are probably resale tickets since the tour was already sold out before it even started. The band does not profit from resale tickets, only the original face value of around $35
The tickets I bought for their last show of the CONCRETE FOREVER tour which will be in Milan in February, were $40 on pre-sale and $45 general sale.
