@@Rex-ii2yz I thought the Top Secret one was an earlier issue that was the origin of Snake Eyes. I could be wrong. It's sitting in my box somewhere. I have a lot of GI Joe Comics, but only started collecting somewhere in the mid twenties so I don't have The Silent Castle, etc.
The Larry Hama GI Joe is the official history of GI Joe. The comics are still the best. Resolute was a fun animated version that I'd love to see more of. It's the best animated version in my eyes.

I just ran across that issue digging in the back room. The cover says Top Secret if I am thinking correct. Mind blown as a kid!

I have a Snake-Eyes tattoo. It's a mixture of TMNT and GI Joe though. Also has Raph, Storm Shadow, and Shredder.
