    Mate,, I bought one of these things after seeing your video from the link below,, and even used your coupon code
    The company that sold it was friendly and appreciate of my purchase and I got it less than a week after ordering it
    This mask is great!!! a lot less bulky than my previous mask, it does not feel as "intrusive" , Its also a lot more quiet and gives me a better nights sleep.
    BTW - I do not work for F&P.

    Thank you for your awesome content! I have had some serious changes in my life and only in 30 days of use with the resmed air curve 10! I’ve lost 23 pounds, and my blood pressure has dropped from a normal 170/130 to 90/60! I’ve been struggling with chf, apnea and weight gain and at only 33. 78 events an hour down to just 8. So with these benefits I’ve been seeing, id rightfully name it the DreamCare Fit!
    Thank you guys and my your sleep be with you!

    Great review.
    I feel F&P have done an awesome job with this mask. I personally found the seal to be superior to the F30i, and the strap tightness required to maintain that seal comfortable at high pressures. This is F&P's new best mask hands down I reckon.
    If there is one real weakness it is the thinnest part of the mouth section where the cushion seals below the lip - Nico was right to highlight that. I think that is where the seal may go sooner than later - we will see.
    Overall it feels both ultra light and a little fragile, but durability so far has been fine. Don't get me wrong though - the lightness and general freedom this mask offers is 10/10.
    Right now I love this mask, but I am going to wait and see if it is going to let me down after a couple of months - which I felt the F30i did a little (and I tested several of those.)
    I'm not entering the comp as I already have one.

I love my Evora nasal mask, but I'm always looking for a full face mask that will work for me, and I have really high hopes for this mask. My entry for the name is F & P's Laud Lasan Acob; which is Dual Nasal Boca, with each word backwards, (boca is Spanish for mouth). Given their naming for the Eson, I thought this would be in keeping with that tradition, lol. That looks like an ideal mask, I have been using Resmed masks and I find them hard to wear because the headgear is usually too narrow. When they get a bit of use the straps seem to curl up and act like a rope. A good name for your new mask would be Sleepeasy.

    Longtime, happy Resmed Quattro FX mask wearer. I am advised that this mask is being discontinued in March 2023 so have been looking for the next one. Tried the Vitera, it tore up the bridge of my nose (tried both cushion materials) and the Resmed nasal masks - I could never get a good seal. So I ordered the Evora and await its arrival. I use a heated tube. How does a heated tube work with the Evora? Thanks in advance from Alaska!

    Been using this mask for a couple of months, much better than other full face masks which squashed my nose and aggravated the skin on my cheeks. Much more comfortable. Hate the exhalation holes, definitely need some type of diffuser, I find the air will blow out against bedding and make noise or blow back on you. My husband also uses CPAP and l hate getting a blast of cold air in my face from his mask!

      @CPAP Reviews It was 11.1 per hour, 80 for the full night. Despite it being considered mild, my symptoms have been quite intense. I barely have any motivation. When it's really bad, I have anxiety attacks.At least once a month, I'll wake up with atrial flutter; that's been the most concerning thing.

    • @DoubtingThomas333
      @DoubtingThomas333 2 года назад +1

      @@isaacgates5859 I'd be testing for other things too my friend. Especially deficiencies of any sort. Get your iron, b and d vitamins optimal. The pathology ranges are very basic, if you talk to a hematologist, they'll probably tell you why they're all quite controversial as they are.
      With such mild AHI, i would be seeing what your blood oxygen saturation was like (if it didn't drop below 90%, then I'd even question being on cpap therapy). Other than that, try a tongue retainer, you'll probably get all the benefit of an expensive cpap machine for lunch money and convenience.

    • @isaacgates5859
      @isaacgates5859 2 года назад

      @Thomas when I first went to the hospital with the arrhythmia they checked all my vitamins, and they all came back perfect. While my AHI was rather mild, I know it can vary depending on the night, so I wonder if I had the sleep study on a different day if it wouldn't come back higher. I also check all the risk factors for sleep apnea except for age: I'm male, obese, and a lot of family on my fathers side has it, including him. My insurance is also covering most of the cost of the cpap. Hopefully, it'll help a lot, but I definitely think it's worth trying given the situation.

    • @DoubtingThomas333
      @DoubtingThomas333 2 года назад

      @@isaacgates5859 I'd say the heart issue is unrelated to your mild sleep apnoea. I had severe undiagnosed sleep apnoea for 20+ years, with no heart issues. At the end of the day if your AHI is low, and your blood oxygen saturation is within healthy ranges, cpap therapy is overkill.

    So ready to get one of these when available.
    I’d vote for Minima (a decent name for a minimal-contact FFM)
    Or I’m thinking they could have called it the Bettera, who doesn’t want a BETTER CPAP mask; but I suspect the Evora Full name will stick. Like the Amara View, which I’m pretty sure is more popular than the Amara mask ever was.
    I’m glad someone has finally released an aftermarket quick-release!
    The vent holes… that problem has already been solved, I hate those stupid things. Some nasal masks come with a vent built into the elbow on the front, with a little clip-on diffuser. I think the Bleep Dreamport has something like that too. When I can get one of these, I’ll just tape a sliver of cpap filter over them.
    Now if we could just get an aftermarket one of those (little piece of tube with a diffuser) we’d almost be set.
    Has anyone tried integrating a chin strap into a nasal mask? Seems like a nasal mask (or even full-face) with a little loop on bottom to keep your mouth shut would help fix dry mouth for folks, too.

I use the large mask (I tried to use the s-m first but it caused a sore around my nose) and it fits wonderfully however there is so much air rushing out of the vent holes that it is disconcerting (not noisy) when you are still awake! I also noticed some dampness! I wonder if that can be alleviated in some way!

      I am an active sleeper, meaning I roll side to side. I wake up with the hose crinkled in my neck, under my shoulder, etc. Royal Pain.
      I wish the hose at the mask DID swivel, might help the tugging.
      I ordered a mask that comes out on top. Here's hoping for a better sleep.
      Also, I used an extra plastic beveled sink ring, tacked it on the wall above my bed... slides the hose fairly easily. I still get caught in it, though. LoL
      This is my first mask. It's a hard learning curve. But I'm going to keep the mask and when I have a cold it will be my go-to. But I do lay on my side so I do have leaks and the noise is irritating.

    After seeing this review, I purchased the Evora full face mask. Fitment-wise, the Evora is much better than my Resmed Air Touch F20 and there's no leaks but the mask doesn't hold pressure as well as the F20. At pressures between 4 and 20 there's a considerable amount of air that comes out of the exhalation holes which is being forced out by the pressure and not my exhalation. For me, I'll test it for another night or two to see how my sleephq numbers are affected but I think I'll end up going back to the F20.

      I had really high hopes for this mask but I had exactly the same issue. Pressure was much lower and my sleep definitely suffered as a result. Any increase in pressure to counter this just made the mask noisier, my wife hated this mask as a result. I've since gone back to my Resmed. Mask profile was excellent and fit was slightly better for me than my Resmed but ultimately it failed and my sleep apnea came back.

    One major design flaw. The tube from the mask to the heated tube hook up is crazy long and if you need heated humidity, you get massive rain out as the warm moist air cools in the very long non heated tube. Super crazy. Why so long? I am going to try a cozy wrap. But last night water was dripping out of the mask and my head gear was all wet
    Fit wonderfully though with no leaks. F&P needs to make us a short tube.

    Hi, I am a new subscriber. I had a recent diagnosis of severe sleep apnea and started CPAP 2 nights ago. I'm using a Fisher and Paykel SimPlus full face mask. The mask is working well, comfortable and with a good seal and I'm able to sleep- which has been wonderful. I think, though, that I'd like a mask that is less bulky. I'm debating between trying the Fisher/Paykel Evora full mask (when it becomes available in the US) or the ResMed F30i. Nick- thank you. Your videos have been so helpful. I'd much appreciate any thoughts on the two masks from you, and anyone who has been able to try both, and why you like (or dislike) one more than the other. Thanks again.

    Hi Nick I just recently got this product I do find some parts a but difficult to dismantle. Have only used it once with no success, I know it needs more time. I could feel a breeze coming out and a slight noise. The resmed one with the magnets I did like much better but also I now have a pacemaker so that ones out. Can always feel air blowing around my mouth which can be annoying. Thanks very much for your informative videos, ❤😊 ps I bought mine through a sleep clinic, and it’s a bit late now for an exchange. Can still get a dry mouth.

    Thanks for your great review of this mask. I'm in the USA and have been trying one of these for a couple of weeks so far. The first mask I tried was not a good fit for me.
    I like this mask, and want to like it even more but I have been experiencing a problem with the mask causing skin irritations and painfulness on either side of my nose. I don't think I've been tightening the mask too much before going to bed, and I check for air leaks and there are none. It's after I've been laying my head on my pillow for a few hours that the mask seems to shift a bit and then I get air leakage at the seal. I reposition the mask but it's difficult to do this in the dark. So eventually I tighten the mask a bit and the soreness is terrible. Do you have any tips for me? In-between usage I have been rubbing cocoa butter lotion into my sore skin, which helps somewhat, but the pain starts up again when I wear the mask.
    Can you *please* help me, with some suggestions that have worked for others? Thank you so much. My face thanks you, too. ☺️

    Fand P definitely needs to work at their connection of the hose at the mask. I had tried the Evora and while the cushion was the most comfortable, it slid around on my head too much and I ended up breaking the hose while uncoupling the mask from the hose to clean it.

Thanks for these very informative videos. I'm learning a lot while I wait so I can make better informed decisions when it comes time. How about for a name for the mask. The "face hugger" like referencing the movie Alien? Because every time I see the full face masks, that's the visual that comes to mind. 😉

Have a M that has just arrived, I also have the Vitera FitPak that has just arrived also. I will be testing the Vitera M tonight, this new mask with the better facial exposre (less intrusive) looks very promising. I would name the new mask the "StelthMode Pro", let me know what you think about this one.
