    It's really great that in your videos you mention if you make a mistake, so others can avoid the same mistake by watching the video. Thank you for the video, and keep up the good work!
    I haven't been following your videos as much since I switched car brands, as I needed more seats than just 7. But Volvo is always in my heart, and it's great to come back and watch your videos because you've always been a Volvo lover and you take great care of your car

    Cant believe the rust on your front end. Extreme cold and salt with metal don't mix!!
    Here in Australia we don't have this issue
    Great job on the bearings without a hoist. I have used and would have used FAG ( made in Slovakia) from FCP.
    They give you a lifetime warranty.
    Your control arms are toast and should have been replaced with this job. I used Lemforder but in this instance Meyle HD is essential I feel

    Alternative way of telling if your bearing failed is by just grabbing your wheel and try to wiggle it up and down, and if there are movements or play that means you need to replace them. Definitely check on both sides as I replaced my LF (driver side) and not both fronts, and turns out both need to be replaced. Took knuckle off was a very time consuming job so make sure whoever is taking it off and have it pressed in prepare a whole day for this.
    Few points on the ABS sensor
    >ABS message will go away shortly after a drive if you did not damage the abs sensor.
    >Pay attention to the ABS sensor as collision warning equipped cars are different than regular cars.

    You can also just remove the brake caliper mount with the caliper attached to it, pull it off and slide the caliper over the spring like it's the rotor and zip tie in place.
    Hope you didn't overpay for that tool, but mine was out of round and needed to be shaved with a dremel in order to use. Despite being a heavy tool, kinda lacking on quality.

    Those lower ball joint bolts are proper pain in backside. When I did mine it took me almost 2 h to get one side off and other side bolt snapped and had to drill it out.
    Off topic but have you thought about installing 2 piston callipers from XC60 or would it not be worth the hassle?

    • @volvosweden
      @volvosweden  2 месяца назад

      The ball joint bolt on the passenger side almost broke. Separating was very hard. Been there from day one most likely. Two piston brakes not for me. It works fine just as it is.

I have problem with vibration and stuttering from front to back and vise versa from 1000-1200 rpm when driving i any gear doesnt matter. When idling and in N i can feel vibration on the steering wheel and passenger chair is vibration/moving little bit could that be engine mount or trany mount?
