He was so wonderful and a good man l just loved him ❤
Burt you are a class act we will miss you God bless
I am devastated that Burt has passed away. I can almost say that I love HIM more than his acting achievements...and his acting has been phenomenal!
His sense of humour was super intelligent, with a brilliantly heightened social awareness.
But, the guy was also incredibly warm, and had such an appreciation for other actors and performers - and this is fairly rare within an often ego-driven industry. Burt was always receptive to new, young talent, and was so easily able to divorce himself from any sense of self-importance; always ready to embrace his fellow industry peers - actors and directors alike.
He was a true legend. His star will shine eternally bright.

Well said Scott!
@@coldwinter5710 Hey... Only just discovered your compliment now.
Thanks a million!!
@@scottbrandts610 You captured the true measure of the man brilliantly! He would be very pleased, I'm sure.
Ariel Winters' wardrobe in this movie was ridiculous.

I met him once. He was one of the few people who treated me as though I was the only person in the room, and he listened and answered to what I said. It surprised me.
it doesn't surprise me, Burt has always been a mans man... he was never like the average celebrity , he was always quick witted and full of fun , charming enjoyed his success as an actor who kept his persona real and humble, down to earth . Burt was always himself and seemed very comfortable in his skin. He will be missed..
I met him in the early 90s after attending Evening Shade filming a couple times...He was amazingly sweet, charming and thanked me for saying such nice things to him. This was shortly before everything blew up (Loni, Evening Shade) I'll never forget it as long as I live... maybe even remember after I'm gone
@@pamblaydes7973 That's great to hear. Sometimes people regret meeting their heroes. I saw Smokey and the Bandit in it's original 1977 run, and was instantly attracted to his aura. My first favorite actor. I wish I could have met him.
@@scottbinns318 it was amazing! (sorry for the ID change, who knew I had so many youtube logins) anyway, yes, meeting Burt was the thrill of a lifetime! He was kind and I wish you'd had the same chance. He was incredibly sweet and generous with his time!
You actually were the only person in the room with him... literally
A good actor and a good man.. always gave his best and we got to enjoy him up on the big screen.. smarter than most people!!!
Even under all the gray hair, and after some serious health issues...that smart-ass, quick-witted charm is there.
Most of that 'hair' is a toupee
Burt was the best. I don’t think he ever really knew how his fans loved him. His final film was one of his most touching. We’ll miss him.
Not his last, he has another coming out next year yet !!
He knew how much we loved him, he truly paid attention to us when we talked to him. He thanked me for saying "such nice things" when I met him, and it was truly the most spectacular time of my life. He was one of a kind, and yes, he loved us, too.
I didn't get Kathleen Nolans' small role in this movie.
Was she in a movie with him a long time ago, that I'm not aware of ?
And I also wonder if she is suffering from Alzheimers in real life now ?

IS the best!
Burt Reynolds was a total daddy on that centerfold. I’m a little disappointed that he regrets it. He broke some many boundaries with that. He is just amazing. Love him.
I am 55 now and LOVE this man ! Sad to see him " older " now, Burt is a wonderful soul !

Fantastic performance by Burt in this film....should have had an oscar nomination....thoroughly enjoyed the movie from start to finish
R.I.P. Burt!! It was great to hear you speak the way you always do. YOU being YOU!! GOD has another angel.
I loved you Burt 25years a go you looked wonderful ..and right up till the end you still looked good and on the ball RIP I will miss you
Good movie, and a great actor.
A down to earth Hollywood legend... There will never be another like him.
I met Burt Reynolds once when he was making the series Dan August. He treated me with such kindness attention and respect and here I was a goofy 15 year old boy at the time. He will always have a special place in my heart. But I do have to say this interviewer was a total idiot. He had no decent coherent questions and he was completely outclassed by Burt Reynolds. We miss you Burt.
R.I.P. Burt Reynolds, Thank You for all the wonderful memories!
He moved on with dignity, courage, and even humor. Truly, the last Movie Star.
Miss you, Bert.
Now that he is gone to that next place I hope this movie becomes what it should be.
RIP Mr Reynolds.
RIP Burt. You will be missed. Let's not forget about Sharky's Machine. One of his best that seems to fall under the radar.
Burt was one of my childhood heroes and a great under rated actor. But he will always be the Bandit for me. RIP Burt.
He will always be Quint Asper to me.
Love Burt and I am glad he has a picture to promote. I wish the current crop of interviewers would stop asking him the same questions about " the one that got away" .
We all go thru this circle of life...just these stories burt tells are so wonderful......burt lived a very good life..charmed mostly.....he was a mans man...the alpha male....i think only Robert Redford and kirk dougals are the last ones now.....todays leading men are mostly feminized and have zero depth...R.I.P. BURT ...GOD BLESS U....
Smokey and the Bandit: East bound & Down! Burt Reynolds is a Legend. Fly high and know that you were loved.
I once saw Burt in an episode of Flipper. Yes, Flipper. He was a tv guest . This was before Gunsmoke I think.
This is a really good movie.....if you liked the movie "The Wrestler" and your a Burt Reynolds fan than you will enjoy this film. It does have a humorous storyline but at times is very emotional.....its more than a movie...its also a tribute to Burt Reynolds life and career and for his age and health he still does an amazing job in this film......considering it may be his last i would recommend checking it out if your a fan
Witty, talented and handsome to the end! LOVED that movie and I hope they got actors who GENUINELY admired his work 🎥✨✨🤗
ALWAYS be one of my heroes! Deliverance was amazing!
RIP Brother....! 😥😘💋💋
Thank you for so many beautiful memories!
From all the interviews that I've seen your very funny, you're sensitive you're real and certainly a man's man, what I saw was that I don't think you realized what a legend you really were. And that's a sad statement to make. But I say it with kindness and love in my heart! we'll see you on the other side Lewis....
xo
He was funny, talented as actor director whatever, handsome, gentleman as men what can I say the most amazing, awesome stunning actor I 've ever seen in my life ❤ 💜 ♥ RIP burt reynolds
He was great in Deliverance and All Dog's Go to Heaven.
What a wonderful person. He's a man's man. A true legend and superstar. We miss you Burt.

If he ad some cayenne pepper capsules or aspirin it may have saved him. But life is full of maybes.
Great career & entertainer!! Wonderful, playful & gorgeous man. He had a good run.
Hope he's in heaven....
He was simply one of a kind. The truth is, time moves on... and it never goes back...
I have kind of a mixed opinion of Burt Reynolds...he's done some good stuff, and he's done some real stinkers.....but, on an impulse while searching through Amazon Prime, I decided to watch "The Last Movie Star" last night...and wasn't expecting much...but it was actually really good.....there were a couple parts that actually had me tearing up....it was fairly heavy in a number of spots.....I think they listed it as a comedy...and there were some funny parts....but I would have considered it much more of a drama. Definitely worth watching.
Ozzpocket Productions Same here, so glad I did.
Even his campy performances are entertaining. Burt always seems to be having fun and his laugh is infectious. R.I.P. Bandit. You were one of a kind

I liked the movie.. it was a nice little swan song for Burt. It was cool to see old Burt acting in scenes with his younger self. A neat little flick and a fitting tribute.
I loved him in Smokey & The Bandit. That will always be my favorite movies!!!
I wish he had stayed on Gunsmoke longer.
Burt was a real gentleman for not walking out on this, the worst interviewer ever. Is this his first time interviewing a real celebrity? Someone, please teach this interviewer how to handle a microphone...dude, you are supposed to keep the mic up close to your face!
ABSOLUTELY!!!
The most beautiful man to ever walk the earth!!!!
Love this guy. He always reminded me of my first love, for whom I carried a torch for many years. Rest in peace Burt.
Come back Johnny Carson. The best chat show host of all time. Todays guys look and sound like amateurs. Burt even in his old age is a marvel to listen to.
Never really followed Burt much , like his movies , but my grandson favorite movie, Smokey and the Bandit . Awesome outfit . Good interview.
This guy was certainly Not Ready to interview Burt Reynolds!!!
Thanks Burt for entertaining us! Comedy and Action great combo!

I was an extra in Best Friends in early 1980's ,Goldie Hawn co-starred ,garbage ,but this guy was awesome, spent hours autographing and small talk with everyone .never forget his common touch.
What a great experience for you! I actually think "Best Friends" was very entertaining. I assume from your comment Goldie was not as friendly?
You couldn't answer a simple question, genius ?
@@coldwinter5710 Goldie Hawn was just as amazing , she was banging some CA surfer dude " her assistant lol" .my brother took him to Record Theatre cause she missed her son so much . "Burt a Legend that is up in his years* Surprised he did this Interview with you! - That said"..Your whole background with people walking by is distracting and takes away from the whole experience!!.. he was one of my heroes well me 43 RiP white Lightning
He's in so much pain here, the way he sits and keeps moving on the chair. They should have been giving him something more comfortable to sit on.
Goes along with the shity interviewer. They showed no respect for Mr. Reynolds. But, they just don't understand. Burt led them and showed them how to do it, even though they didn't get it.
The Best!
Good stuff.
I loved the movie. RIP Bandit
Gratidão ao Lendário 🙏🧡
These kids that interviewed him...have not lived the life with him and his movies... they wanted screen time. I lived and loved Burt.
Still witty and sharp
burt is great! i love him. he deserves better than this interviewer ....he is terrible, just a trainwreck with his stupid questions, arogant attitude
Worst interviewer ever. Learn about the person you’re going to interview!
This interviewer clearly did NOT do a lot of homework before meeting here with Burt, which is REALLY annoying and disprespectful. And to not know Burt was a gifted football player and a hardcore "college"/Florida State football fan is rediculous! Burt is rightfully annoyed by this.
This is freaking painful to watch! The interviewer knows little about Burt, and the audience seems like they don't have a clue who he is. He was a really BIG deal. The movie looks like a really good movie. Getting older is a bitch!!
I didn't get Kathleen Nolans' small role in this movie.

Very Sad...
Always thought Sharkey's Machine was a awesome movie . To bad he didn't direct more . To bad he didn't do Terms of Endearment.
All my hero's growing up are almost all gone . McQueen , Newman , Wayne , now Reynolds .
Same here, also Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin for me
They should have had a woman interview him. He would have responded better. You can see he’s not in good health and some warmth and caring nature would have gone along ways.
The interviewer is quite lost.
Lost isn't the word.

whoever gave him the plastic surgery, should be fired. sigh.
Burt Reynolds keeps saying "gorgeous man". He was gay for sure.
The interviewer was fantastic. You handled Burt perfectly.
Burt is doing more now that he's dead then he did when he was alive
Interviewer is terrible
Sad to see him like this. Smart and funny but sometimes not following the interviewers questions or not finishing his thought.
He is 82 yrs old. And has had a ton of experiences in his life, it's hard to stay on track because you want to share so many, or maybe unsure what memory will please the audience the most? Have you not ever gone down memory lane & gotten side tracked by another memory mid stream? I know I have & I'm a lot younger than Burt is here. Again...82 yrs old in this interview. Need we really say more?
I think it was more down to modern interviewers largely being dumped down and not understanding subtle humour. Mr Reynolds was still sharp and witty.
This interviewer is so bad, I can't even finish watching all of it.
