Aging aint for wimps! Burt was such a good-looking man in his younger days, fit, healthy, and handsome. One thing he never lost was his great sense of humour. An excellent actor who wont ever be forgotten
For all the idiots who think he's washed up ... Burt came to Massachusetts to a convention last year. He was signing autographs I stood in a line that took 2 hours to reach him. He was gracious and exactly like I thought he'd be. He will always be "The Bandit" A legend in his own time
True Legend. Sad to see age take its toll on him. But it happens to everybody if you are around long enough. Glad we had Burt for as long as we did. RIP
In his case, I don't think it was just age. He was also very sick. I think that if he didn't have his sickness, he would look a lot better than he does here.
He has always had a great wit....though I truly think his humor more borne of sadness/loneliness. I really wish he and Sally had refound one another later in life.
I was such a big fan of Burt Reynolds... watch him in Deliverance or Boogie Nights..This man was talented, funny, charming and an excellent actor...you meant a lot to so many of your fans. RIP Burt.
When you see sally field and Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the bandit you can see that Burt and sally definitely have a connection. It’s amazing to watch and very joyful to see how they relate to each other with such eaze
He should WIN the OSCAR for this very touching and excellent story, really about his own life ! ..Classic exit as this was his last performance and he never won an OSCAR and he Deserves it for this great, yet sad role ! A+ movie ! Rest now Burt and Thank you for the memories sir !
There's no other actor like this man. The Johnny Unitas, Johnny Cash, Babe Ruth, John Wayne, and the Richard Petty of this decade of acting. You will be missed Mr Reynolds. Ride on in the heavens.
To this day I still know every line from Smokey and the Bandit, R.I.P Burt and thanks for making my childhood so much better. Us Scots are hard people but I admit that I shed a few tears when I heard the news, Legends never die and you live on in many of our hearts...
This man is a legend. He was my childhood hero bar none. Smokey and the Bandit made a huge and lasting impression on me when I was 7 in 1977. I hope this new film does him some justice and it’s not a thrown together borefest. He deserves better and hopefully he got it. Can’t wait to see it.
Burt is one of the great ones. Right up there with Bronson, Wayne, and Eastwood. Two of my favorite films of his: Sharkey's Machine and Deliverance. Smokey and all the others were great too.
just curious, what did he do in 79' ? or uh what did he do before 79' that wasn't good enough for ya? He did his best work before 79'. nothing much after.
Ariel Winters' wardrobe in this movie was ridiculous. Whoever thought putting her in that pair of shorts for the entire movie was a good idea, should be horsewhipped. WRZ 2022-08-19
"So proud of you for not having your lips enlarged." Burt was a legend in the 70s and 80s for his comedic approach. Watched his movies with my dad and loved all of them. RIP Burt Reynolds.
What a fun interview...and Burt was still witty and sharp close to the end of his life, may he rest in peace. Kind of choked me up when he said that Sally Field was the love of his life. Joe DiMaggio's was Marilyn ...and Burt's was Sally. Despite all that happens in a relationship, when it is that 'soul mate' kind of love, it never dies. God bless your soul Burt
Burt Reynolds, you'll be terribly missed. I'm sure you're in heaven with all your best friends, having a blast. You lived a full life that 99% of most men will never get too.
I love Burt Reynolds! My fave of him is The Bandit! And he was SO right about Sally Field! She was PERFECT for those movies! One of my favorite movies of all time! A LEGEND! You still got it Burt ;)
Burt became ill and lost a lot of weight, people in the industry thought he had aids virus when the virus was rampant. He couldn't even get his phone calls returned .
He's the spitting image of my Father from their 60s til the time they left this world. May you rest in peace wherever you are my heart knows there will never be another hero like you! Til we see each other again, I Love You Dad
I appreciate that he try’s to put himself together. Obviously he is wearing a hair piece and he dyes his eyebrows. He is old Hollywood and his Vanity is endearing. I remember as a kid watching Burt Reynolds movies. In his day, he was the biggest male movie star by far.
I was at that Wizard World too -- just because Burt was there. When he walked out on stage with his cane, I almost burst into tears. I hate to see my heroes get old. But I sure loved being able to see him, meet him and take a picture with him. I shot video of his entire Q & A.
He hated everything about Boogie Nights, especially the director. After Boogie Nights, the director offered him a major role in his next film, Magnolia. Burt said, "No, thanks."
fox on the run, Hollywood sends out screeners and vote cards, and it's supposed to be anonymous, so who really knows why he didn't win. But if that's the reason, shame on them for it! But it's no longer the 70s, and a lot of new people are involved now, so maybe they have evolved.
Burt tried to give him. self to a lot of people whom he thought would appreciate it. but he ended up giving it all to the people. hind sight is 20/20 love is a a 4 letter word.. Living in the moment is healthy but that's why self reflecting is very important..
I loved Burt's last film, 'The Last Movie Star'. His role is so close to heart and so real, one can't help getting choked up in the scene where he visits his ex wife in the nursing home. In my opinion, this is one of the finest roles he's ever played, and the most realistic. I knew him personally. He was a great human being. He was generous and kind. I'm proud to have worked with him on some local projects. I miss him.
Burt Reynolds had it all, good looks, personality, charisma, great screen presence, he was quite unique.
@Harry Beaverz Surely it can't be that hard to write nice comments about people who have passed away, or is it?
Aging aint for wimps! Burt was such a good-looking man in his younger days, fit, healthy, and handsome. One thing he never lost was his great sense of humour. An excellent actor who wont ever be forgotten

He will always be "The Bandit"
A legend in his own time
Gotta love him, 100% irreplaceable
He was, is & always be.....beautiful!💙
He had a great sense of humor
Well he's definitely washed up now, genius.
Why???????
Six months later he was gone. A true legend. RIP
As bad as his health was, he still had his sense of humor and sharp mind.
He lived a life very few could only dream of. The 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's even the 2000's.
Legends never die. RIP Burt.
Sebastian Elytron 😢
Certainly tough seeing like that. Sad.
We all die
When he kissed her hand I burst into tears...was such a great classy guy...May You Rest in Peace Mr. Reynolds

R.I.P Burt Reynolds, unforgetable ...
RIP,Sir!
yeah you say it, indeed, Burt Reynolds was a Sir ...
The Man is a true legend. Funny, talented, great actor, and handsome . My favorite image is the way he laughed in Smokey and The Bandit.
Give the man a break. He's in his 80s i believe.... but his movies and career are legendary. He'll always be the bandit.
You're the man Mr. Reynolds.
He was sick or something. Martha Stewart is 84 and looks way better...
So sorry that he has left us.
Not many actors are both brilliant on screen, AND totally genuine off screen.
Such a classy man.
Him n Kenny Rogers!
Great actor, athlete, multitalented man. RIP Mr. Reynolds.
"The Last Movie Star" is such a touching film, and Burt is incredible in it.
She did a great job interviewing him. She was sweet and respectful. Some older people sometimes don't care what they say and it could have gone badly.
He was always an absolute class act - a true legend. RIP
Respect for this legend. Talented, handsome, humorous. Burt's the man!
Burton Leon Reynolds Jr., February 11, 1936 - September 6, 2018. Rest In Peace 🏈 🎥
He’s a legend in my book ! Hate to see us get old .

In his case, I don't think it was just age. He was also very sick. I think that if he didn't have his sickness, he would look a lot better than he does here.
@@petersmithyy4556He was a stunt man and suffered from multiple injuries that caught up to him in his later years.
Dude has a brilliant sense of humor
He has always had a great wit....though I truly think his humor more borne of sadness/loneliness. I really wish he and Sally had refound one another later in life.

Always a great actor and will be missed and remembered for the laughter he brought to others.

Glad Burt gets this role and some attention. He's had his share of real hardships in the later years of his life.

We Love You, Burt. Always Have, Always Will. Rest In Peace.
He seems to have been genuinely well liked by most people. Possibly the biggest star in the world for a while.
Burt became ill and lost a lot of weight, people in the industry thought he had aids virus when the virus was rampant. He couldn't even get his phone calls returned .
I loved Burt. He has such a fun personality and full of life.
sounds sad he did not have his fathers support but that did not stop him...Burt one of the great actors R.I.P
That's usually what drives people like him to succeed
That was lovely. R.I.P. Burt Reynolds
Have always LUVED Burt Reynolds & his movies. Always entertaining.
I totally agree. I know the one who will forever hold my heart. We all have the one we’ll never stop loving even if we’d never admit it
Him swimming back to the beach in "The End" is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
You will be missed Burt more than you know. Sleep well brother and God bless.
Great actor...can't wait to see his new movie!
He was brilliant in Deliverance , The Mean Machine and excellent in Hustle. Missed but not forgotten.

He was a shell of his former self physically here, but still had that presence and sense of humor.
BURT REYNOLDS ,PLS NO GEORGE CLOONEY HE DOESN'T DO YOU HALF JUSTICE
George C...🙄👎
Saw Burt at WrestleMania 10 at MSG in NYC. Will miss him. ✝️
My wife, son and I met Burt for signings and photo ops at Chicago Wizard World 2015. He was great and hit on my wife lol. The man.
I was at that Wizard World too -- just because Burt was there. When he walked out on stage with his cane, I almost burst into tears. I hate to see my heroes get old. But I sure loved being able to see him, meet him and take a picture with him. I shot video of his entire Q & A.
It was covered with his hand. Unfortunately, that cosmopolitan spread cost him the Academy Award for "Deliverance."
He hated everything about Boogie Nights, especially the director. After Boogie Nights, the director offered him a major role in his next film, Magnolia. Burt said, "No, thanks."

Indeed, that is true - but man, was he AWESOME in that role.
What a world 😢it is sad to hear a father didn't show affection to such a great human being and talent ❤
Burt Reynolds, you seem so sad.
You are a great actor and man, all the best your way.
Thanks Burt for all the good old times and saying to us ; Live one day at a time and in the moment.
Burt tried to give him. self to a lot of people whom he thought would appreciate it. but he ended up giving it all to the people. hind sight is 20/20 love is a a 4 letter word.. Living in the moment is healthy but that's why self reflecting is very important..
It’s a shock, it seemed like he’d never grow old, I am sad.
Gorgeous, charming guy, he was THE guy in his prime.
